Walton Goggins and Aimee Lou Wood reveal never-before-seen White Lotus sex scene as they quash feud rumors

Walton Goggins and Aimee Lou Wood have spilled the details of their saucy never-before seen sex scene that got cut from The White Lotus. The juicy tidbit came during a bizarre interview in which they finally addressed the feud rumors between them, which hit an all-time high after they unfollowed each other on Instagram. Months after feverish speculation that the White Lotus costars had a strained relationship, Goggins, 53, got emotional as he insisted they were on good terms. 'There is no feud. I adore, I love this woman madly, and she is so important to me,' he insisted during a joint interview for Variety's Actors on Actors series. At another point in their back-and-forth, the pair raised the curtain on the steamy onstream relationship between their characters - including one tantalizing moment that never made it to the airwaves. In the cut sequence, the characters apparently met up with one another at the beach, returned to their bedroom to talk over the state of their equation and then made love. 'We designed the whole journey, even down to the fact that Chelsea gets on Rick in the first [love] scene. Then in the last episode, it was Rick picking Chelsea up. It was so, so delicate,' Wood explained. Goggins shared that the scene gave the sense of 'two people who were free,' juxtaposed with the first scene, which indicated their bond. 'It was this very long, suspended moment of these two people looking at each other. It was so powerful,' added the The Hateful Eight actor. Demonstrating his cheeky sense of humor, Goggins also offered a message to The White Lotus creator Mike White: 'F*** you, Mike! We want a director's cut!' Goggins, who has been married to Nadia Conners since 2011, sang Wood's praises as he raved: 'This is Goldie Hawn. This is Meg Ryan. She can do anything, and she will.' 'You watch what the next 20 years of her experience will be. I'll be on an island, I think Greece. But she's special. There is no feud. She is love and I know that I am that to her. We care about each other very deeply,' he continued. Wood proceeded to address the outrage over headlines that Goggins unfollowed her on social media, which fans perceived as a sign they did not get along. 'I think it's such a comment on where we're at culturally,' she said over the online fury. 'Why is everyone obsessing over Instagram? That is irrelevant. We don't give a s**t about Instagram.' Wood explained she wished more people were having 'conversations about the story' of their White Lotus characters, Rick and Chelsea, and simply enjoying the show. As rumors swirled about them, Wood revealed she initially wanted to correct people, but feared her words would get twisted. 'Eventually I just started to sit back and watch these people making something out of absolutely nothing,' she said of why she stayed silent. Goggins chimed in to say: 'If I may add, just to put this to bed? The following or unfollowing. I'm a grown-a** man.' The star went on to confess that he has historically struggled with goodbyes. For example, Goggins recalled hugging his former Justified costar Tim Olyphant and telling him: 'I love you, and I hope I see you in rooms for the rest of my life.' 'I didn't talk to him for almost two years. I've done that with every single thing that I've done,' he admitted. Goggins then claimed had he been following Olyphant or his The Shield co-star Michael Chiklis that he would have unfollowed them too. The juicy tidbit came during a bizarre interview in which they finally addressed the feud rumors between them, for Variety's Actors On Actors Seeing the humor in the situation, Goggins declared: 'You know what? I'll follow you right now!' 'It's all so ridiculous,' he quipped. 'It's just a part of me just saying goodbye to this character so that now Aimee and I will be friends for f**king ever.' In response, Wood gave him a hug and says: 'I completely understand.' 'I love you,' he declares, before tearfully explaining he is 'emotional' because they 'haven't been in the same city to ever talk about any of this.' 'Hopefully that answers everybody's questions,' he concludes. 'What else? Do you guys want to talk about astrology?' Wrapping production on The White Lotus, which was filmed in Thailand over a period of seven months, was a particularly painful experience for him. Following the death of his first wife Leanne Goggins, who died by suicide in 2004, Goggins searched for peace through traveling. This led him to Thailand, then to Bangkok, in the same location as The White Lotus. 'My catharsis in this experience was different than other people's, because of my history in this place. I knew what we had gone through, and I knew how close that we had gotten, and I needed to begin to process saying goodbye to Rick and Chelsea,' Goggins explained through tears. He continued: 'And I knew that that was going to take a while for me, so I let her know, this is what I've gotta do. And she was extremely supportive about that.' 'I needed to just back away from everyone,' he said. 'I haven't spoken to anyone. I couldn't handle it. Judge me or don't. I don't give a f**k what you think. This is my process. Rick means everything to me, and Chelsea means everything to me.' Goggins and Wood portrayed star-crossed lovers Rick and Chelsea on the latest season of the HBO show, with both their characters dying in the dramatic final episode.

