
Israeli soldier says he felt broken after returning to fighting in Gaza
Gaza – Saba:
The Hebrew newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth quoted a soldier in the Israeli infantry brigade on Tuesday as saying, "We felt broken after returning to fighting in Gaza, and everyone is exhausted and uncertain."
The soldier added, according to a translation by the Palestine Now Agency, that his forces have shifted from offense to defense, noting that many soldiers have begun to question the objectives of the war they are waging.
In other statements, the soldier expressed the feelings of frustration prevalent among the soldiers, emphasizing that there is a sense of a lack of true appreciation for the lives of soldiers fighting in Gaza.
