Blake Lively Wants No Mention of Taylor Swift in Baldoni Case — Report

Blake Lively reportedly filed a motion to prevent Justin Baldoni from using her and Taylor Swift's text messages in the ongoing case. Page Six reviewed the court documents Lively filed with New York judge Lewis J. Liman to block her 'It Ends With Us' co-star and his team's 'media strategy' to drag the pop icon into their bitter legal dispute. The actor called it Baldoni's 'tactic' to exploit Swift and her massive fan base to distract attention from the issue and her sexual harassment allegations.
Blake Lively is seemingly leaving no stone unturned to block Justin Baldoni's team from using Taylor Swift's text messages in the case. Page Six reported that on Friday, she filed a motion seeking a 'protective order' to restrict the contesting party from obtaining her and Swift's exchanges. In her filing, Lively accused her co-star and his legal team of strategically devising the 'tactic' of using their communications to take advantage of the singer and her fans.
Baldoni first named-dropped Swift in his $400 million countersuit against the 'Gossip Girl' alum and her husband, Ryan Reynolds. Earlier this year, a New York judge dismissed his multimillion-dollar suit against the couple after he dropped the subpoenas to the Grammy winner and her legal team. His team then claimed they dropped the inquiry into her and Lively's friendship after obtaining what they needed.
In her recent motion, Blake Lively argued that her and Taylor Swift's text messages were 'not central' to her case against Baldoni. She further asserted these communications were 'irrelevant' to her legal adversary and Wayfarer's claims. Lively's letter to the judge accused them of 'repeatedly' using Swift's name 'as part of their media strategy.' Her team also noted that a continued pursuit would be 'duplicative, cumulative, and unnecessary.'
Later, Lively's representative released a statement calling out Baldoni and the Wayfarer parties. It highlighted their repeated tries to her and Swift's 'private communications,' despite their subpoena to the singer, which they withdrew, claiming they 'got all they needed.' Explaining the purpose of their latest legal move, the statement called the 'ongoing attempts' a 'PR tactic' to divert attention from Baldoni's lawsuit dismissal.

Taylor Swift's Photo Removal Not Ordered By Olivia Rodrigo's Team, Cafe Clarifies

Bluebird Cafe recently took to X (formerly Twitter) to clear the air about a potential feud between and Olivia Rodrigo. On Wednesday, the establishment's manager addressed some unfounded reports speculating that the latter's team had asked the restaurant to remove the former's photo. She clarified that the staff removed the image of their own volition. It was because the photo was in an unfavorable position as Rodrigo filmed something in their cafe. Bluebird Cafe's manager, Erika Wollam Nichols, recently clarified whether Olivia Rodrigo's team had asked the staff to remove Taylor Swift's photo from their establishment. She took to X (formerly Twitter) on June 18 to 'bring some truth to some questions in discussion that have been put out on the internet.' In the video, she denied fans' claims that Rodrigo's team asked them to remove Swift's photo while they were filming. Nichols noted that the cafe's staff put it away as it was in a spot that was in the frame while the 22-year-old was filming. She admitted that the Nashville eatery did indeed have Rodrigo visiting them for filming purposes. However, she and her team did not ask the establishment to remove the photo. The staff decided to put away the image as it was in the way of the former Disney star's filming. The general manager further explained how they are legally bound to remove any and every photo that is under copyright. Since the Nashville cafe doesn't 'own those images,' the establishment doesn't have the right to 'give permission for those images to be used in any kind of broadcast.' She further emphasized, 'That's the sole reason that the photograph was removed from the place it stood.' Nichols highlighted that the 'employee who spoke out of turn about this did not understand why that image was removed.' She admitted that the staff member 'spoke carelessly and haphazardly.' The COO reiterated, 'But irregardless, that image was removed for legal reasons.' She also assured fans that the other photos of Swift remained untouched during the time of filming. Nichols noted, 'Her headshot is there. Her chair still stands strong.' Moreover, she clarified that the pop sensation's photo wasn't the only one that had to be removed. There were other images that had to be put away as well. She asked for the internet's understanding, clarifying that there was no bad blood between the two singers. Taylor Swift Files Restraining Order Against a Man After Fearing For Safety

Taylor Swift took legal action against an alleged stalker, getting a restraining order after living in 'fear' of possible danger. On June 6, the pop singer filed for a temporary restraining order against a man who repeatedly visited her home over the year and insisted they share a personal connection. The Los Angeles Superior Court granted Swift the protective order on Monday. USA Today reviewed the court documents, which revealed the individual to be Brian Jason Wagner from Colorado. In the filings, she also raised concerns about her safety. USA Today shared key details from Taylor Swift's restraining order filing against her alleged stalker. Reportedly, the individual in question, Brian Jason Wagner, visited her house several times over a year, with the first instance dating back to July 9, 2024. He then returned twice that same month. More recently, Wagner made two consecutive appearances on May 21 and May 22, and asked to see Swift 'personally' after 'stating that he was there checking on a friend (again, this is entirely untrue).' In her petition to the court, the Grammy winner revealed that she had been living in 'a fear of imminent harm.' She alleged that Wagner repeatedly visited her house and engaged in 'concerning and threatening' conversations with her staff, prompting her to file for the protective order. Swift further mentioned that she has never 'publicly' revealed the location of her Los Angeles home or address. Therefore, Wagner's repeated visits, refusal to leave, and claims of needing access make her 'fear for my safety and the safety of my family.' Taylor Swift's alleged stalker also made false claims about sharing a personal relationship and a son with her. Moreover, the restraining order filings stated that Wagner made disturbing statements during his visits. These falsified comments included claims about 'living' at her LA property, sharing a 'relationship' with her, and 'believing' she was his son's mother. Swift called these 'untrue and disconnected from reality.' Her claims also mentioned the staff receiving hundreds of emails from him. Swift's restraining order ensures her safety and prohibits Wagner from 'harassing, stalking, assaulting, or disturbing' her. Additionally, it prevents him from communicating or coming within 100 yards of the pop star, her home, her vehicle, and her workplace. The order will remain effective through the court hearing on June 30. Originally reported by Nikita Mahato on Reality Tea.
