Streaming service Apple TV+ has greenlit "The Studio", a satirical series exploring the inner workings of Hollywood, for a second season. The renewal comes two weeks ahead of the show's season finale, which is set for May 21."The Studio" features Seth Rogen as Matt Remick, a movie executive who is elevated to president of a floundering film production company called Continental Studios ."A self-described cinephile, Matt struggles to balance Continental's corporate aims in an increasingly IP-driven entertainment landscape with his own ambition to produce quality films," according to the official synopsis.Rogen has co-created the series with Evan Goldberg co-created the series with Peter Huyck, Alex Gregory and Frida Perez."We're thrilled to be making a second season of 'The Studio'. We're looking forward to taking the lived experience of making season one and immediately putting it into season two, then repeating that loop for 10 more seasons."And, we're excited to keep all our industry friends and colleagues guessing as to when one of their personal stories will stream on Apple TV+," Rogen and Goldberg said in a statement.Matt Cherniss, head of programming for Apple TV+, called "The Studio" a brilliant show."It has been incredible to watch the conversation grow with each new episode. We can't wait to see where Matt Remick takes Continental Studios in season two, and hope for his sake that the 'Kool-Aid' movie crushes at the box office," he added. The show's cast also include Catherine O'Hara, Ike Barinholtz, Chase Sui Wonders, and Kathryn Hahn. The series also features a lineup of cameos from some of Hollywood's most iconic actors, directors and producers, including Bryan Cranston, Paul Dano, Martin Scorsese, Ted Sarandos, Charlize Theron, Ron Howard, Anthony Mackie, Steve Buscemi, and Olivia Wilde.

‘Shah Rukh Khan is probably the one I know the most and really enjoy working with': Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos

It's no surprise that Shah Rukh Khan is a great host. Members of the film industry, from budding actors to seasoned filmmakers, have often heaped praises on how special Shah Rukh makes one feel at home despite his towering stature. A recent addition to this list of Shah Rukh Khan admirers is Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos. When asked if he has a favourite creator in India, Sarandos clarified that he works with so many that it's unfair to pick one, just like you can't pick your favourite child from all your babies. 'But I have to tell you, early in coming to India, I met Shah Rukh Khan right away. He hosted a very nice little dinner for me, and we just hit it off immediately,' revealed Sarandos. He added on Nikhil Kamath's podcast how he and his wife have had 'nice times together' with Shah Rukh Khan whenever they've visited India hence. 'We visited each other in Los Angeles when his son was in school. So having dinner with Shah Rukh Khan in India is much different than having dinner with him in Los Angeles. I'd say that's probably someone I know the most and really enjoy working with,' added Sarandos. Shah Rukh Khan's elder son Aryan Khan studied fine arts in film and television production at the University of South Carolina in Los Angeles. He graduated back in 2020. Aryan will now make his debut as the creator, writer, director, and showrunner of the show The B***ds of Bollywood, which is produced by his father's banner Red Chillies Entertainment, and will stream on Netflix India this year. 'I've watched the first two episodes so far. It's very funny. I think people in India and people outside of India know nothing about the inner workings of Bollywood. So it's a really fun world. He's (Aryan) a very good director,' said Sarandos on The B***ds of Bollywood. While the details of the cast of the show is kept under wraps, its synopsis on Netflix states: 'In this high-stakes drama, an ambitious outsider and his friends navigate the chaotic, larger-than-life, yet uncertain world of Bollywood.' Also Read: Will Aryan Khan's show The Ba***ds of Bollywood be to India what Seth Rogen's The Studio is to Hollywood? The B***ds of Bollywood isn't Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment's first collaboration with Netflix India. Previously, they've teamed up on Ribhu Dasgupta's 2019 spy thriller show Bard of Blood, starring Emraan Hashmi, Kriti Kulhari and Vineet Kumar Singh, and Patrick Graham's 2020 zombie horror show Betaal, starring Singh and Aahana Kumra.

Ballerina X Reviews: Action-Packed John Wick Spin-Off Gets A Thumbs Up

Last Updated: Directed by Len Wiseman, the movie recently had its premiere, and the early reviews have been positive. After four exciting John Wick movies with Keanu Reeves, the creators decided to expand the story with a new show called The Continental. Now, two years later, a new spin-off titled Ballerina is ready to hit theatres. Ballerina, the first spinoff film in the franchise, takes place between the events of John Wick: Chapter 3—Parabellum and John Wick: Chapter 4. Directed by Len Wiseman, the movie recently had its premiere, and the early reviews on X (Formerly Twitter) have been very positive. Even Mission: Impossible- The Final Reckoning star and de Armas's rumoured partner, Tom Cruise, praised the film. The story takes place after the third film, where Wick was last seen falling from the Continental's rooftop. In the fourth movie, he met the High Table and was believed to have died. While Reeves's character plays a cameo in Ballerina, the main focus will be on Eve Macarro, played by de Armas. She's a skilled fighter who goes on a journey to take revenge for her father's death. To prepare, she trains with the deadly Ruska Roma group. While promoting the final Mission Impossible movie last month, Tom Crusie, who saw the movie earlier, said, 'I saw the movie, it just kicks ass, it's right in that tone, it's right in that Wick world, you're gonna love it." Following the recent premiere of Ballerina, a user wrote, 'This movie is hot. Ballerina delivers the year's best action; one sequence in particular is a fist-pumping inferno. Ana de Armas fits seamlessly into this world as Eve and gives us a spin-off done right. I'm going to need more Ballerina. 'Fight like a girl'." The action is brutal and thrilling. I'm ready for more of Ana de Armas' Eve. Give her a trilogy. And of course, Keanu Reeves kills it as John Wick." #BallerinaMovie is an excellent expansion of the JOHN WICK franchise. Ana de Armas kicks so much ass, and in such creative ways. Ana de Armas doesn't just dance, she kills it," a comment read. Ana de Armas mows down nameless faces with jaw-dropping gun-fu and grenade-fueled chaos that'll leave your pulse racing. A few story-related elements fall short, but John Wick's cameo never overshadows our central heroine, whose classic revenge quest carries the right amount of intensity. This is the spin-off we didn't know we needed, and I'd love to see more." #Ballerina doesn't just earn its place in the John Wick universe… it explodes onto the scene like a perfectly timed grenade, expanding Wick's world beautifully. Fans will also see Anjelica Huston as the Director, Ian McShane as Winston Scott and the late Lance Reddick as Charon. Norman Reedus joins as Daniel Pine, and Gabriel Byrne plays the main villain, the Chancellor, who uses an entire town to try and stop Eve. The movie is scheduled to release on June 13.
