WILLIAM O'CONNOR has blasted hot conditions at the World Cup of Darts.
And the 38-year-old also reckons a player will FAINT if nothing is done about it.

The Limerick-born thrower has been in action for Ireland at the event in Frankfurt.
Alongside team-mate Keane Barry, O'Connor helped his nation beat Switzerland 8-3 to reach the last eight at the Eissporthalle Frankfurt.
Despite the victory, O'Connor was unhappy with the conditions.
He fumed: "It's so hot up on that stage, it's hard to play our best darts. It's really, really hard. It's terrible.
"They are going to have to change the venue or maybe put on a bit of air conditioning or something, but someone's going to drop up on that stage.
"I'm not exactly the biggest man in the world, but it's hot up on that stage and it's not good.
"The quicker we get off that stage, the better. That's it."
Barry, 22, agreed with his team-mate's sentiment.
The Duleek dartist said: "On stage, it's seriously hot. Darts slipped out of my hand, I thought the dart was just so sticky.
"It's the same for everyone too. You can't be really complaining about it. It's the same for both players. It's another factor to try and get around.'
Ireland are set to be back in action tomorrow in Frankfurt.
O'Connor and Barry will take on Northern Ireland 's Josh Rock and Daryl Gurney.

Inter forward Taremi stranded in Iran amid conflict

June 15 (Reuters) - Inter Milan forward Mehdi Taremi has been left stranded in Iran after failing to get a flight out of the country amid its conflict with Israel, a club source told Reuters, with Italian media reporting the 32-year-old will miss the Club World Cup. Iranian airspace was closed after Israel launched attacks on targets in Iran on Friday. Taremi played in Iran's 3-0 win over North Korea in a 2026 World Cup qualifier at the Azadi Stadium in Tehran last week. Inter begin their Club World Cup campaign on Tuesday, taking on Mexico's Monterrey in Pasadena followed by two games in Seattle against Urawa Red Diamonds of Japan and Argentina's River Plate. Taremi made 43 appearances in all competitions for Inter in the 2024-25 season, scoring three goals.

SIR CLIVE WOODWARD: Ben Youngs made the WRONG decision in the final knockings of Leicester's defeat by Bath, I could not understand it. But in many ways it summed up his career

Saturday's Gallagher Premiership final was there for Leicester to snatch. But, ultimately, the best team won. Bath deserved to claim victory in the one-off title decider and they also deserved to be league champions because they were the division's superior side throughout the league campaign. Hats off to them and their head of rugby Johann van Graan.

Dessers deal must mark a line in the sand for Rangers, writes GARY KEOWN... and an end to the Ibrox club being soft touches in the transfer market

Just under a year on, the figures still bring on a weary shake of the head. Five first-team squad members under contract shipped out the door. A grand total of £810,000 brought in for the lot in transfer fees. As an indication of just where Rangers ' reckless, scattergun approach to recruitment had been leading them, it didn't quite carry the same weight as letting Alfredo Morelos and Ryan Kent leave for nothing when there was once £30million of offers on the table. However, it was every bit as damning. Arguably, even more sobering.
