1. A quick-drying top nail coat, because sometimes you just have to get the show on the road, nail polish situation be damned — this helps dry your wet nails within two minutes so you can get back to business (read: sticking your hand in a chip bag without fear).
www.amazon.com
Promising review:"NEVER GETTING MY NAILS PROFESSIONALLY DONE AGAIN. I love having long nails. I do not like spending fifty bucks just to get them painted. I tried the gel polish with gel top coat, I tried the gel system with the lamps, and I tried every polish out there. My hands get washed hundreds of times daily. This stuff is unbelievable. It really works the way they say it does. I applied it about one or two minutes after finishing a second coat of color, and within minutes, it had bonded and set, and my nails stayed shiny and polished for over a week. That is not the full two weeks claimed, but I am unusually hard on my nails, so over a week is AWESOME. I immediately ordered several more." — Amazon Customer
2. Catrice "Instant Awake" Under Eye Brightener, which became the internet's holy grail for concealing and brightening dark circles under your eyes so fast that everyone's old concealers are doing double takes. www.amazon.com
The color-adaptive formula is designed so one of two shades will work on any skin tone.
Promising review: "Took years off my eyes! This product is so reasonably priced. I came across a TikTok promoting this and decided to take a chance since the price was super reasonable. My eyes looked brighter in a good way, and the concealer worked so well that I felt I looked younger. I got compliments from friends asking what I did differently with my makeup. I recommend it." — Monica T.

3. L'Oréal Paris BB Cream, a FAST-acting, anti-redness moisturizer with results that feel like legitimate magic — especially considering its competitor, the Dr Jart+ Cicapair Color Correcting Cream, is over twice as expensive. www.amazon.com, www.amazon.com
Promising review: "I'd yet to find anything (even foundation) that could cover up my red areas. Checks, chin, nose, and forehead. It comes out green, but has a gorgeous lightweight finish of a tint that indeed covers my redness beautifully. There's no greasiness to it at all. It dries down to a beautiful matte finish. It's super easy to use. I use my fingers. The texture is like silk. It leaves my face baby-soft, not sticky at all. It doesn't settle into my fine lines or wrinkles, and I don't need powder to 'bake' it under my eyes. It also covers the black circles under my eyes." — Julie F.
Get it from Amazon for $9.98 (available in six styles).

And it brightens within the first application. There is enough product in the pen to last through many treatments and touch-ups. I highly, highly recommend this product! 8. A jewelry-cleaning stick with cleansing solution on a brush designed specifically to get in the nooks and crannies of your jewelry, so you can dig out all the grime that's accumulated over the years on the cheap instead of taking it to the jeweler.
Promising review:"I absolutely love this product. I saw it on TikTok and figured I would give it a try. My grandmother passed away almost eight years ago, and she left me her first engagement ring in her will. I have tried so many jewelry cleaners, toothpaste and toothbrush, you name it, tried everything except for sending it away to get cleaned. I ordered the Diamond Dazzle Stik on Thursday and it arrived the following Saturday, fast shipping! Today is Sunday and I cleaned my ring with the Diamond Dazzle Stik. My ring is just as shiny as it was when my grandfather bought it for my grandmother many many years ago. I will definitely use this Diamond Dazzle Stik on all my jewelry. Highly recommended!" — Heather

I usually use some squeeze saline, but it got so bad this year that I decided to get this gel. A dab on a finger or a swab and my nose is hydrated, moistened, and not dry as a desert. I'm a long-ish distance runner, and these were certainly an interesting experience for my feet! You slide them on and, after a few minutes, feel a tingling, mildly burning (in a good way) sensation. It doesn't quite numb your feet, but it relaxes them. I kept them on for 30 minutes and then toweled my feet off, and the tingling sensation slowly faded over the next 30 minutes. After that my feet felt very refreshed and relaxed at a time of day when they're usually aching from all the miles I put in. The whole thing was a mess-free, easy process, and I will definitely keep them on hand for longer run days!

