A television star of the 1970s looked unrecognisable as he posed for a photo at the 64th Monte-Carlo television festival.
He's been on our screens for more than 60 years having first landed a role in cinema in Shirley Clarke's 1964 film The Cool World.
The actor went on to make his presence felt in a number of films of the early 1970s including Shaft, Foxy Brown and Huckleberry Finn before landing the role he is most famous for later in the decade.
Transitioning into television, the star bagged a part in Starsky & Hutch - a series following Detectives Ken 'Hutch' Hutchinson (David Soul) and Dave Starsky (Paul Michael Glaser) as they fought crime on the streets of the fictional Bay City, California.
The mystery man in-question played a golden hearted street informant who came to be a much-loved character during the era - but would you recognise him all these years later?

The star pictured kicking back in the sun on Tuesday is none other than American actor Antonio Fargas, 78, who played the golden-hearted street informant Huggy Bear in Starsky and Hutch.
Some 50 years after the show first aired, the father-of-one attended the festival sporting a stylish white button-up shirt along with a pair of cream coloured slacks.
Sporting a new-look goatee beard and seeming in great spirits, the grey fox posed for pictures on the coast in picturesque Monaco before heading to the Golden Nymph Awards Nominees Party at the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel.
While he is arguably most famous for his role in Starsky & Hutch, Antonio's career actually continued to flourish after the show finished.
He has appeared in more than 50 movies and TV shows during an extended career in the world of acting, including a role as a 90-year-old witch doctor in The Great White Hope and as Baz in the British boxing film Sucker Punch in 2006.
British viewers may also remember Antonio from an appearance he made on the hugely popular ITV show I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! during series 4 in 2004.
Antonio's inclusion on the Ant and Dec fronted show was somewhat short-lived however, with the 78-year-old the fourth celebrity to be voted out.
But he's no doubt best known as Huggy Bear, with Antonio admitting that it's 'special' to be remembered as the character.
During an interview with Gloria Hunniford in 2006, he said: 'It's amazing, thank goodness I'm very comfortable with being a character-based actor.
'After so many years in the business to still identify with a show that was so special to me, it's amazing.
'I just enjoy my life, I've been able to do lots of other things and I'm still creating things and new adventures, so I'm very happy.'
Speaking about what made Starsky & Hutch so successful, Antonio added: 'I think the main attraction was relationships.
'There was these two guys (Starsky & Hutch) who cared for each other and had each other's back, plus they were two good-looking guys.
'You also had a car, and music and clothes and a hip-talking informer and you don't think about what it's going to be and if it's going to last forever.
'It was a job, and we worked hard, had fun and tried to make it good. And we did a good job.'
Antonio has one son, Justin Fargos, who studied at the University of Southern California before going on to enjoy a a professional career in the NFL, playing seven seasons as a running back for the Oakland Raiders.

Josh Allen shares behind-the-scenes glimpse of romantic honeymoon with new wife Hailee Steinfeld

Josh Allen has enjoyed a whirlwind offseason of romance, packing in a fairytale wedding and tropical getaway honeymoon with wife Hailee Steinfeld before the 2025 NFL season gets underway. The Buffalo Bills quarterback, 29, tied the knot with the Marvel star, 28, in a beautiful ceremony at the San Ysidro ranch in Montecito, California late last month. And, in between the Bills' mandatory minicamp, which ran from June 10 to 12, the reigning NFL MVP whisked his new bride away on a romantic vacation to celebrate the nuptials. Allen shared a rare glimpse of the couple's love life Tuesday, when he posted a number of snaps from their honeymoon to Instagram. He posted a photos displaying several Polaroid printouts showing the loved-up couple and their newly-wed bliss. He simply captioned the post: 'Wifey.' While it remains unclear exactly where the couple jetted off to, one photo showed Steinfeld leaning into her new husband with the pair wearing pink leis - flower garlands associated with Hawaiian culture - around their necks. One of the snaps showed the actress posing in a pink swimsuit with a hibiscus tucked behind her ear, while another captured her with the outlines of palm trees visible in the background. It appears they also enjoyed a round of golf with the Pitch Perfect actress captured at the top of her backswing. The 'Starving' songstress shared a twin post, sharing a similar photo of multiple Polaroids and writing, 'HUSBAND!,' in the caption. However, hers displayed images from their special day. Steinfeld had been all smiles when she wed quarterback fiancé Josh Allen in a sunset ceremony, which included Larry David among its star-studded guests, in California on May 31. Exclusive photos showed the moment a beaming Steinfeld made her way up the aisle on the arm of her proud dad Peter, never taking her eyes off Allen. In a modern twist, the actress dispensed with the traditional bridal bouquet and instead, accessorized her gown with full-length white gloves, large diamond studs and a frothy veil. Later, the couple were seen celebrating saying 'I do' with a kiss in front of a clapping crowd of guests, with a dark suit-clad Allen seen looking proud as he made his way back down the aisle with his new wife. The al-fresco wedding took place at the tony San Ysidro ranch in Montecito – a celebrity favorite that has previously seen Chris Pratt , Gwyneth Paltrow and Jessica Simpson marry in its grounds. Along with Steinfeld's dad Peter, her mom Cheri and brother Griffin were among the guests looking on, as were Allen's parents Joel and LaVonne, and his siblings Jason, Nicala and Makenna. Allen returned to Bills minicamp last week showing off a black wedding band as he spoke about a huge offseason which has also seen him win the MVP and sign a record-setting contract with $250million guaranteed. 'They've all been big, none other than marrying my best friend, and she makes everything easier,' he told reporters of the accomplishments. 'So I don't really focus on the other stuff. That was the most important decision I'll make in my life, and I made the right one.' Allen was in good spirits during the press conference but was otherwise hesitant to talk too much about his wedding day, which he and Steinfeld largely kept under wraps beforehand. Nonetheless, he proudly flashed his wedding band as he took to the field for Bills minicamp in Orchard Park, New York. Allen and Steinfeld were engaged during the Bills bye week in November, when the quarterback proposed on a California cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The two were first linked in the spring of 2023, when they were photographed dining together in New York City. Steinfeld has since begun attending Bills home games, and the couple hosted a Halloween party. The couple also walked the red carpet together at the NFL Honors ceremony in February, when Allen credited Steinfeld upon accepting the league's MVP award.

