In numbers: Why Hearts made Kabangu's stay permanent
Following a promising second half of the season, Hearts have decided to make Elton Kabangu's loan stay from Union Saint-Gilloise a permanent one.
The Belgian striker was one of the first new faces in the Tynecastle club's data-driven Jamestown Analytics era, finishing the season as second top scorer with eight goals in all competitions.

That is pretty good going given the forward only signed in January and played just 18 games, but what makes his goals tally more impressive is the fact none of them came from the penalty spot.
When you compare that to forwards who have played at least 10 Scottish Premiership games this season, Kabangu's non-penalty-goals average of 0.54 per 90 ranks him in the league's top 10.
Meanwhile, the striker sits ninth for his expected goals tally of 0.5 per 90, and his shot (21%) and big chance (56%) conversion rates also place him high in the Premiership forward rankings.
When you narrow that search down to just Hearts players on a per-90 basis, Kabangu sits top for goals, expected goals and shots on target.

A goals-per-90 average of 0.54 over a 38-game season would accumulate a very healthy return of 19, so now the challenge for the 27-year-old is maintaining that form over the course of an entire campaign under new boss Derek McInnes.

Ukrainian authorities have strongly criticised the decision to transfer part of Russia's frozen assets in Europe to Western investors, stating it weakens the EU's stance in confronting Moscow. Source: Reuters Details: Last month, the Belgian company Euroclear transferred €3 billion (US$3.4 billion) previously belonging to Russian investors to compensate Western companies whose assets were confiscated by Russia. This move alarmed Kyiv, which said such actions set a dangerous precedent and undermine Europe's determination in its confrontation with Russia. "If private investors are compensated before the victims of war, it won't be justice," said Iryna Mudra, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine. She stressed that international law requires full reparations from the aggressor to the victims of war, not to companies that "entered a high-risk jurisdiction". The Euroclear decision raises concerns amid growing Western fatigue over support for Ukraine. Meanwhile, the frozen assets of the Russian Central Bank – most of which are held by Euroclear – remain a key leverage tool against Moscow. Former Antwerp head coach set to join Erik Ten Hag at Bayer Leverkusen
HLN are reporting that Antwerp's now former head coach Andries Ulderink is set to move to the Bundesliga. According to the Belgian paper, Ulderink is set to become part of the coaching set up under Erik Ten Hag at Bayer Leverkusen. Former Ajax and Manchester United head coach Ten Hag took over at the club following Xabi Alonso's departure to Real Madrid. Since leaving Antwerp, Ulderink has been helping at Cape Town City. The South African side face a relegation play-off group against Orbit College and Casric Stars. There had been rumours that he would taking over in the Western Cape, but it appears he is instead going to reutrn to Europe. However, talks are ongoing between Ulderink's camp and Erik Ten Hag's new side over bringing the former Antwerp head coach in as an assistant. Dutch coach Ulderink took over for the play-offs in the Pro League from Jonas De Roeck after he was fired. However, the side still missed out on European football. They finished fifth, with Ulderink only winning two of his 13 matches in charge. The seventh loss under him was the most crucial, as it came in the play-off for the final European ticket.
