Key figures from Bryan Kohberger's Pennsylvania youth summoned to Idaho for student murders trial
FIRST ON FOX: Key figures from Idaho student murders suspect Bryan Kohberger's Pennsylvania past have been summoned as witnesses in his upcoming trial, according to court documents.
They include Jesse Harris, whose name is on the boxing gym where Kohberger used to train, Ann Parham, an advisor at the school Kohberger attended, and Marie Bolger, a former professor who taught Kohberger at DeSales University.
Kohberger wrote that he boxed daily at Harris' gym in a 2015 job application previously obtained by Fox News Digital.
Bryan Kohberger Defense Suggests 'Alternate Perpetrators' In Idaho Murders, Joining Infamous Legal Strategy
In a 2023 interview with the Daily Mail, Bolger said Kohberger was one of her brightest students and one of only two she had recommended for Ph.D. programs in a decade.
However, she explained, she'd never met him in person and only taught him over email and Zoom during the height of the coronavirus pandemic. She helped him work on his graduate thesis, which centered on "how and why criminals commit their crime," she said.

Two other witnesses are Ralph Vecchio and Maggie Sanders. Their connections to the case were not immediately clear.
The documents were made public in a Pennsylvania court days after Kohberger's defense filed an amended witness list in Boise.
Kohberger is accused of fatally stabbing four University of Idaho students in a 4 a.m. home invasion attack -- Madison Mogen, 21, Kaylee Goncalves, 21, Xana Kernodle, 20, and Ethan Chapin, also 20.

Prosecutors allege he left his DNA on a knife sheath detectives found with Mogen's body. They also plan to introduce some of his DeSales homework as evidence he was well-versed in concepts related to crime scene handling and the transfer of evidence.
He was pursuing a Ph.D. in criminology at Washington State University at the time of the murders and previously obtained a master's degree from DeSales.
The trail begins in August. Kohberger could face death by firing squad if convicted.Original article source: Key figures from Bryan Kohberger's Pennsylvania youth summoned to Idaho for student murders trial

WATCH: Republicans rally behind Trump, continue to support Musk amid 'big, beautiful' brawl
A "big, beautiful" brawl erupted on social media Thursday as President Donald Trump and Elon Musk aired their grievances for all to see after months of working together to cut government waste. House Republicans rallied behind the president and continued to support Musk when discussing the fallout with Fox News Digital. "Obviously, I have President Trump's back. I don't think that he should be impeached. Do I think that he was on the Jeffrey Epstein island? I don't think so," Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla., said, referring to Musk calling for Trump's impeachment and suggesting Trump was "in the Epstein files." Despite her defense, Luna admitted Musk is not a "terrible person," and both men have made "great contributions" to the Republican Party. Fetterman Disses Dems For Suddenly Embracing Musk Amid Trump Fallout "I assure you he crossed the line on what he said about the sitting president of the United States today," Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, said of Musk's allegations about Trump. Read On The Fox News App 'Gone Too Far': Gop Lawmakers Rally Around Trump After Musk Raises Epstein Allegations But Roy joined Luna in defending Musk's contribution to cutting government waste through the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). "The bottom line is, we have a job to do. Elon is doing a great job in terms of the rescissions in terms of the DOGE cuts they identified, and I don't disagree with him about our need to go find more spending cuts. I don't. But you know, guys, keep it in the lines," Roy added. Rep. Ralph Norman, R-S.C., praised Trump on Thursday for saving the country. "What's broken apart can be put back together, but you've got two strong personalities," Norman said of Trump and Musk. Rep. Tim Burchett, R-Tenn, dismissed the men's social media brawl, telling Fox News Digital, "They're the two biggest dogs in the pound. They're going to fight." "It's going to settle down at some point," Rep. Burgess Owens, R-Utah, added. White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt attributed Musk's tirade to Trump's bill, which is focused on working- and middle-class tax relief and not benefiting Musk and his companies enough. "This is an unfortunate episode from Elon, who is unhappy with the One Big Beautiful Bill because it does not include the policies he wanted. The president is focused on passing this historic piece of legislation and making our country great again," Leavitt said. In the first of several posts targeting the bill, and then Trump directly, Musk said, "I'm sorry, but I just can't stand it anymore. This massive, outrageous, pork-filled Congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination. Shame on those who voted for it: you know you did wrong. You know it." Fox News Digital's Elizabeth Elkind contributed to this report. Original article source: WATCH: Republicans rally behind Trump, continue to support Musk amid 'big, beautiful' brawl

Green card husband of Hannah Kobayashi, who faked her disappearance, rips her in scathing first interview
The green card husband of the presumed-missing Hawaiian photographer whose bizarre case captivated the country last year spoke out for the first time Friday — slamming her as a 'terrible person.' Alan Cacace, a citizen of Argentina, revealed details of an immigration scam that may have prompted Hannah Kobayashi's mysterious disappearance and return in December, according to the Daily Mail. 'That girl is sick,' Cacace told the outlet — explaining that she offered him $15,000 to keep the scheme a secret, then failed to pay up. Advertisement 4 Hannah Kobayashi triggered a nation-wide manhunt last year before popping up safely in Mexico. Facebook 'I thought that after everything that had happened, she was going to do things correctly, but she lied to me once again,' he said. 'She's a terrible person.' Kobayashi, 31, triggered a nationwide search in November after she suddenly vanished while she was supposed to be boarding a flight to New York — only to be found safely traveling alone in Mexico weeks later. Advertisement 4 Alan Cacace said he paid Kobayashi thousands of dollars for a green card wedding. Facebook/Alan Tomas Cacace Kobayashi had been flying with Cacace and her possibly 'jealous' ex-boyfriend, Amun Muniz-Miranda, along with the ex's alleged own green card wife, when she inexplicably left Los Angeles International Airport and went missing, sources have said. In December, the FBI began looking into the case as a potential green card visa scam gone wrong after the dynamics of the group reportedly soured. Cacace said he paid Kobayashi $15,000 for a fake marriage in Maui that was meant to get him the green card, according to the Daily Mail. Advertisement She later offered to refund him the cash in exchange for him agreeing not to talk — then ghosted him, Cacace told the outlet. 'In exchange for my silence she promised after everything she did to return my money,' Cacace said. 'But I see that it was just another of her lies.' 4 Kobayashi sparked a nationwide search after she went missing in November. AP In November, the foursome of fake newlyweds left for New York in order to convince immigration officials their marriage was genuine but things got tense, allegedly triggering her disappearance, the Daily Mail reported. Advertisement While Kobayashi was missing, her father, Ryan Kobayashi, 58, died by suicide after trying to find her — a tragedy she addressed in a social media post last month. 4 Hannah Kobayashi addressed her father's suicide in a social media post. Facebook '[Life is] such a precious gift.. especially after such loss and pain and suffering,' she said. 'We should all learn to be kind to one another and cherish every single moment that we can because we are all connected.' In another video, Kobayashi said she was 'grateful' for people who devoted 'time and energy' into searching for her last year. Kobayashi said in December that she was traveling alone in Mexico with no clue a massive search was underway for her in the US.
