Arizona dad's terrible 'mistake' that led to toddler drowning at mansion while famous wife wasn't home
The husband of a famous social media influencer who was watching his toddler when he drowned in the backyard blamed a missing pool cover and being 'distracted' by his newborn son for the tragedy, police reports suggest.
Emilie Kiser, a popular mommy blogger on TikTok, lost her three-year-old son Trigg on May 18 - six days after he was found unresponsive in a backyard pool near East Chandler Heights and South Cooper roads in Chandler, Arizona.
Brady Kiser, Trigg's father, allowed his son to go play in the backyard after eating lunch - just before the tragedy unfolded, as reported by AZ Central. Emilie was reportedly out with friends at the time.
He saw his three-year-old son playing near the pool - something police records note was 'not uncommon' - and while the pool was usually covered for safety, this time it wasn't.
However, the Brady was 'soon distracted' while caring for their newborn son and took his eyes off of Trigg for a mere three to five minutes.
When he turned his attention back to the little boy, he was met with a horrifying sight - Trigg floating lifeless in their backyard pool.
Brady immediately burst into action, jumping into the pool to retrieve their son before calling 911 to their home.
Officers performed CPR upon arrival before firefighters took over medical care.
Trigg was transported to Chandler Regional Medical Center, then transferred to Phoenix Children's Hospital, where he died on May 18 after remaining in critical condition.
While processing the scene, investigators discovered two outdoor cameras in the backyard that may have captured the moments leading up to the little boy's death, AZ Central reported.
Authorities are now working to obtain the backyard surveillance footage to corroborate Brady's account of what happened, according to search warrants obtained by the outlet.
Since authorities opened an investigation into Trigg's death, the influencer has fought to keep the police reports redacted and the medical examiner reports sealed, possibly due to her status as a TikTok influencer with around 4 million followers.
On June 4, the Arizona Superior Court for Maricopa County ruled in her favor, granting her temporary confidentiality - meaning evidence will not be released while the court makes its final ruling on the tragedy.
The 26-year-old mother's declaration 'reflects an intensely personal account of her grief and trauma' that was 'submitted to help the court understand her perspective - not for public consumption,' per the source.
In her motion, Kiser specifically urged the court to keep not just detailed records of Trigg's death private, but also footage as '100+ public records requests' for the video have come in, according to the source.
The intense amount of records requests 'only serves to satisfy morbid curiosity more than any type of justice,' they added.
Kiser 'should not be forced to relive the aftermath through viral footage,' the source stated.
'The motions behind the push for release are concerning. In many cases, requests appear to be driven by monetization and notoriety, not accountability,' they continued. 'That is not a valid justification for invading a family's grief.'
The Medical Examiner's Officer has since removed summary information about Trigg's death from its website following the lawsuit filed by Emilie.
Emilie's legal team has also since agreed that certain government records related to the investigation into her son's death - including redacted police and medical examiner reports - may be released, AZ Central reported.
However, they emphasized that any information released should carefully balance Emilie's right to privacy with the public's right to know.
Following the tragic ordeal, a neighbor told DailyMail.com that the influencer's house was swarmed with five police cars.
Emergency responders arrived and performed life-saving efforts until Trigg was airlifted to Phoenix Children's Hospital for specialized care.
Emilie hasn't posted since the tragedy, but her followers have continued to flood her accounts with messages of support and condolences before she turned off her comment sections.
Meanwhile, Brady made his accounts private following Trigg's death.
Kiser and Brady first became parents in July 2021 when they welcomed their son Trigg.
Just over two years later, in September 2024, the couple revealed they were expecting their second child.
In March, the Kiser family officially grew by one with the arrival of their second son, Theodore.
'Emilie is trying her best to be there for her surviving son, two-month-old Theodore. But every day is a battle,' the suit said.

