Meaning behind Declan Cleary's NSFW comment about eliminated favourite Beau Cook on MasterChef revealed
MasterChef Australia: Back to Win fans were left devastated on Sunday when favourite Beau Cook was eliminated from the competition.
But his mate and fellow contestant Declan Cleary lifted the mood with what appeared a raunchy joke about being 'featured' in the firefighter's next cookbook.
The judges and stars appeared to be in the know, but some viewers may not have realised just what the scandalous comment meant - until now.
Beau, 40, first appeared on MasterChef in 2012 where he finished in eighth place on season four - the same year current judge Andy Allen was crowned the winner.
In the following years, Beau made a name for himself in the food industry and even wrote the raunchy Food Porn Cookbook in 2017.

The blurb on the back reads: 'The cookbook that brings together our favourite preoccupations: FOOD AND SEX.
'40 DELICIOUS RECIPES paired with naked bodies & hilarious innuendo... The perfect gift for foodies or those who have a cheeky sense of humour.
'Let's start with the hors d'oeuvres: Take equal portions of great ingredients and beautiful bodies. Stir well. Leave for an hour or so to soak.
'Knock discreetly before entering the kitchen,' the blurb finished, with the book featuring several pictures of naked couples.
Co-star Declan, 27, made reference to the cheeky book on Sunday as Beau was sent home after he failed to impress the judges with his spin on a 'spider' drink.
'Gonna miss my mate, Beau, for sure. We really clicked from day one. He's been an awesome mate to hang out with,' Declan began,
'But I know he'll go home and working on cookbook volume two. As long as I get a featured in the next one.'
The judges and remaining cooks burst into stunned laughter over the racy joke before giving their farewells to Beau.
Beau was sent home on Sunday when he failed to impress the judges in the 'childhood classics' challenge.
His dish was an attempt to recreate a 'spider', a favourite from his boyhood, made up of ice cream and cola.
However, Beau added a unique twist to the dessert combining rum, roasted macadamia crumble, vanilla ice cream, stewed sour cherries and cola flavoured granita.
But the combination of flavours fell flat for the judges who felt the dish did not quite capture the magic of an authentic 'spider'.
During the elimination, judge Andy Allen said while Beau's dish was enjoyable it 'really missed the mark on recreating that childhood joy we were after'.
After listening to the disappointing verdict, Beau was asked by judge Sofia Levin whether he had surprised himself during the competition.
'Not getting booted off first,' Beau joked and added: 'The best bits have been hanging out with these guys.
'Looking back now, I should have just made a spider. I should have made a fizzy cola and dunked the ice cream in there.'
'That would have been so much more playful and simple, and I think that would've got me across the line,' he told 10Play later.
He also revealed he was out to release an alcoholic hard lemon drink from all-natural ingredients called Wildpoint in July.
'That's the passion project. For me, I love cooking for family and friends, but it's not a career... I love food and produce, so making something like Wildpoint is really exciting.'

Hannah Hollis' shock career move: Popular Aussie TV presenter announces sudden departure from Fox Sports after 10 years
Hannah Hollis has revealed her shock new career move, announcing she is stepping away from her presenter role at Fox Sports. The Aussie TV presenter, who has been working for the sports broadcaster for 10 years, will continue fronting lifestyle show Luxury Escapes, which is currently being produced by Foxtel. The 36-year-old's final broadcast will be on Sunday as she covers the Suncorp Super Netball. This won't be Hannah's first time on Luxury Escapes. She has already featured on the second season of the popular travel show. The program, which first aired in 2016, gives viewers a glimpse into some of the best holiday experiences across the globe, as well as our very own backyard. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Hannah opened up to about the career move after having just returned from a luxury escape in the US. 'I've been to some of the most beautiful places around the world experiencing wild indulgence, adventure, food, art and culture all steeped in local tradition,' she said. 'It's a joy to share stories like this.' Despite the complete 180 from sport to travel, Hannah assured her fans she wasn't turning her back on her passion for the field, but instead hoped to blend the two in the future. 'My time with Fox Sports and Foxtel — and the opportunities I've enjoyed over the past decade — have further fuelled my ambition,' she said. She added that it felt like the perfect time to step out of her comfort zone and explore broader possibilities within the media landscape. It comes after a new shot was fired by Fox Sports in the broadcaster's increasingly bitter footy war with Channel Seven. This year, Fox is the only way footy fans across most of Australia can watch games on a Saturday for large parts of the season due to a change in the league's broadcasting agreement. It's a move that has infuriated footy fans and left a big dent in Seven's coverage, which has been bolstered by its huge investment in AFL panel shows with the likes of Kane Cornes and Caroline Wilson. This is also the first year viewers have had the option of watching every game on Fox, with the pay TV giant's commentators covering every match, with ratings jumping by a huge amount as a result. Seven star Brian Taylor has been taking pot shots at Fox by reminding fans that they don't always send their commentary crews to matches and instead have them cover the games from the studio, whereas he and his colleagues are always at the ground. Fox recently hit back by launching an ad showing a Taylor lookalike banging on the door of a pub when he couldn't get inside to watch footy on a Saturday. That has crossed a line with Seven, with a staffer at the broadcaster hitting the commercial with the 'disrespectful' tag, according to The Age.

