Adolescence star Stephen Graham details terrifying moment he had emergency operation while mid-air on flight

Stephen Graham revealed he had to undergo an emergency operation while on a recent flight from UK to US. The Adolescence star 51, detailed the dreadful accident while appearing on US TV show, Late Night with Seth Meyers on Thursday. The English actor and producer - who assured he was doing fine now - had to get a surgical catheter installed at 10,000ft during one of his most recent flights. Stephen explained he found himself unable to urinate and realised something was amiss. 'I'm like, Oh, this doesn't feel right' he said. 'I knew I had to, and then silly Stephen thought, "Oh, well, if I go back to my seat and I just keep drinking water, at some point it will happen." 'He revealed that an hour later - "long story short, all of a sudden I went, but it was just pure blood".' The Peaky Blinders star reached out the plane's doctor to explain him the situation. He continued: 'He had another friend with him, who was a surgeon, so I'm there, and I explain. He's like, okay, and the surgeon, Dr Haji, says, we can work this out.' The doctors proceeded to sterilise the lounge area between the economy and first class seats, while also a catheter was pulled out of an emergency box. Stephen also praised doctors for keeping curtains drawn so he could have some privacy during the sensitive operation. 'I drop me kecks, I get on the couch, and he performs a catheter operation there and then,' he said and shared a selfie he grabbed with the doctors after the op was done. 'The relief was unbelievable as you can imagine, but it was a little clot that had got stuck behind, well, not little, but, had got stuck behind my urethra,' Stephen said. Stephen's dreadful anecdote comes after a public loved-up confession as he revealed he is still as in love with his wife as ever while gracing QG's cover (pictured with his wife Hannah Walters) 'I went to the toilet, and it was one of the nicest experience with me and my penis!', he added leaving guests into stitches. Stephen's dreadful anecdote comes after a public loved-up confession as he revealed he is still as in love with his wife as ever while gracing QG's cover. Opening up about their relationship, Stephen gushed: 'She's me best mate for one, she's funny as f**k. 'I find her dead saucy. She's amazing. She's the light of my life. Do you know what I mean? We're a great little partnership. It really works.' The couple also work together on their joint production company, appropriately named Matriarch Productions, which was behind the hugely successful Netflix series Adolescence.

Lara Pulver on Fiddler on the Roof: 'this show is always heartbreakingly relevant'

Pulver immediately strikes you as very alive, if that's not a silly thing to say, but it's just the way her eyes take up most of the room as she seeks to accommodate you - 'I'm a Jewish mother, a feeder, you can't come to my house without someone trying to put food in your mouth,' she'll say later - and how you can just imagine how she grabbed the attention back in that village hall, and has continued to do throughout her stellar career on stage - Olivier award-winning for Gypsy in 2016 - and starring in nation TV treasures like Spooks and Sherlock.

Russell Martin's partner Lucy Pinder is former glamour model and is friends with Gary Lineker and his ex

Russell Martin's partner Lucy Pinder is former glamour model and is friends with Gary Lineker and his ex The former model will be cheering on her partner at Ibrox next season Martin and Pinder went public with their relationship last year (Image: Instagram: @pinderpix ) Russell Martin has been appointed as the new manager of Rangers, with the former Swansea City and Southampton boss signing a three-year deal to take charge at Ibrox. The 39-year-old former Scotland defender had a short stint at the club as a player in 2018 and has now returned as part of a new era for the Scottish giants, who were taken over by a US-based consortium last week. Martin is said to have been the "standout choice" to turn around the fortunes of the team after a disappointing season saw them end the campaign with no silverware. ‌ Joining the manager in Glasgow will be his girlfriend, former glamour model Lucy Pinder, with the couple going public with their relationship last year having dated since August. ‌ Pinder will likely be a familiar face to many football fans, having risen to international fame for her work in men's magazines - including FHM, Loaded and Nuts - during the 2000s. She was named as one of FHM's '100 Sexiest Women in the World' on three occasions, while she later moved into TV work, landing a presenting role on Nuts TV and appearing on reality shows including Celebrity Big Brother and Hell's Kitchen. The 41-year-old has also tried her hand at acting, starring in comedy horror film Strippers vs Werewolves in 2012 before appearing in made-for-television disaster flick Sharknado 5: Global Swarming five years later. Article continues below While she didn't quite make it to Hollywood herself, Pinder was previously rumoured to be dating Captain America star Chris Evans, having been seen enjoying a daytime date with the actor in January 2015. However, she has now found love with former Wycombe Wanderers and Norwich City defender Martin, who was sacked as Southampton manager in December. With Pinder a die-hard Saints fan, the couple were said to have "grown closer" during the manager's time at St Mary's, following his split from his wife Jasmine - with whom he shares three children - last year. ‌ The former glamour model revealed their relationship in August, sharing a photo of her and Martin in his hometown of Brighton - where he was receiving an honorary degree - on Instagram. When their relationship was revealed, a source told The Sun: "They're a match made in heaven - or at least in Southampton. They're mad for each other." Pinder is also close friends with Cardiff-born model and Gary Lineker's ex-wife Danielle Bux, with the two women recently sharing photos of a night of wine and games that was also attended by Martin and the former Match of the Day host. ‌ Bux - who was married to Lineker between 2009 and 2016 but has remained close friends with him since - posted pictures on Instagram of the evening with Lineker's son Harry, 31 and her daughter Ella Willis also in attendance. Lineker previously opened up about his relationship with Bux, telling The Mirror that they split up due to the fact that he didn't want any more children. "Danielle and I are best mates, we still speak three times a day, we text all the time," he said. "When she comes to London she stays with me, and when I go to Los Angeles I see her. Article continues below "It might be unusual and people might go, 'That's weird' but, frankly, I don't care. What is normal? Is it better to get divorced and end up fighting, screaming and shouting? Or is it better to get on if you can?"
