Wyandotte County announces winner for ‘I Voted' sticker contest
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Wyandotte County Election Office has announced the winning design for the first-ever 'I Voted' sticker design contest.
The design was created by . It will be featured as the official 'I Voted' sticker and distributed to thousands of voters throughout Wyandotte County during the 2025 election cycle.

The design contest was for Wyandotte County middle and high school students.
'We believe this contest will not only inspire students to engage in the democratic process but will also give them an opportunity to learn more about elections and civic responsibility—planting the seeds for future voters,' said Wyandotte County Election Commissioner Michael Abbott.
The election office said that due to the success of the contest, it plans to host the contest again next year.

Proposed bill seeks more funding for Pennsylvania school transportation
(WHTM) — Legislation that aims to help get more funding for school transportation in Pennsylvania has advanced. House Bill 1326 would require districts to report the number of students who use transportation and the costs to the Pennsylvania Department of Education. The bill would also let districts track mileage through GPS instead of tracking it manually. State Reps. Paul Friel and John Schlegel sponsored the bill. 'Over the past year, in a bipartisan manner, Representative Schlegel and I have spearheaded a work group with school transportation contractors, statewide associations representing school business, state department officials and school district transportation directors from across the commonwealth with the common goal to modernize Pennsylvania's school transportation laws,' Friel said. (WETM) — In New York State, the Republican Primary Elections are at the end of June, but early voting starts on Saturday, with 5 municipalities holding elections in Chemung County.
