A Virgin passenger trying to fly from Perth to Melbourne has been booted off the plane after arguing with a flight attendant. Footage from inside the plane captured the moment the Perth woman begins to disagree with a request from the flight attendant to remove her bum bag. With the plane waiting to take off, the situation escalated. In the footage, the woman can be seen pointing and starting to yell. 'You're telling me to take my clothes off on a plane? F*** off,' she said. 'No, I didn't say that,' the flight attendant replied. 'You had a bum bag on, in the event of an evacuation, we need to make sure you're safe and everyone else is safe,' the flight attendant explained. When the passenger continued to refuse to remove the bag, the attendant eventually gave up, getting support from another member of the flight crew. 'The AFP will deal with you, good luck,' the attendant can be heard saying. Officers from the Australian Federal Police arrived soon after, removing the woman from the flight. The 28-year-old was charged over the incident and will appear in court at a later date.
