With college football stars having a larger platform than ever before, fans around the sport have a chance to get to know them on a personal level of sorts.

Whether it's via TikTok dances, podcasts or vlogs, there has never been an era of athlete that is as in the spotlight as the ones today. However, arguably the biggest name in all of college football may be the most mysterious player in the country.
Texas quarterback Arch Manning is heading into his first season as the starter, but thanks to his lineage that also features Super Bowl champs Peyton and Eli Manning, fans have been looking out for him since his senior year at Isidore Newman School in New Orleans.
Although he is a huge name, he isn't very active on social media, and anytime he has spoken to the media, has been very buttoned up.
On Thursday, fans were able to see a new side of Manning thanks to a video shared to TikTok by wide receiver Parker Livingstone.

The two former blue-chip recruits were partaking in the TikTok trend that sees people call a friend and tell them that they are calling to say goodnight. After Livingstone called receiver Aaron Butler, Manning called safety Derek Williams.
While Butler seemed to not be aware of the trend, Williams caught on right away.
"Aye Bruh," Willaims said. "You over here with your little TikTok trend."

While it may be goofy to some, it can certainly serve as a form of team bonding for Manning who has been the understudy to Miami Dolphins quarterback Quinn Ewers for the past two years.
Despite being the backup this past season, Manning started two games and also ended up being used as a wildcat quarterback at the end of the season. He ended the year with 939 yards passing and nine touchdowns through the air, and four on the ground.

His first start of 2025 will come at Ohio State in a game that will have ESPN's "College GameDay" in attendance, and air on Fox's "Big Noon."

Brandon Beane, the Bills' general manager, spoke out recently with a new update on Cook and the contract situation the two sides are facing. "Our interactions with Jimbo have been good the whole time throughout," Beane said. "I know he wasn't here (earlier this offseason), so everyone just draws their own conclusions. When you're talking about it, it's voluntary. We know that, we've had (players miss) it before, even with players who weren't lobbying for a new contract or anything like that." Basically, Beane does not seem too worried about the team's current status with Cook. He didn't touch on anything to do with potential progress with the running back, but he doesn't see any major situations to worry about right now. During the 2024 NFL season with Buffalo, Cook played in 16 games. He carried the football 207 times for 1,009 yards and 16 touchdowns, averaging 4.9 yards per carry. In addition, he caught 32 passes for 258 yards and two more scores.
