Florida real estate, HGTV Dream Home: Photos of $2 million waterfront property
Love it or list it? Less than a year ago, the 2024 HGTV Dream Home in Florida had a rightful owner, picked out of 130 million entries in the home and garden network's popular sweepstakes contest.
But soon, it'll be on the market (again) for the second time in months.
In May 2024, HGTV named Marie Fratta, a veteran elementary school teacher from Westchester County, New York, as the contest winner. The grand prize package from the 2024 HGTV Dream Home sweepstakes was worth just over $2.2 million. Though Fratta decided not to move from New York to live in the $2.2 million Anastasia Island abode, she took the title of the house, then later sold it. Property records show the HGTV Dream Home sold Sept. 4, 2024, for $2 million.

The 2024 HGTV Dream Home on Anastasia Island, near St. Augustine, Florida, will be listed Monday, April 21, 2025, the day after Easter Sunday, according to Matt and Gretchen Territo of trustedterritory.com and Team Territo at Keller Williams Atlantic Partners St. Augustine.
The real estate couple represented the buyers, John and Jane Pope, in the 2024 HGTV Dream Home sale with sweepstakes winner Marie Fratta.
"She did elect to sell it," Gretchen Territo said in a November 2024 interview with the USA TODAY Network. "My understanding is that she is a teacher, and he was a fireman, and they lived in New York. They did vacation in the (HGTV Dream) house a few times … before they sold and it went away.'
In an April 2025 email to the USA TODAY Network, Matt and Gretchen Territo said the HGTV Dream Home will be on the market starting Monday, April 21, 2025. The custom home is "designed to blend luxurious coastal living with everyday comfort," the email said. "From the breezy gray-blue exterior to the light-filled interiors and open-concept layout, this home was designed to impress. Located just minutes from Anastasia State Park, the Amphitheatre and downtown St. Augustine, it's the perfect blend of elegance, nature and convenience."