Why Aussie cricket legend should regret using a one-word insult to attack rival star - even though it used to be a compliment down under
Aussie cricket legend Ian Healy is eating his words following his astonishing attack on West Indies paceman Shamar Joseph ahead of the first Test where he declared the quick 'isn't Curtly Ambrose' - then called him 'champ'. Speaking on SEN Radio, a fired-up Healy responded to Joseph warning Aussie Sam Konstas to 'look out' in Barbados. 'OK Shamar, well you've delivered crap all year,' Healy said on Tuesday. 'So he better improve, that's what I'm saying. 'You're not Curtly Ambrose, champ.' Joseph left Healy red-faced after snaring four wickets in the first innings, including the scalps of Konstas, Usman Khawaja, Cameron Green and all-rounder Beau Webster - then backing that up by clean-bowling Konstas in his second stint at the crease. The Guyanese star earlier described Aussie young gun Konstas as a 'stylish player'. As many Aussies will attest to, being labelled 'champ' is an insult these days - although it used to be a compliment. In a recent TikTok video, a staff member from the Manly NRL team playfully labelled a number of footy stars 'champ' at the end of a conversation to gauge their reaction. 'What do you mean?,' forward Jazz Tevaga demanded. 'Why are you calling me 'champ' for?' Others, including Ben Trbojevic, Tommy Talau and Lachlan Croker, also got their backs up after hearing the word. NRL players aren't the only ones objecting to its use, with American-born AFL star Mason Cox also noticing it in his line of work. 'You want to know the one word in the Australian language that will upset anyone?' he asked in TikTok video. 'The word starts with a C - you might think I've used it before, but the word is "champ".' Healy's attack came after Joseph said he admired the teenager's fearlessness at the crease during his Test debut last December at the MCG against India. Asked if he thought Konstas would produce his trademark ramp shots in the Caribbean, Joseph responded with: 'Well, that's up to him. I will do my part.' Joseph, 25, announced himself to the cricket world in stunning fashion last January. In just his second Test, Joseph finished with six wickets in an incredible 10-over spell as Australia failed to chase down 216 in Brisbane. He finished with figures of 7-68 as the visitors won by eight runs at the Gabba, in what was their first victory on Australian soil in 27 years.

Jackie 'O' Henderson reveals jaw-dropping amount spent on cigarettes in two months: 'It's probably time to give up'
Jackie 'O' Henderson shocked listeners on Thursday morning when she admitted the jaw-dropping sum she spent stocking up on menthol cigarettes. The KIIS FM star, who has a reported net worth of $50million, admitted she's spent a whopping $17,000 stockpiling the cigarettes in the past two months, ahead of their ban on July 1. 'That is probably only two cartons,' her co-star and fellow smoker Kyle Sandilands said. 'It is probably time to give up.' 'I reckon it is,' Jackie laughed in embarrassment, admitting she doesn't keep track of her spending on cigarettes. 'I don't even think I want to know,' she added. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the Daily Mail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. Earlier in June, Jackie shocked listeners when she admitted she would break the law to keep smoking menthol cigarettes. The 50-year-old was discussing the 'massive' federal excise on tobacco and the resultant huge black market with her co-star when they rang NSW Premier Chris Minns to discuss the matter. Mr Minns, 45, acknowledged that the excise had made legal cigarettes prohibitively expensive, and forced law-abiding citizens to get involved in criminal activity by buying under-the-counter cheaper products. 'There's something I hate about this [excise]. Law-abiding people are being dragged into a black market,' he said. 'They go to the store and either buy a $20 packet of illegal cigarettes, or a $60 legal one. It's just a no-brainer for them.' Jackie then made the surprising admission that she would also go to the black market so she can continue to get menthol-flavoured smokes, which have been banned under new government laws. 'I am going [to go black market] because of the menthols ban. You have given me no choice there,' she told Mr Minns. Mr Minns then advised Jackie to 'always follow the law' when it comes to purchasing tobacco products - adding it was a crime to sell cigarettes on the black market, but not to purchase them. The 50-year-old was discussing the 'massive' federal excise on tobacco and the resultant huge black market with her co-star when they rang NSW Premier Chris Minns (pictured) to discuss the matter Jackie is known for her on-air candour. In October last year, she stunned viewers when she opened up about her struggles with addiction in the past. Fighting back tears, she shared she checked into rehab facility the Betty Ford Clinic in California in November 2022, when she took an extended break from The Kyle and Jackie O Show that she previously claimed was due to long Covid. Known for treating Hollywood stars including Keith Urban, Robert Downey Jr. and Lindsay Lohan, Betty Ford charges anywhere from AU$45,000 to AU$90,000 for a month-long stay.