The 2026 Silverado EV Trail Boss Makes a Strong Case for Off-Road Electric Trucks

Trail Boss joins the 2026 Chevrolet Silverado EV lineup Off-roading and electric trucks have generally been a mixed bag, but one automaker plans to rectify that for the 2026 model year. The Chevrolet Silverado EV is a top contender among electric trucks, but a new trim level will take the American manufacturer's pickup off the beaten path like never before. Much like on the Colorado and Silverado pickups, the Trail Boss trim provides consumers interested in a Silverado EV with a model dedicated to off-roading, and plenty of range to boot. 2026 Chevrolet Silverado EV Trail Boss — Source: Chevrolet 'The Silverado EV Trail Boss delivers similar capability expected with other Chevy Trail Bosses,' said Joe Roy, chief engineer for the Silverado EV. 'It's an impressive truck that will meet the needs of our customers looking to get off-trail and still have all the features customers have come to love about Silverado EV, including range and off-road power.' The 2026 Silverado EV Trail Boss is made for the great outdoors The Chevrolet Silverado EV is already plenty capable and customizable, with three trims and battery packs to choose from. For the 2026 model year, Chevrolet is retiring the RST trim, with the Trail Boss taking its place atop the lineup. The Trail Boss model offers a higher level of capability in off-road conditions, with 24% higher ground clearance than the standard Silverado EV. Terrain mode is exclusive to the Trail Boss trim, providing drivers with more control over torque and traction at low speeds. 2026 Chevrolet Silverado EV Trail Boss — Source: Chevrolet While Sidewinder mode might seem ideal for parallel parking over all else, the system could prove useful in off-road adventures. Sidewinder mode turns all four wheels in the same direction, allowing the truck to move diagonally, albeit at low speeds. That can be especially useful if you happen to get stuck on the trails. When equipped with the Max Range battery pack, the Silverado EV Trail Boss boasts up to 725 horsepower and 775 lb-ft of torque, with the capability to tow up to 12,500 lbs. and haul 2,100 lbs. 2026 Chevrolet Silverado EV Trail Boss — Source: Chevrolet The 2026 Chevrolet Silverado EV Trail Boss features several trim-exclusive features that help the electric truck look the part while adding a touch more versatility. In addition to a two-inch lift, the EV rides on 18-inch wheels wrapped in 35-inch all-terrain tires complemented by a high-angle approach front fascia. The off-road electric pickup has a 19.2-degree breakover angle, 25.1-degree departure angle, and a total of 10 inches of ground clearance. Red front tow hooks add to the truck's utility, and a unique interior matches the athletic aesthetic. 2026 Chevrolet Silverado EV starts at $54,895 The 2026 Chevrolet Silverado EV comes in three trim levels, with the base Work Truck (WT) starting at $54,895 MSRP. At that price, the Silverado EV boasts up to 286 miles of range, while upgrading to the Extended battery pack boosts range to 424 miles. Opting for the Max battery pack increases the Silverado EV WT's range to 493 miles on a single charge, but it'll cost you $76,295 MSRP. Regardless of the battery pack, the Silverado EV WT features 510 horsepower. When equipped with the standard battery pack, the base Silverado EV WT produces 490 lb-ft of torque, while upgrading the battery increases torque to 580 lb-ft. 2026 Chevrolet Silverado EV Trail Boss — Source: Chevrolet The LT trim starts at $62,995 MSRP and features a 283-mile range. The mid-tier Extended battery increases range to 410 miles on a single charge. When equipped with the Max battery, the Silverado EV LT can go up to 478 miles, but it'll cost you $91,295. In terms of power, the LT-Max battery combination tops out at 760 horsepower and 765 lb-ft of torque. The Trail Boss trim tops the lineup and starts at $72,095 MSRP. Unlike in the WT and LT models, the Trail Boss comes with a standard Extended battery pack and a 410-mile range. Upgrading to the Max battery increases range to 478 miles to the tune of $88,695 MSRP. 2026 Chevrolet Silverado EV Trail Boss — Source: Chevrolet Regardless of trim level, all Silverado EV models feature up to 10.2 kW of off-board power. A 17.7-inch infotainment display comes standard on all three trim levels, as does an 11-inch driver information display. The LT and Trail Boss trims are available with a multi-flex midgate and WOW mode (Wide Open Watts) that maximizes performance. The Chevrolet Silverado EV also features DC fast charging up to 350 kW, with the capability to charge up to 100 miles in 10 minutes. Ford and Chevy tire-to-tire Electric trucks offer a blend of innovation, capability, and performance, but not all models can compete with the best. Ford and Chevrolet are iconic in the American pickup scene, and their legacy in truck manufacturing is unmatched. While there are other emerging automakers making steady progress, Chevrolet and Ford are still the truck segment's fiercest rivals. 2025 Ford F-150 Lightning Lariat — Source: Ford The base Ford F-150 Lightning starts at $62,995 MSRP. At that price, the F-150 Lightning XLT features dual electric motors that generate 452 horsepower and a towing capacity that tops out at 7,700 lbs. when properly equipped. As far as range goes, the F-150 Lightning XLT can travel an EPA-estimated 240 miles on a single charge. At its most capable, the F-150 Lightning Lariat features 580 horsepower, a 320-mile range, and a 10,000-lb. maximum towing capacity. That versatility will cost you just shy of $77,000, though. 