Hollywood star makes thinly veiled dig at Dakota Johnson whining over Madame Web

One year ago, Russell Crowe called out Dakota Johnson by name for bad-mouthing her superhero box office bomb Madame Web, and now another movie star has made a thinly-veiled dig at her. Rachel Brosnahan - who plays Lois Lane in the upcoming Superman reboot - doesn't understand 'why people say yes' to these sort of projects 'only to then turn around and complain about it.' 'Look, I don't want to s*** on other actors,' the 34-year-old Marvelous Mrs. Maisel alum vented to Amanda Seyfried via Interview on Monday. 'But there was a minute where it was cool to not like superhero movies and to look back on projects like this and pooh-pooh them. Do it or don't do it, and then stand by it.' Seyfried replied: 'I honestly don't think you should call it a superhero movie ever again, because it isn't just that, and I think people are going to see that. It's really important to have this kind superhero, this guy who's just trying to do his best.' The 35-year-old nepo baby of Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith took on the role of clairvoyant paramedic Cassandra Webb in S. J. Clarkson's movie from Sony's Spider-Man Universe, which only earned $100.5M back from its $100M budget. Madame Web also had a dismal 11% critic approval rating (out of 265 reviews) and a 53% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. 'I had never done anything like it before. I probably will never do anything like it again because I don't make sense in that world. And I know that now,' Dakota scoffed to Bustle last year. 'But sometimes in this industry, you sign on to something, and it's one thing and then as you're making it, it becomes a completely different thing, and you're like, '"Wait, what?"' Three months after Johnson's comments, Russell Crowe - who acted in Man of Steel and Thor: Love and Thunder - felt the urge to respond. 'You're telling me you signed up for a Marvel movie, and some f***ing universe for cartoon characters … and you didn't get enough pathos?' the 61-year-old Oscar winner told British GQ. 'These are jobs. Here's your role, play the role. If you're expecting this to be some kind of life-changing event, I just think you're here for the wrong reasons.' Earlier this month, the Materialists actress - who claimed the script went through 'drastic changes' - blamed Madame Web's poor performance on the fact that 'creative decisions are made by committee' and declared: 'It wasn't my fault.' 'Or made by people who don't have a creative bone in their body. And it's really hard to make art that way. Or to make something entertaining that way,' Dakota told the Los Angeles Times. 'Unfortunately, with Madame Web, it started out as something and turned into something else. And I was just sort of along for the ride at that point. But that happens. Bigger-budget movies fail all the time.' Seyfried replied: 'I honestly don't think you should call it a superhero movie ever again, because it isn't just that, and I think people are going to see that. It's really important to have this kind superhero, this guy who's just trying to do his best' (pictured June 2) Madame Web also had a dismal 11% critic approval rating (out of 265 reviews) and a 53% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes Dakota scoffed to Bustle last year: 'I had never done anything like it before. I probably will never do anything like it again because I don't make sense in that world. And I know that now. But sometimes in this industry, you sign on to something, and it's one thing and then as you're making it, it becomes a completely different thing, and you're like, '"Wait, what?"' Three months after Johnson's comments, Russell Crowe - who acted in Man of Steel and Thor: Love and Thunder (pictured) - responded in British GQ, 'You're telling me you signed up for a Marvel movie, and some f***ing universe for cartoon characters and you didn't get enough pathos?' Johnson shaded the film, yet again, during last Thursday's webisode of Hot Ones after host Sean Evans told her he was 'no superhero' and she wisecracked: 'I am also not a superhero. Tried, failed.' Other celebs who've starred in superhero fare then publicly criticized the genre include Thor: Love and Thunder alum Christian Bale, Thor alum Anthony Hopkins, The Amazing Spider-Man alum Sally Field, Moon Knight alum Ethan Hawke, Blade alum Stephen Dorff, and Iron Man 2 alum Mickey Rourke. Meanwhile, Rachel couldn't be more thrilled to showcase her take on the pretty Daily Planet reporter previously portrayed by Amy Adams, Kate Bosworth, Erica Durance, Teri Hatcher, Margot Kidder, and Phyllis Coates. 'I've never done something that has a baked-in fan base already,' Brosnahan said. 'People have such strong feelings about [Superman] and the world and whoever's in charge of it. It's cool to be a part of something that people are so passionate about. It's definitely intimidating, too.' The Emmy winner teased some sort of special stunt she got to perform on the set: 'I got to do a different thing, which I'm not really allowed to talk about, that didn't involve wires but felt like maybe it should have. It was nuts!' James Gunn's $225M-budget reboot of Superman - hitting US theaters July 11 - also stars David Corenswet, Nicholas Hoult, Nathan Fillion, Edi Gathegi, Anthony Carrigan, and Isabela Merced. Rachel's other upcoming projects include the second season of Apple TV+ thriller Presumed Innocent, Bernard Rose's King Lear adaptation Lear Rex for Dali Films, and Halina Reijn's small-screen adaptation of Lisa Taddeo's 2019 novel Lois & Varga for Amazon Studios. On the personal front, Brosnahan and husband Jason Ralph just celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary on June 6.

And if I want to put myself in a situation where I'm staying busy so I'm not getting depressed, why have a problem with that?' the personal trailer asked rhetorically.