George Santos ripped for ulterior motive after emerging from oblivion with pro-Trump message
Convicted fraudster and former Congressman George Santos released a video praising President Donald Trump 's leadership as the U.S. teeters on the brink of war with Iran. Breaking his silence after he was sentenced to over seven years in prison for wire fraud and identity theft, Santos, 36, took to social media to speak out against critics of the commander-in-chief amid the Israel-Iran conflict. 'Hey folks its been real, and its also been a minute,' the convicted former congressman says in a selfie video posted on X. 'I'm kind of here just because I needed to stand by President Trump for this, because it's important to me.' Santos shared in the video that he learned from the Iranian community in the new York district he used to represent all about the country's revolution and the overthrow of the shah in 1979. 'The Ayatollah is a regime of terror, of suppression, of lack of liberties. I just want to remind everybody President Trump is doing the right thing in assisting Israel in clearing the Ayatollah and eradicating them from the face of the earth.' 'It's time to free Iranians. It's time to allow Iranians to be free again and to eliminate the threat of nuclear terror in the Middle East.' His message seemed to be a direct hit at some of Trump's MAGA fans including ex-Fox News star Tucker Carlson and others who have warned him against directly attacking Iran. But the 95-second long video from home may have had another motivation, some astute X observers mentioned, like earning the prison-bound Santos a pardon from the president. 'Pardon hunting,' one user commented on Santos' video. Another wrote: 'Might as well go hard for the pardon, nothing to lose at this point.' 'Wait, I thought you were in jail?' commented someone else. Santos was ordered by a New York court to surrender by July 25. 'No more stop,' Santos defended the president in the video. 'This is a misguided attack on a man who's trying to make the world a safer place.' 'Iran must be dealt with with force,' he added. 'It is time, and high time we take action.' 'I stand with Israel for fighting this oppressive regime, and I stand with all of those involved in ridding the earth of this cancer that is the Ayatollah.' The fraudster pledged to stand by Trump whatever he decides. During Santos' case earlier this year, the prosecution painted the former lawmaker as a bombastic serial liar who eventually turned to criminality to support his expensive lifestyle that was built on audacious fabrications. Santos would go on tirades on social media, claiming he did not commit crimes that he admitted in court and lashing out at his detractors. Some of the evidence included how Santos called Department of Justice a 'cabal of pedophiles.' It also included social media posts in which he denied using campaign funds to make purchases at Hermès, despite having done so. 'Santos did use campaign contributions made to Redstone Strategies LLC to make luxury purchases at, among other stores, Hermès,' the prosecution argued. The former congressman was also ordered to pay at least $373,749.97 in restitution and forfeit over $200,000, according to a plea agreement he made last year.

DoorDash driver emerges as surprise Idaho murders witness who could doom Bryan Kohberger with four words
A DoorDash driver is expecting to testify at the upcoming Idaho murders trial that she 'saw' Bryan Kohberger during a delivery on the night of the fatal stabbings. The unidentified 44-year-old woman told police during a traffic stop in Pullman, Washington, last year that she delivered food to Xana Kernodle at 1122 King Road in Moscow, Idaho, in the early hours of November 13, 2022. She uttered the words 'I saw Brian there' to officers - adding that she parked right next to him. The purported delivery is alleged to have taken place just minutes before Kernodle, her boyfriend Ethan Chaplin, and two roommates, Kaylee Goncalves and Madison Mogen, were all stabbed to death by a masked assailant. The woman also told an officer with the Pullman Police Department that she may be called to the stand to testify at Kohberger's trial, according to body-camera video of the conversation posted to YouTube. 