Powered by 750PS twin-turbo V8 with Proactive Chassis Control III

Exclusive LM wheels, F1 Gold brake calipers, and special aero upgrades included
While we eagerly await the McLaren 'LT' version of the already mental 750S supercar, the brand has released a hardcore 'Le Mans' edition to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their 1995 race win at the famed circuit on June 18th.
JJ Lehto, Yannick Dalmas and Masanori Sekiya were behind the wheel of a 1995 McLaren F1 GTR #59 when the team claimed victory in the 24 Hours of Le Mans on their first appearance as a constructor in the world-famous race. Now, there's a car to celebrate with the release of 50 limited edition McLaren 750S 'Le Mans Edition' models that add a new MSO High Downforce Kit (HDK), roof scoop, unique 5-spoke LM wheels, carbon fibre Monocage II central structure and Proactive Chassis Control III suspension to make this the lightest and most agile car in its class.
With the LM-style wheels and paint to match the #59 F1 GTR Le Mans exterior in Grey (McLaren Orange also available), this will be a very desirable model for collectors. They'll also get plenty of Le Mans logos and that multi-award-winning 750S performance, highlighted by the mid-mounted, 750PS 4.0-litre, twin-turbocharged V8 McLaren engine. Let's take a closer look!

Let's start on the interior of the McLaren 750S Le Mans Edition, where the first thing you'll notice is the scaffolding in the rear. That's right, you have a choice of two Le Mans interior themes in either Carbon Black Alcantara with Jet Black Softgrain Leather and Dove Grey Alcantara or Carbon Black Alcantara with Jet Black Softgrain Leather and McLaren Orange Alcantara.
That's complemented by Le Mans debossed headrests, branded floormats, and a bespoke Le Mans dedication plaque. Heck, you can even double-down on the plaques and choose to add a plaque into the front luggage compartment that lists the 1995 Le Mans victory with the other Triple Crown achievements in the Indianapolis 500 and Monaco Grand Prix. This option is available to all new 750S cars.

The LM-style wheels and new MSO High Downforce Kit (HDK) add visual drama to the 750S, which are motorsport-inspired and functional.
While it looks like a fixed wing at first glance, the raised carbon fibre Active Rear Spoiler with integral endplates is indeed active. It works with a front bumper that features an enlarged carbon fibre splitter and rear wing to increase downforce by 10 per cent compared to the standard 750S.
Other additions to the exterior of the McLaren 750S Le Mans Edition include:
High Downforce Kit (HDK)
5-spoke Le Mans wheel with Stealth finish and Le Mans branding
F1 Gold Special Colour Brake Calipers with red McLaren logo
Wheel Centre Caps with blue/red colour detail
Gloss Black Carbon Fibre Roof Scoop
Carbon Fibre Front Fenders with Gloss Black Louvres
Gloss Black exterior details
Natural Titanium Exhaust Finisher
Painted Le Mans exterior branding

Completing the HDK package is a new body-coloured carbon fibre under-wing panel featuring gloss black louvres. However, you can also choose a handful of exterior option packs, which we've outlined below:
Exterior Details in Gloss Visual Carbon Fibre
Gloss Visual Carbon Fibre HDK and Underbody pack (Front Splitter, Rear Diffuser, Active Spoiler)
Gloss Visual Carbon Fibre Raised Active Rear Spoiler only
Gloss Visual Carbon Fibre Louvre pack (Front Fender Louvres, Rear Under-Wing Panel Louvres)
Gloss Visual Carbon Fibre Roof Scoop Outer
Track Brake Upgrade incorporating F1 Gold Special Colour Brake Calipers with red McLaren logo
'The 750S Le Mans marks not just 30 years since our debut victory in the iconic race, but an exciting time for the brand with McLaren GT3 EVO cars competing in this year's race and the announcement of our return to the top, Hypercar class in 2027,' said Henrik Wilhelmsmeyer, Chief Commercial Officer, McLaren Automotive.
'This exclusive 750S is the first McLaren Le Mans edition since the F1 LM to feature HDK aerodynamic enhancements and is set to become one of our most sought-after supercars, with previous Le Mans editions of the 650S and 720S commanding a premium over standard models.'
Pricing for the McLaren 750S Le Mans hasn't been shared by the brand, but if you haven't received a phone call to purchase the car already, then you've likely missed out. The standard McLaren 750S is priced from AUD$580,163 plus on-road costs in Australia.

