Computex 2025: Elgato Stream Deck Integration for New Corsair SCIMITAR ELITE WIRELESS SE Announced
At Computex 2025, Corsair and Elgato have announced a new collaboration, integrating the SCIMITAR ELITE WIRELESS SE mouse with the Stream Deck.
Elgato was purchased by Corsair back in 2018, and today, we are seeing a collaboration between the two brands. The Elgato Stream Deck is an invaluable tool for streamers and creators, allowing users to access simple commands with a press of a button. The Corsair SCIMITAR ELITE WIRELESS SE is a wireless MMO gaming mouse that features 16 programmable buttons, with 12 on the side for thumb access.
'Collaboration can result in some truly great outcomes,' said Vice President and General Manager of Gaming Peripherals, Tobias Brinkmann. 'We realized that the SCIMITAR ELITE WIRELESS SE and Elgato Stream Deck were a perfect fit. The integration with Elgato's Virtual Stream Deck provides users with the ability to map the 12 buttons on the Key Slider to a world of new functions.'
He went on, 'They now have the freedom to think beyond MMO and streaming setups, expanding into crafting the ultimate setups for their daily workflows. When our brands work together like this, we can deliver unmatched products and functionality, and we will aim to leverage that advantage whenever possible.'
With the SCIMiTAR ELITE WIRELESS SE's built-in Stream Deck functionality, those 12 side buttons can now be programmed to the Stream Deck's functions. They also unlock the Virtual Stream Deck, which allows for clickable shortcuts positioned anywhere on-screen or via hotkeys. The service is completely customizable via the Elgato Stream Deck software, and plugins and profiles can be found on the Elgato Marketplace.
'Combined with Stream Deck, SCIMITAR ELITE WIRELESS SE becomes so much more than a mouse,' said General Manager of Elgato, Julian Fest. 'It doesn't just control your games — it controls your entire setup, from audio and lighting to meetings and macros. With Virtual Stream Deck, you can summon even more control without lifting your hand. This kind of deep integration is built into the Elgato ecosystem, and it's a big reason why Stream Deck remains the benchmark for streamlining workflows.'
Elgato and Corsair are working together to create ultimate tools for gamers and creators, and this is only the beginning. 'Starting in 2025, CORSAIR brands will be more actively pursuing natural synergies and collaborations that will take CORSAIR customers' user experiences, capabilities, and satisfaction to the next level.'

Nvidia's rumored gaming laptop APU just spotted in new leak — what we know
The gigantic Computex convention just ended, but some things were missing from the overstuffed event, including Nvidia's first-ever consumer-grade laptop CPU. Nvidia showcased a lot at Computex 2025, including an RTX-powered AI avatar and several RTX 5060 laptops and desktops. MSI even showcased the MS-C931, which features the Nvidia GB10 ARM 'superchip', but that is meant for AI applications and not for everyday use. Unfortunately, we didn't see the rumored gaming laptop APU. Instead, our first look is coming from the YouTuber Moore's Law is Dead, who highlighted the APU in a recent video. In the video (around 40 minutes), Moore's Law shows an image of the new APU that is purportedly an engineering sample of the new silicon, attached to at least eight memory modules. The sample hints at an AMD Strix Halo-esque configuration with an onboard iGPU and a TDP of 80 to 120 watts. Likely, Nvidia's APU will be on an ARM device with a CPU allegedly developed by MediaTek. Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips. This type of integrated build is likely to be the future of gaming laptops. We can see how well it works with the AMD APU in the Asus ROG Flow Z13. There, we see that dedicated graphics have been ditched in favor of an integrated powerhouse in the Ryzen AI Max 390. Beyond powerful graphics, having it all integrated and quick access to LPDDR means that laptops utilizing this silicon will be more battery efficient, something gaming laptops have lacked until now. Plus, it builds toward a stronger handheld gaming experience as more handheld gaming PCs are likely to feature this kind of architecture. For another hint, the Nintendo Switch 2, which launches next week on June 5, features a custom Nvidia Tegra chip that has already shown how DLSS can extract higher performance out of games. According to the Moore's Law source, the Nvidia APU is expected to launch either late this year or in early 2026, which aligns with previous rumors that suggested we would see this new APU in 2025.

Ford recalls nearly 1.1 million vehicles over rearview camera software issue
By David Shepardson (Reuters) -Ford Motor is recalling nearly 1.1 million vehicles in the United States because rearview cameras may not display images due to a software issue, increasing the risk of a crash. The recall covers some 2021 through 2024 model year Bronco, F-150, Edge, and 2023-2024 Escape, Corsair, F-250, F-350, F-450, F-550 and F-600 vehicles, the automaker said Wednesday in a filing with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The recall also impacts the 2022-2024 Expedition, 2022-2025 Transit, 2021-2023 Mach-E, Lincoln Nautilus, 2024 Ranger, Mustang and the 2022-2024 Navigator. NHTSA said the software issue may cause the rearview camera image to delay, freeze, or not display. Ford said it is aware of one allegation of a minor crash resulting in property damage tied to the issue. In January, NHTSA contacted Ford regarding allegations of more than three dozen rear-view camera complaints on 2021-2023 Ford F-150 vehicles. In April, a Ford engineering team was able to reproduce the failure mode within a vehicle and link the causal factors to specific software variants. Dealers are expected to update vehicle software through an over-the-air update. The software being recalled serves as an operating system for the car's dashboard, helping its infotainment system to control apps and display maps, among others. Letters notifying owners of the safety risk are expected to be mailed by June 16. A second letter will be sent once the remedy is available later this year. Ford in April issued two other recalls in the United States for rearview camera issues covering about 289,000 vehicles in total. For both recalls, the automaker will replace rearview cameras. In November, NHTSA said Ford had agreed to a $165 million civil penalty after an agency investigation found the automaker failed to recall vehicles with defective rearview cameras in a timely manner. NHTSA in August 2021 opened an investigation after Ford in 2020 recalled about 620,000 vehicles for a rear camera issue to determine whether the carmaker had made the recall in a timely fashion. Ford expanded that recall in 2022 and in March adding about 24,000 vehicles.
