Google Pixel 10 full specs leaked, launch pegged for August 20: Everything you need to know
Here we go again. Much in the same way it has been with almost every Pixel phone to date, Google can't – once again – catch a break and stop leaks taking the better of it. The Pixel 10, which is Google's next, and might we add, hotly anticipated Pixel phone, has leaked in full glory leaving little to the imagination ahead of imminent launch, the final date of which is out now per rumour mills. Right out of the gate, speculation is rife that Google will launch the Pixel 10 series on August 20 with sales beginning from August 28. Given Google's big push over the last year or so, we can expect the phones to launch and go on sale in India at around the same time.advertisementEasily the most sought-after upgrade planned for the upcoming Pixel 10 line-up is Google's Tensor G5 chip. As to why it's such a big deal, the reason is simple: Google is expected to swap partners and so, the Tensor G5 is widely expected to be made by TSMC (on its advanced 3-nanometre node) and not Samsung. The change is likely to make the upcoming Pixel 10 series phones more efficient with real-world benefits extending to their overall performance and battery life. But this is old news really. We've known about this development for months if not years.Folks over at Android Headlines have managed to grab hold of almost every other spec you might be interested in, whether as a reader or a potential buyer. The publication's exclusive report takes the lid off some super-fine updates allegedly in the pipeline while also highlighting some that might disappoint some people. We'll touch upon them one by one.advertisement
The Pixel 10 reportedly has a 6.3-inch 1080p AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, same as the soon-outgoing Pixel 9. The difference is that the Pixel 10's screen can apparently get brighter. According to the report, Google might be looking to bump up the output from 1,800nits to 2,000nits in high brightness mode while peak brightness is said to go up from 2,700nits to 3,000nits. The Pixel 10 Pro models have separately been leaked and said to offer more eye-friendly screens with better PWM dimming. For photography, the Pixel 10 is said to come with a trio of shooters on the back, a combination of 48-megapixel wide (same as the Pixel 9a apparently), a 12-megapixel ultrawide, and another 10.8-megapixel 5x telephoto (same as the Pixel 9 Pro Fold).Under the hood, the Pixel 10 is reported to come with a 4,970mAh battery with 29W wired and 15W wireless charging over the new Qi2 standard. RAM is expected to be 12GB by default while storage can be either 128GB or 256GB. Like the Pixel 9 series, the Pixel 10 will be expected to get seven years of software support from Google.- Ends

Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff has claimed that AI is now performing '30% to 50% of the work' at the company. The latest statement highlights the major automation potential of artificial intelligence within the enterprise software giant. Benioff made this comment during an interview on Bloomberg's The Circuit show with Emily Chang, specifically pointing to job functions such as software engineering and customer service. This statement follows similar claims from other tech leaders, including Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella and Google-parent Alphabet's chief Sundar Pichai, who have also mentioned that AI is generating about 30% of new computer software code on some projects. Earlier, Salesforce also noted that its internal use of AI has enabled the company to reduce its hiring needs. What CEO Marc Benioff said about using AI at Salesforce In the interview, Benioff noted: 'All of us have to get our head around this idea that AI can do things that before we were doing,' Benioff said. 'We can move on to do higher-value work.' The US-based software company is also developing an AI product designed to manage tasks like customer service without human involvement. iPhone 17 Pro Camera Upgrades Could Include Four New Features: What We Know
Last Updated: iPhone 17 Pro camera features are expected to have people excited and Apple could bring not one or two but four new changes. iPhone 17 Pro will be the next big attention seeker for Apple this year, and its delays in making AI work puts the onus on the new models to really get people excited. We have seen details about the iPhone 17 Pro leak in the last few months, including the rumoured iPhone case for the 17 Pro which shows the new camera module likely to be made official later this year. The company is being tipped to offer as many as four new features with the latest 17 Pro and Pro Max models which they hope will lure more people into spending big for the Pros. Here's a look at the features that are being reported to be part of the latest premium series. New Camera Look Apple is rumoured to be taking the camera bar route with the iPhone 17 Pro series and the leaks have vouched for the change. People have criticised the size of the camera bump for the last few years, this module will at least allow Apple to balance the profile at the back. The LED flash and other sensors will be sitting at the other end of the cameras, which means Apple wants to make full use of the space. We hope to see the company give reasons for this change, and hopefully that includes bringing a more advanced sensor in play. The 48MP Camera Trio That's not all, one of the biggest upgrades with the iPhone 17 Pro series camera setup is expected to be the new 48MP telephoto lens which could replace the current 12MP lens of the same ilk. This means Apple could bring a full set of 48MP sensors for its triple camera system with this year's iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max models. Apple is tipped to change the lens by offering a periscope version which will surely have people excited. iPhone's selfie game has been behind the rivals but the 24MP TrueDepth sensor on the front could lighten up the competition. The Pro models have always looked to stand out from the regular versions and for their top price, they have needed those upgrades. It is high time that Apple changes its focus on the front camera and really goes for the juggernaut which could happen this year. Dual-Cam Video Recording Apple could finally make it possible to use both front and rear cameras to record content with the iPhone 17 Pro series. The feature itself is not new as we have seen brands like Nokia and Samsung along with apps like Snapchat offer the use of dual cameras to shoot videos. Earlier reports have hinted at this addition and we feel it might happen now that the front camera is also getting a boost this year. The overall The 17 Pro camera setup is likely to get a LiDAR scanner, along with a trio of 48MP sensors, which could be the periscope telephoto lens. Having said that, the bigger changes and upgrades are likely to be reserved for the iPhone 19 series when it comes out next year. First Published: June 26, 2025, 07:20 IST
