Halsey just canceled a concert. Are her Jersey homecoming shows still on?

Halsey canceled a concert this week due to 'vocal issues' — but her Jersey homecoming shows this weekend are still on.
"Missing Maine broke my heart, so Jersey we have to put it back together .... !!!!" said Halsey June 5 on her Instagram story.
Upcoming shows for Halsey's For My Last Trick Tour are Friday at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, and Saturday, June 7, at the Freedom Mortgage Pavilion in Camden.
Halsey, aka 30-year-old Ashley Nicolette Frangipane of the Washington borough of Warren County, canceled her June 4 performance at the Maine Savings Amphitheater in Bangor Maine hours before the show.
'I woke up this morning and my voice was just ... gone,' wrote Halsey on a Wednesday Instagram story. 'I saw my doctor and they said singing tonight could cause injury if i don't let my vocal cords rest. So — we have to cancel tonight's show in Bangor.
'I'm devastated. there's nothing that would keep me off of a stage besides not being able to sing. I would try to push through anything else, but this is the one situation I can't.
'The good news is that with time to rest, doctors have advised I'll be able to continue the rest of the tour as planned. Canceling tonight is the only way to make sure that happens.'
The venue also stated that the show is canceled and tickets will be refunded from the point of purchase.
'We wish Halsey a speedy recovery and we hope to see her in Maine soon,' said Waterfront Concerts of Maine.
Tickets for Halsey's Jersey shows this weekend begin at $42 via Ticketmaster.
The scheduled 32-city Halsey tour kicked off May 10 at the Toyota Pavilion in Concord, California, and wraps up July 6 at the Yaamava Theater in Highland, California.
Halsey announced the tour with a fatally fun video where she's apparently prepping for her funeral.
Her last tour was five years ago as she has battled multiple illnesses in recent years. She's spoken publicly about battles with endometriosis, Ehlers-Danlos syndromes, Sjogren's syndrome and mast cell activation syndrome.
In a social media post, she suggested that she's being treated for lupus and leukemia when she linked to the Lupus Research Alliance, and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Halsey's latest album, 'The Great Impersonator,' was released in October 2024. Her hits include 'Bad at Love,' 'Eastside,' 'Without Me' and 'Closer.'

Morrissey halts Manchester homecoming show for surprise announcement

Manchester music icon Morrissey halted his huge sold out homecoming show at the Co-op Live Arena to make a surprise announcement this evening (June 7) The former Smiths' frontman is in the city as part of his ongoing world solo tour. And the huge Co-op Live gig represents his biggest ever homecoming show. But halfway through his performance on Saturday, Morrissey, 66, brought a halt to proceedings - announcing he needed to put the record straight with a surprise revelation. READ MORE: Exact time the Red Arrows will fly over the North West this afternoon The Mancunian star said: "It's always stated that I was born in Davyhulme... I wasn't born in Davyhulme!" He then added with some exasperation: "Everybody says I was born in Davyhulme, it's terrible it's something I've got to bear forever through life like hot coals. "I wasn't born in Davyhulme, does anybody care?" He went on in answer to shouts from the audience: "Where was I born? I was born in a really scruffy place. Just kidding, Old Trafford." It prompted a chorus of boos, presumably due to the area's football connections. But before continuing the show Morrissey was quick to retort: "Oh you may boo, you may boo louder, you may boo even louder... I have a lovely pair of firm, solid, Labradors,." The singing star had earlier looked emotional as he walked out on stage to greet fans at the show. His first words to the crowd were "I'm here, my God I'm here". While Morrissey has now confirmed his birthplace, he has long been associated with Stretford where he spent many years of his youth before becoming a worldwide music star. His set including a host of his solo anthems including Everyday is Like Sunday as well as The Smiths classics How Soon Is Now, Shoplifters of the World Unite and Last Night I Dreamt Somebody Loved Me. --- Day in day out, our reporters in the Manchester Evening News newsroom bring you remarkable stories from all aspects of Mancunian life. Rod Stewart 'devastated' over multiple concert cancellations as illness threatens tour dates

Rod Stewart's fans will have to wait a bit longer for a chance to see the rock legend live in concert. The iconic singer canceled his next six performances due to an ongoing battle with the flu. "I have to cancel and reschedule my next six concerts in June as I continue to recover from the flu," Stewart wrote in a statement on Instagram. "So sorry, my friends. I'm devastated and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience to my fans." The 80-year-old crooner continued to express his regret over the cancellation and noted how deeply he values his loyal fans. "I'll be back on stage and will see you soon," Stewart reassured his fans, signing his message, "Sir Rod." Stewart is scheduled to perform at Glastonbury later this month. The "Have I Told You Lately" singer's recently canceled shows raised concerns about whether he'd be well enough to perform there after postponing several performances. Stewart's performance at Glastonbury would mark the first time he's performed at the music festival in more than two decades. "I'm absolutely thrilled to announce that I'll be playing Glastonbury 2025! After all these years, I'm proud and ready and more than able to take the stage again to pleasure and titillate my friends at Glastonbury in June. I'll see you there!" he previously penned on X, formerly known as Twitter. The "Forever Young" singer headlined the festival in 2002. Earlier this week, Stewart canceled his performance at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, citing doctor's orders. Stewart blamed a lingering sickness for the cancellation. He additionally canceled a show during his Las Vegas residency due to health concerns. "I'm awfully sorry to have to cancel my show June 5th at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace," Stewart shared online. "My doctor ordered a bit more rest while I recover from the flu. Thanks for your love and understanding." Last weekend, the "Maggie May" singer told fans he wouldn't be able to perform, hours before he was scheduled to take the stage. "I am sorry to inform you that I'm not feeling well and my show tonight at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace is being rescheduled to June 10," Stewart wrote. "Your tickets will be valid for the new date." Stewart revealed late last year he was taking a step back from the stage in the coming year. "This will be the end of large-scale world tours for me, but I have no desire to retire," he said in a statement on social media. "I love what I do, and I do what I love. "I'm fit, have a full head of hair, and can run 100 meters in 18 seconds at the jolly old age of 79."
