Multiple teams are interested in trading for Phoenix Suns star small forward Kevin Durant, who will be traded this offseason.

According to multiple reports, the Miami Heat, Houston Rockets, Minnesota Timberwolves, San Antonio Spurs, Los Angeles Clippers and Toronto Raptors are interested in trading for the 36-year-old Durant, who turns 37 in the fall and has one year left on his contract.
A top 75 player of all time, Durant doesn't have a no-trade clause in his contract, so he can't control where he is playing next season.
KD has played for the Oklahoma City Thunder, Golden State Warriors, Brooklyn Nets and Suns.

Some people believe the Timberwolves are the favorite to trade for Durant. However, according to Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic, Minnesota is not close to trading for the Texas product.

The Timberwolves tried to trade for Durant at the February NBA trade deadline. Durant and Anthony Edwards were teammates on Team USA last summer. They are close friends.
Edwards has said multiple times that Durant, the eighth leading scorer in NBA history, is his favorite basketball player of all time.
The Timberwolves made the conference finals this year for the second season in a row, losing to the Thunder in five games.
A future Hall of Famer, Durant appeared in 62 games for the Suns this season. He averaged 26.6 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.2 assists while shooting 52.7% from the field, 43.0% from 3 and 83.9% from the foul line.

Durant won the 2014 MVP Award with the Thunder and back-to-back championships and Finals MVPs with the Warriors in 2017 and 2018.
Minnesota made a blockbuster trade last year, trading Karl-Anthony Towns to the New York Knicks for Julius Randle and Donte DiVincenzo.
Only time will tell if the Timberwolves trade for Durant next.
