Easthampton issues parking ban for snow removal
EASTHAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP) – The city of Easthampton has announced that it will be issuing a parking ban on Monday for snow removal operations.
Where is the largest snowpack in New England?
The parking ban will be in place for all side streets off of Parsons Street from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Monday, February 24.
The Easthampton Police Department said that vehicles parked on these streets during the time at which the parking ban is in effect may be towed at the owner's expense.

Palmer to conduct hydrant testing on Randall Street
PALMER, Mass. (WWLP) – Palmer town officials shared that crews will be conducting hydrant tests Tuesday evening. Overnight ramp closure on I-91N ramp in Springfield on Tuesday Palmer Water District #1 announced that hydrant testing will take place on Randall Street after 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The surrounding areas will be flushed to clear the lines overnight. Residents are being reminded that these activities may cause temporary discoloration in water, and that hot water use should be avoided during hydrant testing. You should not drink water or run laundry while it is discolored. On Wednesday morning, it is recommended that cold water be run for a few minutes in order to clear the lines. Chris spoke with students in the 5th and 6th grade about all things weather.
