Miss Eggy is back and men ain't what?
Amid a whirlwind Season 50 finale episode featuring a traditional Weekend Update joke swap, the Saturday Night Live anchor desk also saw the triumphant return of crowd favorite Miss Eggy, an ebullient and pun-filled comedic alter ego of MVP Ego Nwodim's.

This time, the comedienne was asked back to comment on Newark's airport safety, acting out a bit while on a JetBlue flight. 'You know her, you love her, you got her fined by the FCC,' Jost introduced, as Nwodim's character quickly got down to brass tacks about the real problem plaguing travel: bad airplane cuisine.
Ever the wordsmith and whip-smart as always, Miss Eggy refused the butternut squash ravioli, telling the attendant, 'more like, better-not offer me that mess 'till you put some meat in it,' punctuating the statement with her signature 'sucka!'
She added in a separate one-liner about dry Biscoff cookies: 'More like you about to piss a bisc-off.'
Another top contender: 'Flight attendant saying the only sandwich they got on this plane is a turkey pesto on ciabatta. All I know is this bitch ci-boutta lose her life. That bread was harder than my man when I get out the tub; his name's Maurice, but I call him Tray, because he stay in the upright and locked position.'
Miss Eggy's other gripe? 'And y'all went and took peanuts off the plane because everybody wanna have an allergy. If you don't take a Benadryl and shut your gay ass up.'
'And how about that TSA, huh? Putting on them Papa Smurf gloves, thinking they can feel me up just because I got a gun,' she said, as she prompted the audience for another call-and-response. While the crowd accurately shouted-out earlier that Miss Eggy don't 'play,' it was remiss to respond 'strapped' when she asked, 'Cause Miss Eggy stay what?'
Nwodim concluded her time with a truly terrific Eggs Benedict pun, and based on audience response, it seems the midsize bag-carrying problematic auntie comic is welcome to the anchor desk anytime.

The best movies coming to Netflix in June, from Hitchcock classics to a doc on the OceanGate disaster

Whether it's films from the Master of Suspense or must-watch documentaries, there are a lot of movies to stream on Netflix in June. Six Alfred Hitchcock classics (June 1) A half-dozen of Hitchcock's titles are available on the streamer. These include some of the works that would solidify him as the Master of Suspense, like "The Birds," "Rear Window," and "Vertigo." If you've never seen a Hitchcock movie or need a refresher on his mastery, this is a perfect way to start. Titles available: "The Birds" "Family Plot" "Frenzy" "The Man Who Knew Too Much" "Rear Window" "Vertigo" "Barbarian" (June 1) If Hitchcock movies don't deliver the chills you crave, check out Zach Cregger's acclaimed horror, which follows a young woman's twisted journey when she realizes the Airbnb she booked is nothing like what it seems. "The Blues Brothers" (June 1) This beloved musical comedy is based on the characters created by original "SNL" cast members Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi. Director John Landis crafts an entertaining road trip movie as brothers Elwood (Aykroyd) and Jake (Belushi) Blues sing the blues, break hearts, and con their way across the country to fulfill their mission from God. "Focus" (June 1) Will Smith and Margot Robbie headline this clever dramedy, in which Smith plays a career con artist who takes an aspiring crook (Robbie) under his wing. They get romantically involved, which complicates things years later when the two reconnect on a high-stakes job. "The Great Outdoors" (June 1) With summer around the corner, it's a perfect time to watch this hit 1980s comedy starring Dan Aykroyd and John Candy as two dads who try to give their families a great vacation in very different ways. "Now You See Me" (June 1) Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher, Dave Franco, and Morgan Freeman star in this heist movie as a team of illusionists who use their sleight-of-hand skills to commit elaborate robberies. The sequel is also available to stream now. "The Town" (June 1) If you're looking for a more grounded heist movie, check out Ben Affleck 's beloved crime thriller in which he and Jeremy Renner lead a Boston-based bank robbing crew who put together one final score: robbing Fenway Park. "Us" (June 1) Jordan Peele's twisted horror stars Lupita Nyong'o as a woman who learns that she and her family are being hunted by doppelgängers who want to take over their lives. "Piece by Piece" (June 7) Pharrell Williams gets the biopic treatment, but in typical outside-the-box fashion for the multi-hyphenate, his life and career are recounted in Lego animation. "Trainwreck: The Astroworld Tragedy" (June 10) On a November night in 2021, thousands watched Travis Scott perform at his own music festival, Astroworld. It ended horrifically with 10 dead and many wondering how an evening of joy could result in such terror. This documentary investigates the night, focusing on the survivors, paramedics, and security that were at the center of the crowd crush. "Titan: The OceanGate Disaster" (June 11) In 2023, a submersible known as Titan suddenly imploded while doing a deep-sea dive to the Titanic, killing all on board. Though at first many questioned how this could happen, over time, it was revealed just how unsafe the journey was. This documentary examines the bold vision of OceanGate founder Stockton Rush and why the trip was so dangerous.

Boston Rob Turned Down ‘Survivor 50' Offer Because ‘I Wanted My Spot to Go to Someone Who Deserved Another Chance,' Tells Fans: ‘Don't Be Mad'

'Survivor' announced its cast this week for the show's 50th season, but not every fan was too pleased with who got invited to come back. While the return of 'The White Lotus' creator Mike White and fan favorites like Cirie Fields and Ozzy Lusth generated excitement, the omission of iconic players like Rob Mariano (aka Boston Rob), Parvati Shallow and more left many fans scratching their heads as they wondered why so many players from older seasons of 'Survivor' were not included. Boston Rob, whose reality show career has flourished in recent years with appearances on 'The Traitors' and more, has now taken to Instagram to explain his absence from 'Survivor 50.' It turns out the show did ask him to return, but he made the decision to opt out in order to give other players their chance to return to the 'Survivor' spotlight. I got all of your DM's and messages so so many thank you all!! But literally don't be mad,' Boston Rob wrote in a message to fans. ''Survivor' and Jeff Probst early on they called and asked… I just felt like I have played so many times and I am truly fulfilled with my 'Survivor' journey. I wanted my spot to go to someone else that deserved another chance!' 'I've gotten so much out of 'Survivor,'' he added. 'It will always be a part of who I am! I'm eternally grateful. Like I said ..It's gonna be OK. I feel like something good is coming!!!' Boston Rob is one of 'Survivor's' most prolific contestants and the only one to compete on five seasons of the show. He debuted in Season 4, 'Survivor: Marquesas,' and placed 10th, before returning for the first time in Season 8's 'Survivor: All-Stars' and being the runner-up. He appeared on 'Survivors: Heroes vs. Villains' (13th place) and won 'Survivor: Redemption' before serving as a mentor on 'Survivor: Island.' His last appearance on the show was Season 40, 'Survivor: Winners at War.' 'Survivor 50' will feature 24 returning players and will premiere on CBS in Spring 2026. The milestone anniversary season promises to 'push the series into uncharted territory and impact the players like never before.' For the first time, the game is also being planned by the fans. Earlier this year, fans were able to vote on key elements of the game, including on whether there will be idols, whether fire making will remain and whether the live finale and reunion show will return in Los Angeles. The 'Survivor 50' contestants will compete for a $1 million cash prize. See the full 'Survivor 50' cast here.