Original Birkin Bag Crafted For Jane Birkin Heads to Auction
By Ben McKimm - News Published: 6 June 2025 Share Copy Link Readtime: 4 min Every product is carefully selected by our editors and experts. If you buy from a link, we may earn a commission. Learn more. For more information on how we test products, click here. Jane Birkin's original 1985 Birkin is going to auction July 10. Expected to break the Birkin price record of over USD$450,000. Custom prototype: unique size, hardware, and non-removable shoulder strap. Includes original charity auction certificate signed by Jane Birkin. Exhibited at MoMA and V&A museums before entering private collection. Likely to become the most expensive Birkin bag ever sold, Sotheby's is auctioning off the Original Birkin Crafted For Jane Birkin in 1985 at an auction on July 10th, 2025. While auction estimates are withheld, the bag will likely eclipse the USD$450,000 plus sales price of the Diamond Himalaya Birkin 30, which sold at Sotheby's in 2022. It's not often that handbags carry provenance, but this Birkin is different. The story goes that the actress was sitting alongside Jean-Louis Dumas, the French billionaire businessman who was the chairman of the Hermès group from 1978 to 2006, on an Air France flight. She complained that she couldn't find a bag big enough for daily life, so the brand designed one and asked if they could name it after her. The rest is history, as they say. Now, her original bag is headed to auction, and it carries serious provenance not just from Jane Birkin, but from those who have held onto the bag since she donated it at Millon, Paris, Les enchéres de I'espoir, Association Solidarité Sida on Wednesday, October 5, 1994, Théâtre de l'Empire. It was sold in Poulain Le Fur, Paris, on Friday, May 12 2000 (lot 70) and has sat in a private collection (and museums) ever since. The Original Birkin Crafted For Jane Birkin, 1985 | Image: Sotheby's What's interesting about this Birkin is that it's a prototype. There are key differences between this and the bag that would eventually hit the production run in 1985, including: It has the width and height of a Birkin 35, but the depth of a Birkin 40 Size : 36 x 27 x 21 cm: W It features closed pontet rings, whereas rings remained open at the bottom until the early 1990s There's gilded brass hardware, replaced by gold-plated hardware (with a check mark) at launch 'Eclair' branded inner zip, which was replaced by Riri Company in the 1990s Smaller bottom studs, or 'feet' It has a non-removable shoulder strap, the only one of its kind Not only is this bag made in a one-off custom size, but it comes in the same condition in which it was auctioned for charity by Jane Birkin. That means that you're getting a bag that was crafted for the namesake and lovingly used by the namesake until it was passed on, and it comes in the same condition as it hasn't been used since. Heck, it's even branded with her initials, J.B., and inside is the nail clipper that she kept hanging from the bag's strap. Given the provenance of this bag, it was exhibited at the MoMA in New York for the ' Items: Is Fashion Modern?,' exhibition in 2018 before it was sent to London's Victoria and Albert Museum for the 'Bags Inside Out' exhibition in 2020. Now, it's hitting the auction block at Sotheby's on July 10th, 2025, where it will likely make history as the most expensive Birkin ever sold.

