The commentators were more focused on the impressive shot than the damage caused, with one saying: "That's hit and hit long into the car park. That's massive, it's nearly out of the ground. Can the owner of a white Mercedes please give us the ball back?"
Jones went on to score 55 runs off 39 balls before getting out in the following over.
The match concluded with James Neesham securing a four-wicket victory for Lancashire with a single on the final ball.
The T20 match also marked a memorable return for 42-year-old James Anderson, who took three wickets while conceding just 17 runs, helping restrict Durham to 150 runs for 6 wickets.
Lancashire's victory maintained their perfect record with three wins from three matches, placing them at the top of the North Group points table. Durham currently sit in sixth position after playing two matches.Watch: Car rear window smashed by six during Durham vs Lancashire