Promising review:"This stuff is absolutely AMAZING. My wife and I were getting tired of looking at our worn-out cabinets and wood paneling and were very close to paying a professional thousands of dollars to refinish it all, but then we came across this product. Our paneling and cabinets were looking rough. This stuff was like a Magic Eraser for water spots, scratches, scuffs, and any other blemish. We simply wiped the product on with a paper towel and let it sit for 20 minutes before wiping it off with a clean towel. Everything looks brand new. Handle all the stinky food you want — even non-food odors — and then wash your hands with this steel bar. No soap. No perfume. It just removes the odor nearly instantly. Little bar is reasonably priced as well. Best gadget I've bought in years." — Deb

Promising review:"Goo Gone has a million different uses. Highly recommend this product to anyone. You are bound to find a use for it at some point and it's pretty easy to store at home. Recently, I used some for removing the packaging of glass mason jars. I noticed the jars of tomato sauce I was buying from the grocery store were actually really nice mason jars. Felt like a waste throwing them out. Why buy a set of mason jars when, instead, you could just buy some Goo Gone and restore your own set? The process was pretty easy for removing the stickers that were glued to the jars." — Ryan

31. K18's Leave-In Molecular Hair Mask for a literal four-minute, no-rinse fix to help restore dry or damaged hair, whether it's from bleach, heat, chemical services, or "check all of the above." Odds are, if you've heard of it before, it was from your stylist — it's one of those "if you know, you KNOW" products that's well worth the price.
www.amazon.com
K18 is a small business that specializes in hair products.
To use, wash your hair with shampoo and not conditioner. Towel dry your hair and apply the hair mask, leaving it for four minutes. Then style as usual without rinsing.
Here's what BuzzFeeder Melanie Aman says about it: "I bleach my dark brown-black Asian hair blonde every six to eight weeks, so I was immediately intrigued when I first heard some stylists at my salon raving about K18. I was gobsmacked at how much softer my hair was. Seriously. I spent the whole day touching my hair, and even my boyfriend agreed that my mane was noticeably silkier. Olaplex was my go-to before I tried K18 and I still stand by it as a product, but I really love that K18 is a leave-in treatment rather than an in-shower mask. Having to let the Olaplex sit for 10 minutes felt like forever, especially when I wasn't taking an everything shower (you know, the ones where you exfoliate and shave). With K18, you let it sit in your hair for four minutes post-shower to activate, and then you can style your hair (or just let it air dry as I do). I've found that my hair is softest the next day, so don't be discouraged if your hair looks or feels the same the day you use it."
Promising review: "My hair stylist recommended this product for my hair and it was such a superior product to anything else I have used. It is expensive and I have long hair so it is doubly expensive, but so worth it. As I aged my hair became really frizzy and dry, but this product changed everything, leaving my hair so manageable, silky, soft, body and no frizz. I cannot say enough good things about K18." — Dawne
Get it from Amazon for $29.
32. A set of dishwasher-cleaning tablets you can pop into a cycle with your dirty dishes to wipe out all the extra grime and that funky smell you can never seem to get rid of no matter how hard you try. You don't even need to scrub — these do all the work for you!

Promising review:"Saved me from buying a new dishwasher! I have to admit that I was skeptical that this product was actually going to do anything. I've noticed my dishwasher wasn't cleaning dishes very well lately, and I did everything I could to get it working properly again, but was ready to finally give up and buy a new dishwasher. I bought these tablets thinking they were designed to eliminate odors, but I was willing to give them a shot before buying a whole new dishwasher. I put one in the bottom of the dishwasher last night per the instructions and woke up to completely clean dishes for the first time in weeks. They look perfect. I don't know why these tablets work, but they absolutely did, and I am a happy customer!" — B. Turner

Promising review:"I cannot stress to you enough how much better this simple little tool has made my quality of life during summer in Ohio. It rains a lot. There are a lot of mosquitoes. I have horrific allergic reactions to mosquito bites. We're talking bumps swelling to the width of softballs within minutes of the bite. This tool doesn't make those bumps go away, but it stops the itch IMMEDIATELY. I was a huge skeptic; how could a little suction cure this agonizingly itchy allergic reaction? I'll be honest. I still really don't know how it does, but it provides instant relief that no pill, cream, or injection ever has ever achieved for me." — Customer

Promising review: "I've had the best results from this dry shampoo than any other. It's a small container, but it lasts a very long time because a little really does go a long way! I also do this the night before so the powdery look goes away by morning, and it's more absorbed; you can also add a light oil to your ends and work it up if it feels too dry. There's no scent either, and it is very convenient for travel! This is the only thing that still makes my hair look 'clean' on the no-hair-wash days!" — Alice

