Danny Dyer gushed about his daughter Dani's 'amazing' husband-to-be Jarrod Bowen in a hilarious confession on Friday.
The EastEnders star, 47, even admitted to being 'slightly in love' with the West Ham player, 28, ahead of the wedding.
Dani, 28, and Jarrod are set to marry in the English countryside on Saturday during an intimate ceremony.
Giving his verdict on his son-in-law in an interview with The Mirror, Danny joked: 'I have met every single boyfriend that has walked through my door - and then she brings home the West Ham captain.
'I have gone from the lying scum, and I hate them, to a man who I would not mind tonguing myself! A strong man. If he lent in I would put my lips on this geezer.'

He added: 'He is amazing. I can't wait to give her away. What a touch. But if he was to make a move on me before… I think I'm in love with him, slightly.'
Dani recently revealed she is putting the finishing touches on her upcoming wedding to fiancé Jarrod.
The former Love Island star revealed finalising her seating plans has been the most stressful part of the nuptials.
Speaking to Heat magazine, she said: 'I have finally done my table plans now. Until you are in there writing names out, making sure you have tables of 10, it's the most stressful experience ever - that's the only thing I've not enjoyed.'
Dani also revealed she will take on a double-barrell surname after the wedding, becoming Dyer-Bowen.
She said: 'I am going to keep the Dyer - I am going to do Dani Dyer-Bowen just because of my work. I feel like if I am Dani Bowen, it takes that thing away from me. We are double-barrelling it.'
The wedding will undoubtedly be an emotional day for Dani's father Danny Dyer, with the reality star saying he and West Ham star Jarrod are very close.
'We've joked so many times that Jarrod is marrying the wrong Dani Dyer!' she said.
The mother-of-three added she has really enjoyed the build up to the big day, which included a recent hen night in Ibiza with her pals.
Sparing no expense with her lavish nuptials, the bride-to-be shared a glimpse of her wild celebrations on Instagram, which included a boozy brunch, a boat trip and a raucous night in the lavish nightclub Ushuaia.
A source told The Sun that Dani really splashed the cash during her hen celebrations, including a VIP night at Ushuaia that cost at least £8,000.
The insider said: 'Dani might have flown on a commercial flight but they splashed the cash when they landed.
'She spent Friday night at Ushuaia where they were on a VIP table with a minimum spend of £8,000. The next day they hired a boat to go around the coast before spending the rest of the time chilling at the Hard Rock hotel.
'Dani also had a boozy brunch at Beso Beach where her mates put on Jarrod masks and sang ABBA songs with her.
'They spent their last night at super club Hï Ibiza where they had a VIP booth. There were some sore heads when they touched down at City airport.'
Dani reportedly splashed out an eye-watering £20,000 on her hen party in Ibiza, as she prepares to tie the knot with footballer Jarrod Bowen this weekend
Meanwhile, Jarrod jetted off to Las Vegas for his stag do as he prepares to marry the Love Island star.
Explaining the timeline on their Live And Let Dyers podcast, Dani explained: 'I literally get back from my Hen on the Monday and then I get married on the Saturday. And if you can go, Jarrod gets back Thursday and then married Saturday.'
That's when Danny cheered and shouted out: 'Strippers!,' much to his daughter's dismay.
'No, you're not,' insisted Dani, who went on to explain that at a different Hen she attended, they had a butler in the buff.
Dani said: 'We had to draw him, we had to draw the naked man. It's different, it's so different. I don't care.'