'I have to testify in a big murder case here... because I'm the DoorDash driver, so yeah,' the woman says in the clip, as she's being questioned over a suspected DUI in September 2024. When asked what case, she responds: 'The murder case with the college girls...I saw Bryan there - I parked right next to him.' True crime sleuths picked up on the video, and the woman's connection to the Kohberger case was reported in the Idaho Statesman on Tuesday. Her name has been redacted from court documents. The woman's credibility as a witness is likely to be called into question because Pullman PD accused her of driving while under the influence of drugs. The outcome of that DUI case is not clear. The woman initially pulled over for driving a pickup truck with expired registration tags. Court records show that Kernodle received a DoorDash order at approximately 4am on Nov. 13. The order was from a Jack in the Box chain in Pullman, across the Idaho state line. Prosecutors have stated they believe the murders of the Idaho Four took place during a 13-minute window between 4.07am and 4.20am. That's when surveillance footage captured what police allege was a white Hyundai Elantra in the home's vicinity, matching the description of a vehicle owned by Kohberger. The unnamed woman's account of delivering DoorDash to Kernodle matches the chain of events shared in recent court filings. Additionally, a private investigator who worked on behalf of the Goncalves family told them the DoorDash driver was female, Steve Goncalves, Kaylee's father, reportedly told the Statesman. The surprise emergence of the DoorDash driver comes ahead of a hearing Wednesday, where Judge Steven Hippler will address the defense's request to once again delay Kohberger's trial. In an 11th-hour move, Kohberger's defense is asking the judge to delay the trial, citing a recent Dateline episode that revealed bombshell new details and pointed to a potential evidence leak in the case. In the show, released in early May, the suspected killer's phone records, porn habits and online searches for Ted Bundy were revealed for the first time. Dateline also aired never-before-seen surveillance footage of a suspect vehicle fleeing the horrific crime scene on November 13, 2022. The defense argued that they need more time to effectively prepare for trial and investigate Kohberger's 'life story' ahead of the potential penalty phase. Prosecutors, however, are pushing for the trial to commence in August as planned. They emphasize the importance of the victims' families receiving justice without further delay. If the trial goes ahead as planned, jury selection will begin in late July or early August, with the trial beginning on August 11. Kohberger, 30, who is from Pennsylvania, was studying for a Ph.D. in criminology at Washington State University, just a 10-mile drive from the King Road, at the time of the murders. He faces four counts of first-degree murder and one of felony burglary. If convicted, Kohberger faces the death penalty.

EXCLUSIVE 911 audio reveals why Scott Wolf's estranged wife Kelley was hauled off to hospital by police at Utah resort
Scott Wolf's estranged wife was hauled off in handcuffs by police because she had threatened to kill herself at a swank Utah resort, newly-released 911 audio reveals. exclusively obtained the recording of Friday evening's phone call that led to Utah County Sheriff's deputies to haul Kelley Wolf, 48, off to the hospital following a serious 'mental health' incident. The 11 ½-minute call was made by an unidentified female friend who requested assistance at the Sundance Resort, citing concerns over Kelley's 'escalating mental health crisis' that she said had stretched over 'several weeks to months.' 'Last night she threatened to kill herself a couple times,' the panicked friend tells the dispatcher. 'I'm terrified she's gonna act on it.' The caller said Kelley's father had been on the phone with her while she made threats to take her own life, and had been trying to keep her on the line. She also noted that the mom-of-three had become increasingly paranoid and resistant to intervention when they tried to get her help in the past. 'She's been very skittish, very anti-getting help,' the caller said. 'I feel like she'll run or do not think she will cooperate.' 'She gets very upset that people think she's crazy and.... at times she's hopped on an airplane and left, and other times she's gotten in her car and left...' The woman described Kelley as 'blonde, 5ft. 5in, with very blonde hair, short like in a bob'. She also called her 'super-thin'. 'We have been trying to get her to get some help for weeks to months,' the caller said. 'She gets very upset if people thinks she's crazy.' She said there had been multiple 911 calls to the couple's home over recent months. Kelley, who announced her divorce to Party of Five actor husband Scott on June 10, captured the moment she was apprehended by police while filming herself on Instagram Live last Friday. According to the call, she had been staying at the resort, 45 miles away from the family's Park City home, since Wednesday. The caller notes that Kelley was believed to be staying at Sundance with her 11-year-old daughter at some point, but was alone at the time police were called for help. She also informs the dispatcher that there have been 'multiple 911 calls to her house in Summit County over the last month'. At several points, the caller can be heard attempting to coordinate with Kelley's father in real time to provide details to police, even relaying to the dispatcher: 'he says she's hysterical, send help'. Moments later she passes on another message from her father saying: 'if she finds out [about police] she will run.' When asked if Kelley has access to any weapons or firearms, the friend says no, but expressed concern about her mental state and potential use of other means. 