At around 5.45pm on March 9, 2023, Goff decides to overtake a RAC recovery van towing her partners car.
As she comes to the front of the vehicle, an oncoming motorcyclist appears through the rain.
Goff's Kawasaki bike smashes head on with the Honda motorcycle.
Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed the rider had to have their leg amputated as a result of the horror.
Meanwhile Goff, of Milton Road in Exeter, appeared at Exeter Crown Court for sentencing on Friday.
She pleaded guilty to causing serious injury by dangerous driving and was sentenced to 20 months in prison.
Goff will also be disqualified from holding a licence for four years.
Officer in the case, Alan Kennedy from the Serious Collisions Investigation Team, said: 'Kathryn Goff's actions on the day of the collision resulted in an injury which has changed the life of another motorcycle rider.
"This was a totally avoidable collision.
'Goff's riding fell far below the standard expected of a road user and the decision to perform the overtake was made even worse by the poor weather conditions at the time.
Seven hurt in horror three-car crash as casualties fighting for life are flown to hospital and road closed
'We hope this case will serve as a reminder that every manoeuvre can have tragic consequences.'
This comes after other horror road accidents have been captured on camera across the country.
A Ford Transit ploughed head first into two cars after driving the wrong way on an A-road.
Horrifying dashcam footage shows the vehicle hurtling down the A30 Sherborne Road, in Yeovil, Somerset.
It then smashes straight into an oncoming red Toyota Yaris, causing debris to fly across the carriageway.
The Yaris is pushed onto the other side of the road, as a Volkswagen Polo unavoidably crashes into them both.
Emergency services rushed a man and woman, both in their 20s, to hospital with serious injuries following the smash.
A man in his 60s was also transported to hospital by air ambulance with serious injuries.
Cops later charged Benjamin Charles Foster, 35, in relation to the incident.
Elsewhere, dramatic footage captured the moment a driver barreled into oncoming traffic after his dodgy bid to overtake a lorry backfired.
Norman Chai from Woking, Surrey, was sentenced for causing a serious road collision that left four people with severe injuries.
And this is the moment a Lamborghini worth £200,000 crashed into an oncoming car in a posh leafy village.
The black Huracan was driving through an affluent Cheshire village before the collision.

Inspector ‘disappointed' to be injured by alleged sword attacker, court hears

Marcus Arduini Monzo, 37, killed, skinned and deboned his pet cat Wizard before he launched a 20-minute spree of violence in Hainault, north-east London, on April 30 last year, the Old Bailey has heard. During the rampage, he virtually decapitated Daniel and attacked a pedestrian, two police officers and a couple in their own home, jurors have heard. Afterwards, he likened events to the Holywood movie The Hunger Games and claimed to have an alternative personality of a 'professional assassin'. On Thursday, Inspector Moloy Campbell told jurors how he was injured as he tried to detain Monzo. Daniel Anjorin was killed in April last year (Metropolitan Police/PA) Before arriving at the scene, he heard on the radio that one of his colleagues had been stabbed. A member of the public waved him down and pointed towards a car park and garage area. Mr Campbell told jurors: 'Our purpose was to arrest and protect the other officers. I decided to confront the defendant.' He sprayed him first but the defendant 'blocked' the move and 'came for' the officer, jurors heard. Mr Campbell went on: 'I dropped my spray and drew my baton. I struck him or attempted to strike him. I believe I connected with him at least twice. 'Mr Monzo was slashing at me with a large sword. He made contact with my hand and certainly with my bodyworn camera.' Asked how he felt, the officer told jurors: 'I was disappointed to put it bluntly because it meant I could not carry on what I was trying to do.' Trial judge Mr Justice Bennathan observed: 'Presumably you were terrified because someone is slashing at you with a sword.' The witness replied: 'It was frightening. I remember my priority to try to carry on.' He said he saw blood when he looked down at his hand and his baton was also covered in blood. Ms Campbell said he found himself 'backed into a corner' and withdrew, and asked a colleague to put a tourniquet on his thumb. He was treated at the scene and taken to hospital as the defendant was detained and arrested a short time later, the court was told. Previously, the court has heard how Monzo launched a series of attacks by driving his grey Ford Transit van into Donato Iwule, who was 'catapulted' into a nearby garden before the vehicle smashed into a concrete pillar and fence. He went on to hit Mr Iwule in the neck with his sword before running away, it is alleged. He then virtually decapitated Daniel, who was wearing headphones on his way to school, jurors have heard. Pc Yasmin Mechem-Whitfield pursued the armed defendant through a series of alleyways through residential properties, the court heard. Monzo struck her three times with the sword that had a 60cm blade using 'extreme force', the prosecutor said. It is alleged the defendant entered a property and attacked a couple who were sleeping in an upstairs bedroom with their young daughter nearby. Mr Campbell was attacked shortly before the defendant was arrested, the court has heard. Monzo denies Daniel's murder and the attempted murders of Mr Iwule, Sindy Arias, Henry De Los Rios Polania and Ms Mechem-Whitfield, as well as wounding Mr Campbell with intent. He also denies aggravated burglary and possession of a bladed article relating to a kitchen knife. Monzo previously admitted two counts of having an offensive weapon, namely two swords.