Dani Dyer's close bond with mum who feared star would end her life

The former Love Island star has tied the knot with her footballer beau Jarrod Bowen, and her doting parents, Danny Dyer and Joanna Mas supported her all the way Dani Dyer has tied the knot with her West Ham footballer beau Jarrod Bowen at their low-key wedding over the weekend. But before finding her forever love, Dani faced a broken heart, and her mum rushed in to support the reality TV star as she feared she would end her life. The Love Island alum, 28, and Jarrod, 28, went public with their relationship in December 2021 and have looked loved up on social media ever since. They welcomed their twin girls, Summer and Star, in May 2023, while Dani also shares her son Santiago, four, with her ex Sammy Kimmence. ‌ Fast forward to July 2024, and Jarrod popped the question during a romantic boat trip in Ibiza. On Saturday, 31 May, they said 'I do' during an intimate ceremony at the five-star Langley Hotel in Buckinghamshire in front of their loved ones. ‌ Before finding her happy ever after with Jarrod, Dani spoke about a former heartache she encountered at the age of 19, which saw her weight plummet to just 7 stone. Her mum, Joanna Mas, was so worried about her taking her own life that she slept in her bed every night to watch her. Previously speaking about this time in her book, What Would Dani Do?, she revealed just how close she is with her adoring mum, despite her EastEnders star father, Danny Dyer, being the one in the spotlight. ‌ In an extract published by The Sun on her young heartache, Dani said: "I wasn't really eating, I wasn't sleeping very well and I'd lost a lot of weight - I was seven stone and really skinny. "I had no motivation to do anything. My mum slept with me every single night. She said she hated hearing her daughter cry herself to sleep." She added: "Mum seriously thought I might take my own life at one point because I couldn't stop crying and was so miserable." ‌ Dani said she used to shut herself in her room and not talk to anyone for days, before eventually going to see a doctor on the advice of her mum. She was prescribed antidepressants, which she took for around six months, and saw a therapist. She said, in hindsight, she knows she was "feeling damaged" after being in "such a long and emotional relationship". ‌ During her time on Love Island back in 2018, Dani opened up about her relationship with her mum as she discussed having children in the future. At the time, she said: "I want her to just be able to tell me everything. How I am with my mum. "I want her to be able to do whatever she's done, be able to confide in me, and for me to always be able to give her the right advice." She added: "My mum is strict. And she's like my best mate." Her loving parents were in full support over the weekend for Dani's nuptials to Jarrod. Dani opted for a low-key wedding, and keen to stick to tradition, the bride reportedly stayed separately from her footie star fiancé on the eve of the wedding as she stayed with her parents, Danny and Jo. ‌ The bride and groom and all their guests dressed to impress for the pastel-themed ceremony, but Dani's dress stole the show as she walked down the aisle. The Sun reported that Dani's white off-the-shoulder gown by British designer Suzanne Neville cost a whopping £10,000 and was paid for by her parents. It was a family affair, as her former Mick Carter actor dad, 47, walked her down the aisle while her two-year-old twin daughters, Summer and Star, were flower girls. Her son, Santiago, who has an adorable nickname for his stepdad, was a page boy alongside Dani's brother, Arty, 11. Dani's younger sister Sunnie, 18, also had a very special speech lined up for the big day. According to MailOnline, Sunnie shared a sweet poem at the ceremony. Sunnie read a poem from 'Sex and The City' wedding scene, which went: 'His hello was the end of her endings. Her laugh was their first step down the aisle. His hand would be hers to hold forever. His forever was as simple as her smile. He said she was what was missing. She said instantly she knew. She was a question to be answered. And his answer was 'I do'.'

Villagers fed up of tourists' drones call for ban after man filmed in bath

Fed up residents of 'the prettiest village in England' are calling for a ban on tourists' drones after one local reported being filmed while taking a bath. 'No drone zone' signs have now been plastered across the windows of homes in Castle Combe in the Cotswolds, as well as in the local church and the public car park. Residents say the aircraft are constantly flying over their gardens and streets – and even by one man's bathroom window. Retired police officer Hilary Baker, 69, told The Sunday Times: 'It's almost like some of the visitors have lost their moral compass, they have lost their boundaries. When you go into your back garden and put your washing out and there is a drone hovering 20 yards above your head, it really quite rankles. 'Another neighbour had been working in his garden and jumped in the bath and there was a drone at his bathroom window, watching him in the bath. You just think, really? 'I should think on a monthly basis I will get verbal abuse [for asking them to stop].' Police were reportedly called on a pilot who would not land his drone last month and verbally abused locals when they asked him to respect their privacy. It is claimed he filmed children playing in a back garden and flew up and down the high street hovering at first floor window level. The Independent has contacted Wiltshire Police about the incident. Before the drones, tourists were overstepping boundaries in Castle Combe for years, according to residents, with signs seen asking visitors to not pick flowers or walk down homes' side alleys. But Ms Baker, who has lived in the Wiltshire village for more than three decades, said there has been a recent surge in tourists flying drowns for their social media channels, especially since the Covid-19 pandemic. While the picturesque village is only home to a few hundred people, thousands of visitors descend on the area every week, having seen videos on various social media platforms. Often referred to as one of the 'prettiest villages in England', its historic centre is a particular draw as well as its chocolate box cottages. Sisters Lydia Chia, 27, and Deborah Chia, 24, who were posing for photos on a trip from Singapore, told The Times: 'I saw it on my friend's Instagram and a little bit on TikTok. It's really pretty. I pick where to visit based on pictures and aesthetics, and whether or not it's Instagrammable.' Chairman of the parish council Fred Winup found that just over half of tourists chose to visit Castle Combe after seeing it online, in a visitor survey he conducted last year. The retired bank director told of a time a drone followed him along the high street 'just five feet above my head', adding: 'It was a Californian [piloting it], he was a nice guy who didn't know the rules and said he was sorry.' Wiltshire council has now put a sign up in the public car park, following calls from the parish council. The warning to drone pilots reads: 'If you use these devices where people can expect privacy, such as inside their home or garden, you are likely to be contravening CAA [Civil Aviation Authority] guidelines'. The rules that are in place around drones, while complicated, typically require pilots to have the aircraft in their line of sight, to avoid getting close to crowds or building, and to respect people's privacy. With some devices having reportedly crashed into the church roof or resident's trees, Mr Winup said: 'People do lose control of drones and they could take an eye out.'