Jeff Bezos's wedding could be ruined by protesters

When Jeff Bezos and his bride-to-be cruise into Venice's lagoon on their $500 million (£386 million), 410ft-long superyacht this month, it will not just be gondolas, Gothic palazzi and bell towers that will greet them. Activists will stage noisy protests against the star-studded wedding of the billionaire Amazon founder and Lauren Sánchez, a former television journalist, arguing that it will transform the World Heritage city into 'a playground for billionaires'. The nuptials, set to be held for three days from June 24-26, are set to cost $10 million (£8.4 million) and will be the biggest celebrity wedding at the site since George Clooney married Amal Alamuddin a decade ago. Hollywood stars such as Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner and Katy Perry, as well as members of the Trump dynasty like Donald Trump Jr, Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner, are expected to attend. Luxury suites in the finest hotels have been booked for the likes of Bill Gates, Orlando Bloom, Oprah Winfrey, Eva Longoria and Leonardo DiCaprio. With a slogan that plays on Bezos's ownership of Blue Origin, his space rocket venture – 'No space for oligarchs, no space for Bezos' – protesters will march along canal banks and through piazzas during the wedding celebrations, carrying banners and letting off coloured smoke flares. Venice, the protestors argue, should not be put up for sale to the world's third-richest man, who has an estimated worth of $225 billion (£166 billion). The 'dignity' of Venice needs to be defended. 'The whole of Venice, all the people who live here, need to do something to protest against Bezos,' Alice Bazzoli, an activist from the 'No space for Bezos' campaign, told The Telegraph. 'It's not about him personally, it's about the consequences that the wedding will have for the city.' On stone bridges and the walls of alleyways across the city's historic centre, there are posters depicting the American billionaire's head superimposed on a rocket blasting into space and the words 'Bezos wedding in Venice? No way!' Protesters say that a mega-wedding attended by the 'ultra-rich one per cent' is the last thing that Venice needs, insisting that it will disrupt daily life for ordinary Venetians and will bring them little benefit. The wedding will also entail the cordoning off of public areas and the blanket booking of water taxis. No official wedding programme has been disclosed, but locals have a hunch that the nuptials may be held on the island of San Giorgio, which lies at the mouth of the Grand Canal opposite the stone-carved splendour of St Mark's Square. A tiny islet, it boasts historic churches, cloisters and libraries. 'He has booked out at least five luxury hotels, the island of San Giorgio will be completely booked out for the duration of the wedding, it will be hard for locals to move around because there will be security measures for his VIP guests,' said Ms Bazzoli. 'He'll pretty much take over the city for his celebrations, paying a huge amount of money for the privilege. It will compound all our problems – daily life is already hard for locals in Venice because of the impact of mass tourism.' In a quiet street in the Castello district of the city, far from the tourist hordes, Marta Sottoriva, another activist, was busy making giant banners for the protests. 'The wedding will benefit the very few – the owners of luxury hotels, the operators of water taxis – all of whom already earn huge amounts of money from tourism. It will bring absolutely no benefits for ordinary Venetians,' she said. For many Venetians, the wedding represents an extreme example of the commercialisation of their city – a place where locals can no longer afford to live because apartments are sold to outsiders or rented to tourists on platforms such as Airbnb. With an acute lack of affordable public housing, many families move to the mainland, across the lagoon, where rents are cheaper. 'Venice is being transformed into a vast theme park, a cultural Disneyland,' said Ms Sottoriva. The authorities introduced a scheme last year whereby day-trippers have to register online and pay an 'access fee' to enter the city. 'A lot of friends have said to me that they now feel like animals in a zoo,' she said. Luigi Brugnaro, the millionaire mayor of Venice, insisted that the Bezos wedding will be a 'great event' that will bring no disruption whatsoever. He said there will only be around 200 guests and that Venice has experience of handling much larger events, such as the Art and Architecture Biennale exhibitions. Bezos and his staff have 'categorically' not booked large numbers of gondolas and water taxis. The mayor told The Telegraph that he was 'grateful' that Bezos had chosen Venice as the venue for his wedding. 'Anyone who loves Venice is always welcome,' he said, adding that there will be significant economic benefits because the event will 'reinforce the role of Venice as a place of encounters and hospitality'. The priority will be to 'ensure that the city functions normally, for everyone, without any inconvenience for anybody,' he said. But claims of lavish economic dividends are sharply disputed by critics. 'I don't think Kim Kardashian will be sitting down at a local trattoria to eat spaghetti. They'll have private chefs instead,' said Ms Bazzoli. Giovanni Andrea Martini, an opposition member of the city council, said: 'It's absolutely false. It won't bring any benefit to ordinary Venetians. It is just going to cause inconvenience.' Hosting the wedding is 'an extreme case of the Disneyfication of Venice,' he said. But now that it is a done deal, Mr Martini wants Mr Bezos to make a donation to the city – not towards sprucing up ancient monuments or artworks but towards restoring the estimated 1,000 council houses and flats that lie empty and abandoned, fuelling the accommodation crisis. Mr Martini said the official estimate of 48,000 inhabitants is wrong, saying around 18,000 of those are second homeowners who have residency but do not live in the city full-time. The true population could therefore be as low as 30,000. Speaking from his office in Venice's town hall, he said the real number of annual visitors could be as high as 30 million – much greater than the 20 million figure that is often cited. 'This is the proportion we are dealing with – 30 million tourists visiting a city of 30,000 inhabitants.' Broaden your horizons with award-winning British journalism. Chiquis Writes Her First Children's Book & More Uplifting Moments in Latin Music