'I don't think she does, but she's crafty so maybe...' she says. As the dispatcher confirms that deputies are on the way, the friend informs her of another incident that occurred at the resort's restaurant the previous day. 'She threw herself on the ground and was saying, "He's abusing me",' the caller says, referencing what appeared to be an incident witnessed by resort security and other guests. 'Security got involved, and she threatened to call 911.' Authorities later confirmed that Kelley was taken to Utah Valley Hospital in Provo on Friday, but only vaguely citing her 'concerning comments to a family member'. Neighbors told that Kelley has not been seen at the family home in Park City, since last Sunday, June 8. on Monday also confirmed that a family friend has been helping with the couple's three kids, Jackson, 16, Miller, 12, and Lucy, 11, while Scott had been out of town during his wife's apparent crisis. Days before the police visit, Kelley took to social media to announce the couple's split on June 10, nearly two weeks after what would have been their 21st wedding anniversary. 'It is with a heavy heart that Scott and I are moving forward with the dissolution of our marriage,' the Real World: New Orleans alumna began. 'This has been a long, quiet journey for me – rooted in hope, patience, and care for our children.' Not too long after, Wolf released a separate statement, revealing he had been the one who filed for divorce, calling it, 'the most difficult decision of my life'. Scott broke cover the first time since the shocking divorce announcement, during an emotional airport reunion with his youngest son on Sunday. The Party of Five star, 57, was seen being picked up by a family friend and son Miller after touching down in Salt Lake City. Exclusive photos showed the heartfelt moment the doting father-of-three became overcome with emotion during the encounter, hugging his son tightly and lifting him off the ground in a full bear hug. New of the couple's split came as a surprise to fans, and it took a bizarre turn three days later, when Kelley, while on Instagram Live, inadvertently captured the moment she was detained by police. Early in the footage of her encounter with police, Kelley could be heard saying: 'Oh my God, this is not happening! Fine, I'll go. I'll go on my own. Please, I'll go on my own!' 'You got that arm?' said one of the deputies, and a noise that sounded like handcuffs being applied was then distinctly audible, as Kelley said: 'Wow. Wow.' She lambasted the officers: 'This is shameful, gentlemen. Look at this. Look at this woman. This is shameful. Be ashamed of yourselves, gentlemen.' A deputy assured her she was 'not going to jail,' while adding that she 'made some comments to your dad, and comments to people that concern - are concerning.' Kelley claimed: 'I think this is shameful and Scott Wolf has been abusing me and now you're abusing me more.' There is no indication that these allegations are true. It is unclear what Kelley meant by 'abuse.' She later posted an Instagram story of her personal effects laid out in front of her, including a handbag, a Gatorade bottle and a baseball cap. 'This is horrible. I have been taken against my will. Please check in on my kids. Also... I am happy!! Happier than I have ever been,' she wrote. 'I have NO idea why or how this is happening in AMERICA.' Kelley added: 'I am compliant, calm and respectful, and hopefully this is all sorted very quickly. In the meantime, be kind to each other. This is one of the darkest things I've ever experienced.' A press release by local law enforcement said: 'Deputies responded to the Sundance Resort for a report of a female that needed some help. 'Upon speaking with the female, our deputies learned that she had made concerning comments to a family member, and she also made similar comments to our deputies. For that reason, our deputies transported the female to a local hospital.' A spokesperson for the Utah County Sheriff's Office explained further: 'Typically, when we transport somebody in any of our patrol vehicles, they are placed in properly-fitted hand restraints, just for their protection and our protection as law enforcement as well.' The rep added: 'So that's what happened today: she was placed in hand restraints, placed into a vehicle, and transported by our deputies to a hospital.' The couple is yet to address the incident and specific details of their split, though their marriage appeared to be going strong as of February, when Wolf had gushed about his 'forever Valentine' on social media.
