3.05 Chantilly – Prix de Diane (Group 1, 1m 2½f)
BEDTIME STORY (NB) looked all over a Group 1 horse last year when running away with the Listed Chesham Stakes at Royal Ascot.
It hasn't happened for her yet, as she has been too headstrong, but the way she ran on to finish sixth in the French 1,000 Guineas on her season reappearance – when hooded for the first time – was encouraging, and Ryan Moore now takes over again in the saddle.
This step up in trip will suit Aidan O'Brien's filly, just as long as she relaxes enough, remembering that she's closely related to the same stable's 1m 4f Group 1 winner Content, who was also headstrong. But there's no doubt she has a serious engine.
Selection: Bedtime Story @ 5/1 with William Hill
3.45 Hamilton – Class 2 Novice Stakes (6f)
Five two-year-olds run in this one and, of the two of them that have form, Big Fun sets a decent standard on the evidence of his debut second at over this trip Pontefract.
However, all of the newcomers cost a few quid and VINCENZO PERUGGIA, who went for 550,000gns as a yearling, might be best of the bunch.
4.00 Salisbury – Class 3 Novice Stakes (6f)
Another field of lightly raced and unraced juveniles, so plenty of guesswork is required again. But maybe ORION'S BELT, a 105,000gns yearling who as the sole filly in the line-up gets weight from all 10 of her rivals, can make a winning debut.
She's one of two runners in the race for Richard Hannon, and looks to be the stable's first string in a race that bears the title of the Happy 80th Birthday Richard Hannon Snr British EBF Novice Stakes.
4.15 Hamilton – Class 4 Handicap (6f)
FUJI MOUNTAIN struggled over the minimum trip at Chester last time out, but he was drawn widest around that tight circuit in a Class 3 contest.
He now drops in grade and won't mind if rain gets into the ground, with unsettled weather forecast. He was a non-runner at Chester on Saturday, when again drawn wide.
This is his first start at 6f but it might suit him, given his dam was a Listed winner over this trip.
Selection: Fuji Mountain @ SP with William Hill
4.30 Salisbury – Class 2 Fillies' Novice Stakes (1m 2f)
This is another race with limited form to go on, as two of the five runners are newcomers.
The form standard is fair but the two debutantes, both trained by William Haggas, really take the eye on paper and WUJJOOD, a daughter of Sea The Stars and the sole mount on the card for Jim Crowley, is just preferred to Mission Possible, who is by Dubawi and went for 725,000gns as a yearling.
4.45 Hamilton – Class 3 Handicap (1m 3f)
KING'S SCHOLAR has won three of his last four starts, including both outings this term, most recently defeating a few of these rivals over the course and distance.
The Ed Walker-trained four-year-old won't mind if rain gets in, so he looks to be a solid option.
Selection: King's Scholar @ SP with William Hill

5.00 Salisbury – Class 4 Handicap (7f)
MAKES SENSE, a lightly raced maiden, has been headstrong and didn't progress after placing at Salisbury on his first two starts last year.
However, this drop back in trip is in his favour, he evidently acts well at this course and first up for the campaign might be a good time to catch him.
Selection: Makes Sense @ SP with William Hill

5.15 Hamilton – Class 3 Handicap (5f)
Keep the faith with SOLAR ACLAIM (NAP). He finished only seventh when selected in this column on the Derby card at Epsom last week, but his 7lb claiming apprentice, who doesn't ride him this time, made his move much too soon, the horse tanking on the outer of the pack – from the rear – to lead in the straight, before quickly fading.
It was striking how easily Solar Aclaim made up the ground, albeit his exertions told, and there's no doubt he's in better form than his latest figure may suggest.
There is a worry that this race could come too soon, only eight days on, but the drop back to the minimum trip is in his favour and any rain that falls will help him.
Selection: Solar Aclaim @ 17/2 with William Hill

5.30 Salisbury – Class 5 Handicap (1m 4f)
SPECTACULAR STYLE, a headstrong son of Frankel, can come good on his first start for Ian Williams.
The selection runs off a career-low mark, some 25lb below his peak official figure.
Selection: Spectacular Style @ SP with William Hill
5.45 Hamilton – Class 3 Fillies' Handicap (1m 1f)
LUNAR ECLIPSE was well beaten at Southwell on her reappearance but she should be able to build on that now another seven weeks on.
This well-bred, lightly raced filly has some useful form, the step back up in trip will suit her and any rain will be in her favour as well.
Selection: Lunar Eclipse @ 8/1 with William Hill
6.15 Hamilton – Class 4 Handicap (6f)
CARGIN BHUI needs to do plenty more than at Musselburgh on his latest start, but the drop down from 7f looks to be his favour and he's handily weighted.
He is 5lb lower than when beaten a short head over course and distance last June and this will be the first time since then that Joe Fanning, the only jockey to have won on him, has taken the ride.

