When little Alia Bhatt lit up the screen in ‘Tamanna': Throwback: See pics
Bollywood's Alia Bhatt is surely one of the versatile actors who enjoy a huge fan base. On this Tuesday let's take a throwback look at when little Alia played a role in 'Tamanna' Throwback Tuesday brought a wave of nostalgia for the Bhatt family as Soni Razdan and Pooja Bhatt took to social media in the year 2018 to share a heartwarming moment from the sets of 'Tamanna', the 1997 film that holds a special place in their lives. A young Alia Bhatt, dressed like a doll in a lehenga, is seen flashing her signature smile while posing with veteran actor Paresh Rawal . Soni Razdan captioned the photo with a sense of wonder: 'Oh my oh my where did the years fly... Alia in Tamanna, not a very long time ago.' A Family Affair on the Sets of 'Tamanna' What many may not remember is that Tamanna, produced by Pooja Bhatt when she was just 24, featured not just her but also her two younger sisters. Alia played a younger version of Pooja's character, while Shaheen Bhatt played the daughter of Ashutosh Rana's character, even bringing her own toys to use as props. Pooja fondly recalled the experience, noting, 'My father cast all three of his daughters in the same film... a fact that has been forgotten with time. ' The movie's emotional core, based on the real story of a eunuch who adopts an abandoned baby girl, remains one of Pooja's most meaningful projects. Alia's Adorable Debut and the Legacy of 'Tamanna' Alia Bhatt also joined in the trip down memory lane, reposting the same picture with the caption, 'Clearly throwing back this Thursday! Thanks Pooj for the trip down memory lane.' by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 2025 Top Trending local enterprise accounting software [Click Here] Esseps Learn More Undo Though 'Tamanna' was not a commercial success, it won critical acclaim and earned Pooja her first National Award. The film's message against female infanticide and its emotional storytelling have left a lasting legacy. On the other hand, Alia Bhatt's previous outing was 'Jigra' which unfortunately received mixed reviews. Upcoming next, Alia will be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Love and War' alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. Alia Bhatt spotted at Mumbai airport
