Revealed: Why Christian Pulisic wore the name Harlow on the back of his shirt… as he scored for AC Milan in Serie A win
Christian Pulisic got on the scoresheet as AC Milan beat Bologna 3-1 in Serie A but there was something unusual about his celebration.
After scoring Pulisic showed off the name 'Harlow' on the back of his shirt, with his Milan team-mates also sporting different names to usual.
Bologna took the lead in the 49th minute as Riccardo Orsolini found the net.
Milan managed to pull level through Santiago Gimenez before Pulisic put them in the ascendancy.
Gimenez then struck again in stoppage time to ensure that Milan took all three points.
Milan are currently in eighth place in Serie A and are three points adrift of the European spots.
Pulisic was wearing the name Harlow on the back of his shirt as it is his mother's maiden name.
The game was Milan's closest fixture to Mother's Day, which takes place on Sunday in Italy.
In April 2022 a court ruling said that an Italian law automatically giving a child their father's last name was discriminatory.
Both parents now have the right to choose their child's surname.
Other AC Milan players also wore their mother's surname on the back of their shirts, including Kyle Walker, whose shirt bore the name 'Ailmore'.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek, meanwhile, took to the field with 'Cheek' on the back of his shirt.
This is the second year in succession in which Milan have followed this new tradition.
Prior to the game the big screens at San Siro displayed images of mothers sent in by players, fans and legends of the club.

Simone Inzaghi 'leaves Inter Milan just THREE DAYS after Champions League final humiliation' - as he accepts offer from Saudi Pro League heavyweights
Inter Milan boss Simone Inzaghi has reportedly taken the decision to leave the club, just three days after their humiliation in the Champions League final. Inzaghi is expected to accept a lucrative offer to take charge of Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal. The 49-year-old had led Inter to two Champions League finals in three years, but the Italian giants suffered defeats on both ocassions. Inter were blown away by a stunning Paris Saint-Germain performance on Saturday, with the French champions triumphing 5-0 in Munich to win Europe's elite club competition for the first time. The result completed an agonising end to the season for Inter, who also missed out on the Serie A title to Napoli by just one point. According to Fabrizio Romano, Inzaghi has now decided to leave Inter and will sign a three-year deal with Al-Hilal. During his time at Inter, Inzaghi had led the club to the Serie A title in 2024, two Coppa Italia victories and three wins in the Italian Super Cup. Inzaghi's future had been the source of speculation ahead of the final, amid reports he had received a lucrative offer from Al-Hilal. The Inter boss had refused to be drawn on his future immediately after the Champions League final defeat. 'It's not the right time to talk about the future,' Inzaghi said in his post-match press conference. 'We are extremely disappointed and since July of last year we've played 58 or 59 games, we got to this final match, so it's awkward to talk about my future now. 'Again, we are extremely disappointed. We will be talking about the fact we won no silverware this year but these players deserve great credit because they gave it their very best shot and we suffered a lot of injuries. 'I wouldn't change these players for anyone else.'

He has played 64 times for Melbourne Victory and helped them to the A-League series final, where they lost to city rivals and Arzani's former team, Melbourne City.