2025 Chevrolet Silverado EV — Source: Chevrolet By all accounts, the Chevrolet Silverado EV has the F-150 Lightning on the ropes. Not only does Chevy's electric pickup undercut Ford's offering by $8,100, but it also offers 286 miles of range and 510 horsepower in base form. With the introduction of the Trail Boss trim, the Chevy Silverado EV tacks on another win over the F-150 Lightning, which lacks a dedicated off-road model. The base Trail Boss model starts at $72,095 with 625 horsepower and a 410-mile range. Final thoughts Electric trucks have come a long way in just a few years, and with a range nearing 500 miles on a single charge, the Chevrolet Silverado EV may end up leading its segment for years to come. The introduction of the Trail Boss trim marks another major milestone for Chevy's electric truck, with versatility that only a few rivals can match. At this point, there's little doubt that the American automaker's continued innovation is raising the standards as to what consumers can expect in an electric pickup. Why Stellantis and Amazon Axed Their SmartCockpit Partnership

The car conglomerate and e-commerce and tech giant were slated to release an in-car infotainment system by 2024. A product made for the future Back in January 2022, Stellantis, the multinational automaker that is the parent company of American brands like Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram, as well as European powerhouses like Fiat, Alfa Romeo, and Maserati, announced a multiyear agreement revolving primarily around in-cabin software. The main product from the Amazon-Stellantis link-up was called SmartCockpit, a 'software-defined platform' that was intended to 'seamlessly integrate with customers' digital lives' and ship in global Stellantis vehicles by 2024. 0:04 / 0:09 Audi A5 replaces A4: So, what's changed? Watch More Reuters: Stellantis and Amazon's SmartCockpit is no more However, a new report from Reuters confirms that Amazon's deal with Stellantis to create this software is sunsetting after it missed the 2024 deadline. In a statement sent to the newswire, neither Stellantis nor Amazon told Reuters exactly why they had come to the decision. Still, they noted that each company would continue on its separate path. 'Stellantis remains a valuable partner for Amazon, and the companies continue to work together on a range of initiatives,' the two companies wrote in a statement to Reuters. They added that the break 'will allow each team to focus on solutions that provide value to our shared customers and better align with our evolving strategies.' Amazon, Stellantis had big goals for SmartCockpit The goal of SmartCockpit was to turn ordinary Chryslers, Dodges, Jeeps, Rams, as well as Fiats, Alfa Romeos, and Maseratis, into software-defined vehicles like those of rivals like Tesla, Rivian, and BYD. In Stellantis's 2022 release announcing and detailing its plans to develop SmartCockpit, the two companies said that the software in Stellantis-branded cars will 'seamlessly integrate with customers' digital lives to create personalized, intuitive in-vehicle experiences through AI-enhanced applications for entertainment, Alexa-enabled voice assistance, navigation, vehicle maintenance, ecommerce marketplaces, and payment services.' The 'STLA SmartCockpit platform,' as it was called, would use purpose-built Amazon products for Stellantis, integrate Amazon's Echo and Alexa smart home and security ecosystem, and create a smartphone-like in-car software experience tailored for specific vehicles and their owners. 'For example, Chrysler Pacifica vehicles could offer a family-trip planner that recommends media content, points of interest, restaurants, and other fun stops along the route,' Stellantis said. ' Jeep® vehicles could come with a digital off-road 'coach' to help customers calibrate the vehicle and optimize performance before tackling tough terrain.' At the time, then-Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares called the Amazon partnership 'an integral part of our capability building roadmap,' adding that Amazon's tech prowess would help transform the driving experience of its vehicles. 'By leveraging artificial intelligence and cloud solutions, we will transform our vehicles into personalized living spaces and enhance the overall customer experience, making our vehicles the most wanted, most captivating place to be, even when not driving,' Tavares said. Final thoughts The end of this partnership comes as Stellantis enters a transition period following the tenure of Carlos Tavares, with the newly appointed CEO, Antonio Filosa, taking the helm in June. I think that the rather quiet realization of the end of this partnership goes to show that Stellantis is prioritizing its approach going forward. That being said, the fact that we are in the era of the software-defined vehicle is rather interesting, especially considering that companies like Google (with Google Built-in) and Apple's CarPlay Ultra are making their way to dominate every screen on dashboards. If it came to light, having Amazon in the mix would have been a very left-field option. About the Author James Ochoa View Profile
