Universally flattering and just $1, this 'looks and wears like a high-end lipstick'
We can't resist a lipstick that flatters every skin tone is the ultimate makeup score. Factor in a budget-friendly tag, and it's pure magic. Case in point: Wet n Wild Silk Finish Lipstick, adored by over 33,000 Amazon shoppers for its versatile shade and soft formula. The best part of this universally flattering lipstick is that it can be yours for a mere $1 — yes you read that right, the top-selling lippie is just a buck.
While there are 28 colors to choose from, shoppers seem to love Wet N Wild's Dark Pink Frost shade the most — it's universally flattering!
Bursting with rich color that boosts your lips' natural hue, the popular product is infused with vitamins A and E, macadamia nut oil and aloe vera, making it super hydrating for your pout. And whose lips couldn't use a little extra TLC during the winter? Bonus: The formula is cruelty-free, so you can feel good about your purchase.
One reviewer called Dark Pink Frost a 'natural subtle shade," adding: 'I have been looking for a replacement of the Covergirl lipstick shades that disappeared years ago and this has been perfect. It's a mauve pink that's very moisturizing and blends well with many makeup looks. I have an olive complexion and this shade is flattering.'
Others were shocked by the luxurious formula despite the dirt-cheap price. 'For such a low-priced lipstick, this was surprisingly good quality. Such a beautiful color and a nice soft consistency,' wrote a fan.
'You don't have to pay a lot of money to get a quality lip product. The color is beautiful and goes on as smoothly as my more expensive brands. I could not be happier,' added a third customer.
"What is this sorcery, Wet N Wild?!?!," asked an elated reviewer. "On a whim, I bought this lipstick for a buck in the color Breeze. I was absolutely knocked on the floor when I tried this on. It is so gorgeous! And it stays. And it feels creamy and hydrating. Against my skin tone, Breeze looks similar to my own lip color, except a bit brighter, with more depth, and very slightly metallic. It glistens in the sunlight, but not in a glittery, fake way. This truly looks and wears like a high-end lipstick."
But some shoppers noticed a quirk. Shared one: "This lipstick is very appealing for my skin tone, not waxy, just wish it stayed longer." Another shopper chimed in, saying, "I love the moisture of this lipstick! Just wish it lasted a little longer."

Yes, Prime Video Has Added More Ads Lately — Like, a Lot More
You're not imagining things: It does take longer to watch a TV show on Prime Video these days. The ad load on Amazon's streaming service has essentially doubled in recent months, from two and a half to three minutes of commercials per hour to four to six minutes per hour, according to a report from AdWeek. More from TVLine Jesse Williams' Amazon Action-Drama Sets Release Date - Also, Watch a Trailer for Hotel Costiera Casting News: Outlander Star Joins The Forsytes, Rings of Power Adds Trio and More The Summer I Turned Pretty: Love Blooms (and Taylor Swift Plays) in New Season 3 Trailer 'Prime Video ad load has gradually increased to four to six minutes per hour,' an Amazon representative admitted in an email to an ad buyer earlier this month. Amazon defended the move in a statement: 'While demand continues to grow, our commitment is to improving ad experiences rather than simply increasing the number of ads shown.' Prime Video was ad-free when it debuted in 2006 as an add-on to Amazon's Prime subscription service that offers free delivery of Amazon products for an annual fee. In January 2024, though, Prime Video introduced ads on all of its films and TV shows, asking subscribers to pay an additional $2.99 per month fee for an ad-free experience. (Other streamers like Netflix, Hulu and Disney+ all offer cheaper subscription tiers with ads as well.) 'This change will allow us to continue investing in compelling content and keep increasing that investment over a long period of time,' the streamer said in a message to subscribers at the time, adding: 'We aim to have meaningfully fewer ads than linear TV and other streaming TV providers.' Have you noticed the uptick in ads on Prime Video shows lately? Is it making you more likely to pay for no ads, or more likely to drop Prime Video altogether? Let us know in the comments! The Summer I Turned Pretty: Love Blooms (and Taylor Swift Plays) in New Season 3 Trailer
The Summer I Turned Pretty will end… this summer. The third and final, 11-episode season of Prime Video's YA series will premiere Wednesday, July 16. (A specific release pattern was not made immediately available, because that'd be too easy.) More from TVLine Jesse Williams' Amazon Action-Drama Sets Release Date - Also, Watch a Trailer for Hotel Costiera Casting News: Outlander Star Joins The Forsytes, Rings of Power Adds Trio and More Save the Dates: Brett Goldstein's Apple Movie, Hallmark's Christmas at Sea and More A farewell poster (below) has also been released, and on Wednesday, the streamer unveiled a new trailer for the final episodes, which continues the show's tradition of using Taylor Swift songs to illustrate the Conrad/Belly/Jeremiah love triangle. This time, it's 'Daylight' and 'Red (Taylor's Version).' You can watch it above. The series, based on creator/showrunner Jenny Han's book trilogy, revolves around the love triangle between 16-year-old Isabel 'Belly' Conklin (played by Lola Tung) and the Fisher brothers, broody Conrad (Christopher Briney) and easygoing Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno), with whom Belly has grown up. The upcoming season will chronicle the events of Han's third (and final) book, We'll Always Have Summer. In the Season 2 finale, which dropped August 18, 2023, Belly released Conrad from her heart and began a relationship with Jeremiah. Reflecting on Belly decision, star Lola Tung told TVLine, 'I think that her choice made sense for her in the moment. She's been through a lot with both of them, and I think she's realized that, at that time, Conrad has not shown her that he will ever be willing to fight for that relationship as much as she will. 'Here's Jeremiah, ready to fight for her, continuing to fight for her, just proving, I think, constantly how much he loves her and cares about her, even in watching her be with Conrad for so long,' Tung continued, adding that Jeremiah 'is the person that she is falling in love with' at the moment. In Season 3, 'it's the end of her junior year of college, and Belly's looking forward to another summer in Cousins with her soulmate, Jeremiah,' reads the official synopsis. 'Her future seems set, until some core-shaking events bring her first love Conrad back into her life. Now on the brink of adulthood, Belly finds herself at a crossroads and must decide which brother has her heart. Summer will never be the same…' As for whether fans can expect the final season to follow the last book and end with [spoiler], 'there are going to be surprises,' Han told Entertainment Weekly. 'There are the things that they know and then there are things they think they know, and then there's going to be, hopefully, things that surprise them.'
