Cruz Beckham is reportedly preparing to launch his music career and is visiting the studio most days. The youngest of the Beckham sons, 20, who kickstarted his career when he was just 11 years old, has been working on new material and has his sights set on an official release later this year. And the budding musician has the full support of his girlfriend Jackie Apostel, 29, who is said to often join him at the studio. The Sun revealed: 'Cruz is in the studio most days and Jackie loves to join him when she's around. They have a shared passion for music. 'This is a really exciting time for Cruz. He's got people supporting him and guiding him, including Luke Pritchard from The Kooks, and the tunes he's coming up with are sounding really great.' Back in March it was revealed that Cruz was writing songs with British indie legends The Kooks. The band's frontman Luke told T he Sun how he was eager to help the youngster 'navigate' his future career in music. He told the publication: 'We started writing songs together and we've become mates. 'I'd just love to help him navigate [a career in music]. He's naturally going to come under criticism because of who his parents are - he's aware of that. Cruz reportedly signed with the top music management company C3, who worked with US indie group The Strokes, as well as Thirty Seconds To Mars. Meanwhile last month Cruz and Jackie performed a duet at David's 50th birthday party. Taking to the stage at London's esteemed restaurant Core, Jackie took to Instagram to share the heartwarming video as they belted out the song Victoria and David love for the crowds. The 1983 hit, by Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers, is well-known for being Victoria and David's favourite song and they danced to it at the end of the BECKHAM Netflix documentary. At the party, both Cruz and Jackie took on the vocals as they performed a melodic version of the popular song, while Cruz also played guitar. After finishing the song, Cruz leant in and gave Jackie a kiss on the neck while the crowds erupted into applause for the couple. Sharing the footage to Instagram, Jackie captioned the post: 'From 1 lova 2 anotha,' while Cruz added: 'Ah ahhhh,' both in reference to the song's famous lyrics. On the eve of David's 50th birthday, Victoria had also shared a video of her and her husband dancing along to the song. In the clip, they danced together to their favourite song Islands In The Stream, which has now become synonymous with the couple. She penned in the caption: 'Happy birthday eve @davidbeckham… my everything. My best friend, soul mate and dance partner for life. 'Like the song says. We start and end as one, In love forever, We can ride it together, ah ha I love you xxxxxxxxxx.'

Skepta admits he 'hates being famous' and 'dreams of going back to his normal life' as he teases his next album will be 'best he's ever made'
Skepta has admitted that despite his incredible global success, millions of fans and award wins, he 'hates being famous'. Since bursting on the scene with his debut album in 2007, the grime star, 42, has gone on to win the prestigious Mercury Prize and conquered the worlds of music, fashion, modelling and film. However, in a rare new interview with Dazed, the rapper has confessed to disliking the trappings of stardom and dreams 'of going back to my normal life'. Skepta, real name Joseph Junior Adenuga, told the publication: 'I don't care about fame. Really. I care about art. I care about making the best song. I care about people selecting my poetry as theirs. I hate being famous. 'I just feel like, whatever fame has brought me is what I've always had already, you know what I mean? The eyes, the judgment – I've always had that. In the early days it helped to toughen me up and prepare me for now. But I don't need it any more.' Even when I won the Mercury, I can see in my face that I didn't want to be that guy, because you only fall down from there, innit? 'I forever have my dream of going back to my normal life. When asked if he'd had a 'pinch me' moment or realised 'I've made it', he said: 'No [I haven't], I used to think that I would have it but I don't. He kicked off music his career in 2003 as a DJ for the Tottenham-based grime collective Meridian Crew, going on to MC shortly before they disbanded in 2005. Skepta and JME then joined Roll Deep for a short period of time before becoming founding members of Boy Better Know in 2005. His debut studio album, Greatest Hits, was released to much acclaim in 2007, while he followed up in 2009 with Microphone Champion and also released studio album Doin' It Again in 2011. The three-time Brit Award nominee's critically lauded fourth record, Konnichiwa, featured the hit singles That's Not Me and Shutdown, and won him the Mercury Prize in 2016. Amid a host of hit mixtapes and singles, Skepta also ventured in acting, making his movie debut in the 2015 crime drama Anti-Social, alongside Meghan Markle. While last year saw him make his directorial debut with Tribal Mark, a short film telling the story of a Nigerian-born hitman, played in part by Skepta and in part by Jude Carmichael. His last solo album was 2019's Ignorance Is Bliss, while he joined Chip and D Block Europe rapper Young Adz for a collaborative album called Insomnia in 2020.

Bryce Dallas Howard leads improv comics undercover in film 'Deep Cover'
LONDON, June 4 (Reuters) - "Jurassic World" actor Bryce Dallas Howard takes on London's criminal underworld in action comedy "Deep Cover," playing an improv teacher who goes undercover. The American stars as Kat, who along with her two students Marlon and Hugh, played by Orlando Bloom and Nick Mohammed, respectively, are recruited by a police cop to infiltrate a criminal gang. Never breaking character and sticking to their "yes and..." improv comedy rule, the trio soon find themselves inside London's threatening gangland. "The script was so tight, so fun and of course I related to it, being an actor myself," Howard told Reuters at the film's world premiere at the SXSW London festival on Wednesday. 'There was lots of giggling and lots of laughing," she added about making the movie. Released on Prime Video on June 12, "Deep Cover" sees Bloom, who shot to fame in "The Lord of the Rings" movies, play a committed method actor. "Ted Lasso" actor Mohammed portrays a lonely worker drawn to Kat's classes to gain confidence. "There are quite a lot of scenes ... that were just done in one take ... because you just need to have all of that energy ... pinging around between them (Howard, Bloom) and Mohammed," director Tom Kingsley said. "And they're all playing different characters to what you would normally expect." Asked if he tried to make Howard and Bloom laugh on set given his comedy background, Mohammed said: "I would play around a little bit ... changing some of the lines every so often. But ... they were just up for it." Apple TV+ has announced a fourth season of Emmy-winning comedy series "Ted Lasso," in which Jason Sudeikis played the American coach of upstart British football team AFC Richmond and Mohammed portrayed kitman-turned-coach Nate Shelley. Asked what he could say about season four, in which Lasso will coach a women's football team, Mohammed said: "I only know what's in the press at the moment ... I can't wait to see it. Who knows if Nate's in it ... we will see.' The inaugural SXSW London, the European edition of the annual Austin, Texas, South by Southwest music, technology and film festival, runs June 2-7.
