Ferrari Resort 2026 Collection
A 1960s photo in Ferrari's Maranello workshop—where Enzo Ferrari founded the famous automotive company in 1947—shows a glamorous lady wearing fur and cat-eye sunglasses observing Ferrari craftsmen at work. During an in-studio preview, creative director Rocco Iannone explained that the image is one of the main focuses of the resort 2026 collection. It's important because it exemplifies the brand's cultural status, a carmaker so well known that 'the word Ferrari itself is commonly used as an absolute comparative,' as Iannone put it. With this in mind, he designed a collection that keeps the workshop at its heart.
The opening looks are inspired by engineers working in business- and science-oriented areas, with sartorial looks made of coated denim trench coats and leather separates, often matched with Ferrari-red ties. References to the automotive world are recurring but always subtle, such as the car silhouette evoked through the shape of zips or the shoulders of leather bikers and blousons with integrated spoilers that clearly recall those found on Ferraris. Sometimes, instead, actual car parts become the main materials; as is the case with discarded Ferrari tires that have been transformed into a yarn used for knitwear and iridescent suits—a copyrighted fabric called Q-Cycle—in an innovative approach to circular creativity.
In other cases, inspiration comes from pilot gear of the past, like the ample leather cargo pants that recall the 1930s, or the 7x7 check, typical of racing suits, that was reworked on silk shirt dresses, knitwear pieces, and embossed leather garments. Among the accessories, the soft La Ferrari Dino bag stands out; it's a riff on the Dino model, a car named after Enzo's son.

6 Months After the Pelicot Trial, a Staging Brings Insight and Despair
It was a case that shook France. Last December, the husband of Gisèle Pelicot was convicted of drugging and assaulting her for over a decade, and for inviting dozens of men to rape her while she was unconscious. Now, just six months later, the trial has already inspired a work of theater — in Vienna, as part of the city's prestigious Festwochen festival. On Wednesday, the Swiss director Milo Rau, who has led the event since 2023, and the French dramaturg Servane Dècle presented 'The Pelicot Trial,' a seven-hour reading of excerpts from the French legal proceedings and of interviews and commentary related to the case. It was a long night at the Church of St. Elisabeth, a red brick Roman Catholic church in a southern district of Vienna. The sun was setting when the audience went in at 9 p.m., filling the pews to capacity. When the final words were spoken, at around 4:15 a.m., sunrise was near, and only around 30 people remained. In a joint interview before the performance, Rau and Dècle said the wide range of material involved, with sections delving into history, philosophy and biology, was intended to dispel any notion that Pelicot's story was an isolated event. 'It's an example of patriarchal violence,' Rau said. 'The more we dive into it, the more we see that it's the tip of the iceberg.' Rau has a long history of bringing trials to the stage. In 'The Last Days of the Ceausescus,' Rau reenacted the 1989 legal proceedings against the Romanian dictator Nicolae Ceausescu and his wife. In 'The Congo Tribunal' and 'The Moscow Trials,' he created mock criminal courts to analyze real political events. Want all of The Times? Subscribe.

Miley Cyrus Joins Beyoncé for Live Debut of ‘II Most Wanted' During ‘Cowboy Carter' Tour in Paris
Miley Cyrus became the first official guest performer to take the stage during Beyoncé's 'Cowboy Carter' tour, appearing on Thursday at Paris' Stade de France to give the live debut of their Grammy-winning duet 'II Most Wanted.' Rumors had been circulating earlier in the day that Cyrus, who was in Paris to perform for Spotify's Billions Club Live, had been spotted soundchecking with Beyoncé, who was gearing up for the first of three performances in France. Cyrus took the stage deep into the set to perform 'II Most Wanted' for the first time, in turn becoming the ongoing tour's first guest. The song was released as the third single from the set, continuing on to win the Grammy for best country duo/group performance. Cyrus previously discussed that she had initially written the song roughly two-and-a-half years before it ended up on 'Cowboy Carter.' 'When Beyoncé reached out to me about music, I thought of it right away because it really encompasses our relationship,' she told W magazine. 'I told her, 'We don't have to get country; we are country. We've been country.' I said, 'You know, between you being from Texas and me being from Tennessee, so much of us is going to be in this song.' Getting to write a song, not just sing, for Beyoncé was a dream come true.' Beyoncé is just past the halfway mark of her 'Cowboy Carter' world tour, having previously touched down in Los Angeles, Chicago, New Jersey and London. After she wraps in Paris on June 22, she's heading back to the United States for shows in her native Houston, Washington, D.C., Atlanta and Las Vegas, where she'll conclude the trek on July 26.