Officers said that emergency crews headed to the scene after they received reports of a young boy being found injured. The young teen was rushed to the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow in an ambulance, where he is currently being treated. Medics have described his injuries as serious but added that his condition is stable. Officers have launched an investigation into the incident and said enquiries are ongoing. The force said they are working to establish the full circumstances of the incident. Muir Road is a residential street located in the north of Dumbarton, near Glasgow, close to Aitkenbar and St Peter's Primary School. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: 'Around 3.30pm on Wednesday, 11 June, we received a report of a person found injured in the Muir Road area of Dumbarton. 'Emergency services attended, and a 13-year-old boy was taken to the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow. "Hospital staff describe his injuries as serious but stable. Police probing death of 'stabbed' teen Kayden Moy swoop on Scots park 'Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.' News of the incident comes hours before the First Minister is set to host a summit on youth violence following a spate of knife incidents. Thursday's summit will hear from the justice and education secretaries, ministers for children and for victims, along with cross-party MSPs, youth workers and those delivering violence reduction in Scotland. John Swinney is set to lead discussions to hear young people's and families' experiences and ideas on possible solutions. And it will focus on education and community engagement with young people and possible strategies for preventing them from turning to anti-social behaviour or carrying a weapon. It also comes as teachers report rising levels of classroom violence and misogynistic behaviour among pupils. Angela Constance, the Justice Secretary, has admitted that "more needs to be done" to clamp down on violence. KNIFE CRIME CRACKDOWN Earlier this month, the Scottish Government pledged that funding for the Scottish Violence Reduction Unit will rise by 7 per cent to £1.217 million, which reversed earlier plans to cut its budget. Despite several high-profile recent murders among teenagers, Police Scotland said that serious assaults by those aged 11 to 18 fell by 27 per cent between 2019/20 and 2024/25, from 428 to 313. Ahead of today's meeting, Scottish Liberal Democrat leader Alex Cole-Hamilton called for greater investment in youth work. Mr Cole-Hamilton, who was a youth worker before becoming an MSP, accused the SNP of presiding over the "quiet death" of youth work. He said: "For the best part of 20 years, I was a youth worker, helping some of the most disengaged young people get their lives back on track. "That experience taught me that no child is inherently bad. Most of the time, they are just in need of some direction, a need that has only been fuelled by the isolating impact of lockdown. "That's where youth work comes in: it provides young people with the direction they need and gives them a positive adult role model who is neither a teacher nor a parent. "It teaches teenagers to come out of their comfort zone, helps them rebuild their sense of self-worth and fosters a whole host of key life skills. "Since the pandemic, however, the SNP have presided over the quiet death of youth work. Budgets have been squeezed, services have struggled to survive, just when we need them the most. "While acts of violence require a strong response, punishing predominantly law-abiding young people cannot be our broader solution. "We need youth work to pre-empt and prevent those acts of violence, to properly engage young people in society and lay the foundations for them to succeed in life." The Scottish Government has been approached for comment. Mr Swinney was last month warned that 'weak and reckless' justice system is costing lives amid alarm at a deadly knife crime wave. Scottish Tories leader Russell Findlay accused the First Minister of 'fuelling youth violence' amid a 'sickening' 600 per cent rise in serious assaults committed by teens in five years. The Holyrood showdown came after day tripper Kayden Moy, 16, was allegedly stabbed to death at Irvine beach in Ayrshire on May 17. In a separate reported incident, another teen was allegedly stabbed at Portobello Beach in Edinburgh the day before. Meanwhile, Scotland's top cop called for a crackdown on violence in schools after we revealed a boy of seven allegedly took a blade into Heathfield Primary in Ayr to attack another pupil. We also told how a 10-year-old lad was threatened with a blade by a tearaway classmate in Kilmarnock. A boy of the same age was reported to authorities over the incident. Last month, a 14-year-old thug was locked up for five years for killing Kory McCrimmon, 16, in Glasgow in a fight over £50. And a group of teenagers are currently facing charges in connection with the death of 15-year-old Glasgow teen Amen Teklay.

The court previously heard Fredi was stood near a bus stop when the teens got off a bus and surrounded him. They initially walked away before returning to push and shove the elderly man. The teens then began punching and kicking Fredi and took his glasses off, the court heard. One of the schoolgirls record the brutal attack on her mobile as the OAP fell over. Fredi, who had been on the way to the pub to meet pals, was discovered unconscious on the pavement. He was rushed to hospital after the horrific assault but died the following day. The girls were initially arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm but the charge was changed following his death. They have been remanded into custody ahead of sentencing on September 5. A post mortem to establish a cause of death will be carried out in due course. Police previously said Fredi was thought to be a Bolivian national and released a CCTV image of him from the evening of the attack. Detective Inspector Devan Taylor from Specialist Crime North added: "Fredi Rivero was a much loved father, whose family are devastated by his death. I also know his death has also shocked this tight-knit community. 'Three girls have been charged in connection with this investigation and we continue at pace with our enquiries.
