It's the kind of day any kid looks forward to.
For best friends 14-year-old Libby German and 13-year-old Abby Williams, it would be a day of adventure.
The girls would take a walk through the woods on the outskirts of town.
They planned to stay for an hour, then call for a ride home.
They wanted to cross that old abandoned railroad bridge and take some photos.
The bridge was dilapidated.
A dangerous place to walk.
But they decided to go for it.
And sure enough, Libby was able to take a snap of Abby on the bridge.
She was also able to take a video.

But now she has been replaced by Sophie Monk, who will be familiar to Love Island fans as she hosts the Australian version of the show. It is understood that Maura has not been axed however, and the shake-up is due to scheduling conflicts. An insider teased: "She wasn't able to commit to hosting Aftersun this season due to other work commitments, but she will be back on screen in some capacity later in the run." While it's not confirmed, one fan theory is that she is believed to be filming the US version of The Traitors, following in the footsteps of fellow Love Island star Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu. It is thought that she may return to host Aftersun for the second season of Love Island Games, which films later this year in Fiji. The cast for the next series of The Traitors USA has yet to be officially confirmed. The Love Island shake-up news was announced last night via an instagram post on the show's official account. Alongside a posed snap of a beaming sofa, the caption read: "Welcome Sophie Monk to the Aftersun family!" Main show host Ariana Madix, who found fame on Vanderpump Rules, shared her excitement over the new hire. "You guys have no idea how much i'm dying over this." Fans were quick to ask where Maura was. She's back for love island games." Maura is yet to make any official comment herself on social media. And while Danny has patched things up with wife Georgia and issued a grovelling apology, Maura has not publicly commented on the scandal.

St Denis Medical, review: yet another workplace mockumentary, flatlining on originality
Original ideas are thin on the ground in TV, but a mockumentary workplace comedy set in a US hospital? You've definitely seen this one before, spread across different shows. St Denis Medical (BBC One) is The Office meets Scrubs with a dash of St Elsewhere and Parks and Recreation, while unfortunately not being as good as any of them. It's not so bad, though, even if the BBC has bought it in from NBC and dumped it in a graveyard slot. They're hoping you'll pick it up on iPlayer, where the half-hour episodes are available as a boxset. The setting is a small, regional hospital in Oregon. Turns out they have the same problems over there as we have over here: low morale, chaotic A&E departments, intransigent receptionists who would have to see your internal organs fall out before they let you see a doctor. Then there's the endless admin. A consultant is asked how he spends a typical day, and replies: 'Well, I just examined a patient with a heart murmur. That took about two minutes. Now I'm going to spend 40 minutes filling out electronic health records.' That's Dr Leonard (David Alan Grier), a twinkly hospital veteran and the most likeable character here. Some of the others owe a hefty debt to The Office. If David Brent was running a hospital, can't you imagine him saying, as Joyce (Wendi McLendon-Covey) does here: 'I was an oncologist for 20 years but, now that I'm a hospital administrator, I'm battling different kinds of cancers – like cynicism, pessimism, people questioning my judgment. Those attitudes are the real cancers.'? She performs dance routines as employees wince, and asks them: 'What's the most infectious thing in a hospital?' When they suggest various diseases, she says: 'No, you guys, the most infectious thing in a hospital is a smile. ' Then there's Alex (Fargo's Allison Tolman), a supervising nurse in A&E. She's the one with whom we are supposed to sympathise because she's brimming with goodness and devoted to the job, patiently dealing with difficult patients, difficult colleagues and difficult bosses. Alex gives the show a sentimental side that can verge on the cloying. Her perennially sarcastic colleague, Serena (Kahyun Kim), is more fun. Writer Justin Spitzer previously worked on the US version of The Office, as well as Scrubs and workplace comedy Superstore, and has stayed well within his comfort zone. He's done a competent job, but it all feels too safe. Dr Leonard has been given a quirk, but it's simply that he has a very sweet tooth; the trauma surgeon swaggers around as if he's God's gift, when it would have been more interesting to steer away from that stereotype. The mockumentary touches – all those glances at the camera – feel hackneyed now. Shows like this have been so done to death that we've come full circle, and it's the traditional, canned laughter sitcoms that are starting to look edgy.

'Jane' gives tearful testimony about 'hotel nights' at Diddy's direction
A former girlfriend of Diddy's going by the pseudonym 'Jane' wept on the witness stand today as she described drug-induced sexual encounters with male escorts while she traveled the world with the music mogul. The marathon sex sessions, described by her as 'hotel nights' and similar to 'freak offs,' were organized at Diddy's direction, could last multiple days, and involved drugs and baby oil, she said. Through tears, she testified that she didn't know why she couldn't outright tell Diddy to stop and that he would give her 'multiple doses' of ecstasy per night to keep her awake. On her birthday in Miami in 2023, she testified, she had sex with multiple men as Diddy watched. Jane previously testified that Diddy was paying her rent and reiterated today that he continues to. She is one of four accusers referred to in the government's indictment that alleges Diddy ran his business empire as a criminal enterprise and exploited the women through his financial support. 'It's true that at any moment he could just do that if he wanted to,' Jane testified, 'cut me off.' 🔎 The view from inside By Adam Reiss and Jing Feng Diddy sat with his hands clasped in front of him as Jane testified, while attorneys for both the prosecution and defense appeared riveted by her on the stand. Diddy's demeanor is in the spotlight after Judge Arun Subramanian yesterday scolded his defense team for allowing him to make facial expressions toward the jury. Subramanian said it was 'absolutely unacceptable' and warned that if it happens again, he may remove Diddy from the courtroom. In other news: An attorney for Jane complained to Subramanian that media outlets are trying to expose her identity. The attorney accused the outlets of livestreaming and posting related articles, and asked the court to 'stop these attempts to violate the court's order' not to name her. The judge said he would consider issuing a media gag order if someone is found to have violated the rules. Next week: Jane is expected to return for more questioning by the prosecution before the defense begins its cross-examination.
