Kareena Kapoor has no weight loss goals, reveals yoga trainer: ‘She's glowing, it looks like there is a torch behind her cheeks'
Kareena Kapoor is in her 40s now but her fitness routine can give a 20-something person a run for their money. Kareena's yoga instructor, Anshuka Parwani, recently shared that the actor has been working with her for over a decade and said that she is completely aware of her body, and thus is completely in the loop when they decide her workout routine. Anshuka shared that Kareena is 'glowing' lately and revealed that the actor never had a goal with regard to losing weight.
She shared with ETimes, 'When it comes to age, honestly, Kareena is somebody who is the most aware of her body. I know this because I have been with her. She was my first ever student, not only just the first actor, my first ever student. There is so much to learn from her, she is so aware. She has always loved yoga and she understands her body as well so we know when to push a little, when to alter her workout, when to do variations, or the days when we just want to work on some breath work.'
Talking about het current routine, Anshuka revealed, 'Right now, we are being very balanced. I think she is looking beautiful inside and out. She is really glowing. Sometimes, I feel like there is a torch behind her cheeks because it's beautiful.' Kareena's routine includes 'a lot of mixes of animal flows, lot of strength when it comes to yoga practices. We do a lot of cardio vascular based workout as well.' She added, 'Right now, there is no 'I want to lose'. Honestly, now that I think of it, that's never really happened. The maximum I could really say about anybody has been that, you know, maybe I would like to drop a waist size.'
Anshuka was also asked about Kareena's most favourite and least favourite exercises and she said, 'Kareena doesn't like balancing asanas. I think she gets bored doing vriksh-asana.' She added, 'Her favourite is Surya namaskar. She loves her back bend. She loves to practice. This is her lifestyle.'
In 2024, Kareena was seen in Singham Again and Crew.

After the picture went viral, in December 2024, the senior actor posted the same image on his Instagram handle. He penned a lengthy note along with it, while mentioning that the picture is not a part of his 'real' life. The viral photo was first posted by his co-star Shivangi Verma on Instagram last year. Verma captioned it as "Pyaar knows no age, no limits." Govind Namdev is married to Sudha Namdev. On the work front, Namdev made his acting debut as a corrupt cop in the 1992 film, Shola Aur Shabnam.