From career milestones to new music releases to major announcements and those little important moments, Billboard editors highlight uplifting moments in Latin music. Here's what happened in the Latin music world this week. Earlier this year, Chiquis announced she was writing her first-ever children's book called The Girl Who Sings to Bees. This week, fans can pre-order the book set to hit shelves and online stores on July 15. Filled with life lessons that include healing, grief and confronting bullying, the book 'honors the relationship she had with her mom, finding solace from her grief in their shared love of music by singing to the bees in her abuelita's garden and the power to find her voice despite fear and bullying from peers,' according to a press release. The Girl Who Sings to Bees will go on sale in July and will be available for purchase on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Target, to name a few. Fans can pre-order here. Set to empower female tattoo artists, the weeklong program — helmed by tattoo artists Javi Cinco Ángeles and Juan Ramón RC and taking place in late August — will offer 40 hours of hands-on training and mentorship, where participants will learn the history of tattooing, techniques and aftercare procedures. Women living in Mexico City between the ages of 22 and 40 can apply now through July 1, by visiting the foundation's website. 'Patria y Vida,' the liberty anthem that fueled a new Cuban revolution and won two Latin Grammys in 2021, has become a full-length documentary set to hit U.S. theaters on July 11 via Spanglish Movies. Directed by Beatriz Luengo and starring Yotuel, the film features notable musical figures including Emilio and Gloria Estefan, Camila Cabello, Gente de Zona and Billboard's Leila Cobo. The song — penned by Yotuel (formerly of hip-hop group Orishas), Luengo, Alexander Delgado and Randy Malcom (of Gente de Zona) and Descemer Bueno, and features Cuban voices from within the island, Maykel Osorbo and rapper El Funky — became the anthem of anti-government protests in Cuba. 'I felt we needed to show the two realities: those of us who live outside Cuba, and those who are still on the island, who live the streets there,' Yotuel previously told Billboard. Watch the trailer below: SiriusXM has launched the Siempre Selena radio channel, where for a limited time, fans will enjoy the Queen of Tejano's biggest hits. As part of the channel and ahead of its 30th anniversary, Suzette Quintanilla (sister of the late singer and Los Dinos member), opened up about Selena's Dreaming of You album, released posthumously, and which made history as the first predominately Spanish-language album to ever debut at No. 1 on the all-genre Billboard 200 in 1995. 'When Dreaming of You came out I didn't care,' Quintanilla expressed on the radio show. 'I was too much lost in my grief. I didn't know day or night, I didn't care about anything. And then I learned to love it and to understand what it represents. It hurt for a very long time to be able to listen to this album, but as time went by, I embraced that this is what sister left behind. This was her not completely fulfilling her dream of doing a whole album, but it's OK because at least we got this.' The Siempre Selena channel is available through July 3 on the SiriusXM app, and on satellite channel 79 from June 4 to 10.