Coleen Rooney looks effortlessly chic in a grey blazer and trousers as she's spotted leaving hotel to visit husband Wayne ahead of Soccer Aid match
Coleen Rooney proved she was still queen of the WAGs as she stepped out on Saturday looking effortlessly stylish ahead of the Soccer Aid football match. The TV personality, 39, cut a chic figure in a light grey blazer and coordinating trousers, which she paired with a fitted white T-shirt as she made her way out of the The Hilton Hotel where she had just visited husband Wayne Rooney. Coleen added some blue and white chunky trainers to her look and accessorised a pair of tasteful diamond stud earrings, while tucking her brunette locks behind her ears. Co-founded by pop star Robbie Williams in 2006, Soccer Aid is an annual charity event that brings together international sporting legends and top celebrities for the world's biggest charity football match. The event features two teams, England and the Soccer Aid World XI FC and this year will see football icon Wayne step out of retirement to captain England. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. The TV personality, 39, cut a chic figure in a light grey blazer and coordinating trousers, which she paired with a fitted white T-shirt The former footballer, 39, who stepped down from the pitch in 2021 and was sacked by Plymouth Argyle after just 25 matches in charge with the club in December 2024 is now making a comeback as he joins the star-studded squad for the annual charity match on Saturday. The Manchester United legend will join the likes of Tyson Fury - who will serve as Wayne's co-manager - and former One Direction star Louis Tomlinson. At the time, Wayne said: 'Tyson and I are taking it incredibly seriously – we'll put on a show for you!' Wayne previously managed the UNICEF team in 2020, and will be joining fellow footballers Gary Neville, Paul Scholes, Kaylyn Kyle, Jermain Defoe, Jill Scott, David James and Harry Redknapp as returning players. Coleen's stylish appearance comes days after she let loose with her family at popular theme park, Alton Towers. Coleen shared pictures of the fun-filled day out to her Instagram with the caption: 'Alton Towers is always a great half-term trip! We had a fantastic time as always... thanks for looking after us (Alton Towers)'. But as well as one or two wholesome pictures of the couple with nine-year-old Kit and seven-year-old Cass, Coleen also included pictures of herself and Wayne enjoying the rides, smiling while clinging onto the rollercoasters for dear life. Wayne managed to crack a smile throughout - even if his grimace couldn't match his wife's beaming grin. Coleen added some blue and white chunky trainers to her look and accessorised a pair of tasteful diamond stud earrings, while tucking her brunette locks behind her ears As she held onto her pink phone, she smiled as she made her way, after no doubt giving her husband some words of encouragement ahead of his big debut for the charity match Coleen has enjoyed a career resurgence, winning the hearts of the nation as she came runner-up on last year's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! The influencer was also able to share her sense of 'relief' after Rebekah Vardy was ordered to pay her a £1.4million settlement following their years-long Wagatha Christie legal battle. Breaking her silence at the time, Coleen insisted that 'time and money should have been put to better use' in a scathing public message. She wrote: 'The ruling yesterday in my favour finally brings this claim to an end, it's a relief and brings closure for my family and I. 'Throughout this long process, I am grateful that the judgements have consistently gone my way. 'However, as I have always maintained this claim did not need to be made or run for as long as it did. 'The time and money should have been put to better use. 'I want to thank my legal representatives, management, friends and family for their guidance and constant support. 'Thanks also to the public and many well wishers who have been in touch with such kind messages. 'This episode is not something I ever wanted in my life however I am thankful for the way my family and team have dealt with it. We look forward to moving on with our lives.' Coleen must also pay Vardy a total of £135,097.50 in costs under the terms of court orders from 2024, which will be set off against what Rebekah must pay.

Man United should KEEP Antony, insists club legend - despite £86m flop revealing he hit 'rock bottom' at Old Trafford
Manchester United legend Edwin Van der Sar has called on the club to offer flop Antony another chance at life at Old Trafford. The 25-year-old struggled at United and failed to live up to the £86million fee the Red Devils paid Ajax for his services in 2022, providing just 12 goals and five assists in 96 games. He also endured a torrid time on a personal level and even revealed that he considered retirement while at the club. Antony is contracted until 2027 but was unable to fit in under either Erik ten Hag or Ruben Amorim and was duly sent out on loan in January. However, at Real Betis the Brazilian was rejuvenated, and went on to become one of the club's stars of the second half of the season. He scored 14 times in 26 games in just five months with Betis and earned rave reviews from fans and players alike as he earned a recall to the Brazil national team. Van der Sar, who won four Premier League titles and the Champions League in his six-year stint at Old Trafford, believes his former side should give the winger a second chance at proving himself. 'They're on the right track by signing a more experienced striker, maybe with another one on the way,' he told The Sun. 'The two players they signed in the winter break were good, so they should be fine if they give faith to the manager. 'Maybe [Alejandro] Garnacho's going to go, I would say bring Antony back, but I'm not sure if that's realistic.' Antony's performances at Betis even led club legend Joaquin to joke that he would kidnap the forward to keep him at the club. Despite Van der Sar's suggestion, a return to United appears unlikely for Antony. After returning to the Brazil squad, he admitted he 'hit rock' bottom at United. 'I started to doubt, even in myself,' he said. 'But, my family always told me to stay calm, because the process is painful and people must accept it. Today, I understand it better after everything I went through. I am grateful for that experience. 'I was hitting rock bottom without any hope, despite continuing to do my part for the club. Antony has been widely tipped to leave the club this summer, having joined in Ten Hag's first transfer window for £86m, and has so far failed to deliver on that price tag.
