Shock twist after father was allegedly stabbed to death
Another man is being sought by police over a 'gruesome' homicide on a suburban street, which is believed to be the outcome of a drug deal gone wrong. Detectives continued to scour the scene in Sydney's inner west on Tuesday after officers found a man aged in his 50s stabbed to death about 5pm on Monday in Croydon Park. A 32-year-old man arrested at the scene is assisting police with their inquiries and has not been charged. Another man, believed to be a 29-year-old Malaysian national, is wanted for questioning. Police released images of this man on Tuesday, saying he was last seen on the street where the stabbing occurred on Monday afternoon. The man already in custody was taken to hospital for assessment under police guard. He had attempted to flee the crime scene when police attended but was quickly apprehended, Superintendent Christine McDonald said. 'This is a gruesome crime,' she told reporters on Monday evening. Another man is being sought by police over a 'gruesome' homicide on a suburban street, which is believed to be the outcome of a drug deal gone wrong 'The man's injuries are horrific, and what we know from very preliminary investigations is that ... we believe this is a drug deal gone horribly wrong. 'We didn't give him any time to run away, we were here too quick.' On Tuesday morning, police were crawling over the quiet street as they attempted to piece together what happened. The dead man was found with multiple stab wounds to his neck and police are treating the investigation as a homicide. Speaking on Monday night, Supt McDonald said police were unsure of who lived at the house, who had attended before the fatal incident and the reason they were meeting. 'We don't believe it to be domestic-related, we don't believe it to be gang-related, but we need to work through all those steps of the investigation,' she said. 'The community down here would be shocked that something so brutal has happened in their street.' The man in his 50s who died has not yet been formally identified. Detectives continued to scour the scene in Sydney 's inner west on Tuesday after officers found a man aged in his 50s stabbed to death about 5pm on Monday in Croydon Park Supt McDonald did not detail why she believed the incident had stemmed from a drug deal. A neighbour told Daily Mail Australia on Tuesday the dead man lived with his wife and children at the Croydon Park home for just a few months before the alleged attack. 'The neighbourhood is feeling very unsettled. This is a really, really lovely quiet street,' she said. 'We do all know each other. Pretty much, we all know each other except for this particular house. 'They haven't lived here that long so we don't know much about them.'

OnlyFans model, 36, 'caught trying to smuggle nearly £200k worth of Thai cannabis into Spain' - seeing her name added to an ever growing list of British women 'becoming mules'
A glamorous OnlyFans model was allegedly found trying to smuggle around £200,000 of Thai cannabis into Spain. Clara Wilson, 36, has been charged with drug offences after '60 vacuum-packed packages' of cannabis was found in her two suitcases at El Prat airport in Barcelona. The mother-of-four from Huthwaite, Nottinghamshire, was held by the Civil Guard on January 20 after departing a Qatar Airways flight from Doha. It is believed she jetted to the Mediterranean capital from Bangkok with stops in both India and Qatar. The unemployed parent now faces four years behind bars and potential fines of over £750,000 if she is found guilty. It comes amid a recent string of British women who have been arrested for smuggle drugs to foreign countries in recent weeks. Two days after Ms Wilson's arrest, she was taken into custody at a prison near Barcelona where she awaits a trial, for which a date has not been set. According to The Sun, a three page indictment described Ms Wilson's arrest in El Prat airport. It said 'police found 60 vacuum-packed packages containing a green-coloured substance that tested positive for marijuana. The substance weighed 34,074 grams,' in suitcases the mother of four had previously checked in. It added: 'A subsequent analysis by the National Toxicology Institute of a 55 gram sample of the substance confirmed it as cannabis.' Public prosecutors claimed in the document that the drugs were being shipped by Ms Wilson with 'the intention of selling it to third parties on the black market'. They said its value would have been €213,991 (£180,820.26). MailOnline has approached the Foreign Office for comment. Ms Wilson's arrest is the latest in a recent string of British female smugglers who have been caught illegally transporting drugs worth thousands of pounds. Bella May Culley, 18, sparked a massive international search operation in recent days after she was reported missing while she was believed to be holidaying in Thailand. However it was later revealed the teen, from Billingham, County Durham, had been arrested 4,000 miles away on drug offences in Georgia. Culley had allegedly being caught carrying 30 pounds (14kg) of cannabis into the ex-Soviet nation after she was flagged during a scanner check at Tbilisi International Airport. She previously spoke to MailOnline where she admitted that she had not been eating because the food was too spicy She was traveling around the Philippines and Thailand before she boarded the flight to Georgia from Bangkok, and has claimed in court that she is pregnant. Culley has also confided in legal sources that she was in love with a mystery man who now forms a central part of the investigation. Elsewhere in Colombo, Sri Lanka, Charlotte May Lee, 21, from Coulsdon, south London, was arrested after police allegedly discovered 46 kg of 'Kush' - a synthetic strain of cannabis - in her suitcase. She is facing up to 25 years locked in a hellhole Sri Lankan jail - but she has insisted she has been set up. New Mexico police officer dies following traffic stop shooting
A police officer from northwestern New Mexico has died, several days after being critically injured when a man opened fire during a traffic stop. Law enforcement agencies gathered Sunday to escort the body of Bloomfield Police Officer Timothy Ontiveros from an Albuquerque hospital, where he had undergone multiple surgeries over recent days, to the office of the state medical investigator. A procession back to Bloomfield will be held Tuesday. Ontiveros had pulled over a man for a traffic violation on Memorial Day. Authorities said the man refused to roll down his window or provide identification. After negotiations failed, officers opted to arrest him and broke a window to take him into custody. The man subsequently began shooting, hitting Ontiveros and narrowly missing a second officer at the scene. That officer returned fire, striking and killing the suspect. Authorities said the man had a record that included previous arrests for assault, trespassing, resisting an officer and threatening hospital staff. Ontiveros, 33, previously worked for the Farmington Police Department and was a volunteer firefighter for the neighboring community of Aztec. A GoFundMe page was set up to help his family. 'In his short time with the agency, he demonstrated kindness, professionalism, and dedication to the safety of the community he served,' Bloomfield Police Chief Phillip Francisco said Sunday in a social media post. Ontiveros had joined Bloomfield police in December. Francisco asked for the community's support as the department navigated what he called a tremendous loss. Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham also mourned the loss of the officer. 'His death is a heartbreaking reminder of the dangers our law enforcement officers face every single day,' she said in a statement Sunday.