Sky Sports UK lead F1 commentator David Croft predicts Oscar Piastri will win this year's world championship
The voice of Formula 1 has doubled-down on his early-season prediction Oscar Piastri will win this year's world title, declaring the Australian star 'looks like a champion'. Breaking down the championship battle between Piastri and his McLaren teammate Lando Norris after the Spanish Grand Prix, Sky Sports F1 commentator David Croft was confident the Melbourne-born ace had a maiden crown 'coming this way' this year. – his fifth from the opening nine races of the season. Hailing Piastri's 'cool and calm' presence on track that the F1 world has been raving about, Croft said his view the 24-year-old would take out this year's title had only strengthened. 'I have not flip-flopped at all … after the first race, I'm tipping Oscar Piastri to win the world title,' Croft said on the Sky Sports F1 podcast, The F1 Show. 'The fact that Karun (Chandhok) and I were on stage in Australia at the time has no bearing on that prediction whatsoever. 'He looks like a champion - and he has looked like a champion for a while. A champion in the making and I think this is the year that it is coming his way, I really do.' Piastri has continued to earn plaudits from across the F1 world for his calm demeanour and composure under pressure. Croft said Piastri had the ability to handle whatever was thrown at him and described him as the 'exact opposite' of Max Verstappen, who drew headlines in Barcelona after his run-in with George Russell which cost him a 10-second penalty and the loss of three penalty points. 'The beautiful thing, I think, about Oscar Piastri this season is his ability to cope with whatever comes his way,' Croft said. 'We know he doesn't get flustered. He's the exact opposite of Max on the track. 'The resting heart beat I think is about eight beats per minute from start to finish during the race. He is just so cool and so calm. 'Everything that gets thrown at him, he copes with magnificently.' Croft said the move from Norris to pick up a tow behind Piastri in qualifying indicated he was 'worried' his teammate had an edge over him over one lap. 'Just a little thing about that first run of Lando's. He picked up a little cheeky tow behind Oscar as he was on his out lap and he followed him all around the final corner,' Croft said. 'Now if I'm Oscar Piastri and I'm being told, 'Oh yeah, by the way, Lando got a tow and he's on provisional pole' and I think, 'Cheeky' was the reply. 'I'm thinking to myself, 'He's worried here. He's worried that I'm going to go out and deliver a lap that he can't replicate. And the reason I know he's worried is because he is trying to pick up a tow already behind me'. 'Fair play to Lando for doing that but the fact is you've got one more run to come and Oscar knows that his teammate is under pressure and the one guy that is going to deny him pole is under pressure to the extent that he need to get a tow behind me so that just eases your pressure a little bit and then he goes out and delivers that lap. 'You use everything to your advantage in life and he certainly did that on Saturday.' Highlighting the 'mental game' required in qualifying, fellow Sky Sports F1 expert Karun Chandhok said Piastri showed he had 'ice in his veins' in the crunch moments. 'At that stage, the cars are the same. They have spent the whole time dialling in the set-up and at that point, the engineers can't do anymore, the mechanics can't do anymore. It's about the drivers mentally putting it on the line and delivering the lap,' Chandhok said. 'They (Piastri and Norris) are both equally talented and the skill is there. It's having the mental strength to deliver that lap under pressure. 'Lando overdrove, didn't he? He made a few little errors. He went a bit wide in a couple of places and Oscar delivered it. 'You have to say that he's got ice in his veins, doesn't he, Oscar? He doesn't flap.'

Now serving breakfast daily from 7 am in the historic The Rocks location. Heritage renovation preserves 1828 charm with a modern dining experience. Menu features Aussie breakfast classics and pub favourites, plus new dishes. Russell Boutique Hotel reopens upstairs after full heritage-inspired renovation. Sydney's oldest pub has turned a new page in 2025 with a bold expansion that blends history and hospitality in a signature style. Located in The Rocks, the Fortune of War has unveiled Bistro 1828, a 60-seat bistro named in honour of former convict Samuel Terry, and alongside it, a fully renovated boutique hotel upstairs called The Russell. Don't fret, because the original pub is still there, and you can think of this as an expansion. Family-owned WDS Hotels group is behind the transformation, and co-owner Steve Speed says it is something they have been wanting to do since they took over the Fortune of War. 'We're still a country pub in the heart of the city, with warm and welcoming hospitality, classic pub dishes and beers poured with passion, for quality,' he says. 'We had outgrown the previous space, so by opening Bistro 1828, more people are able to enjoy the historic charm, character and sense of community that accompanies every visit to Sydney's oldest pub.' The Russell Boutique Hotel is located upstairs and had originally closed during the pandemic. Now, it's emerged from a complete refurbishment with 28 uniquely styled rooms, many with glimpses of Sydney Harbour. Let's take a closer look! Bistro 1828 | Image: Supplied / Kitti Gould Fortune of War Bistro 1828 Hours: Mon-Sun 7am until late We'll start with Bistro 1828, which is located next to the original pub. Here, the team has transformed the space by taking over two retail stores and expanded to the corner of George and Globe Street. There's a new bar area with mixed seating and an upholstered Italian leather banquette, which is perfect for enjoying a beer as the sun streams in through the stained-glass windows. Next to the original pub is the new main dining room, with people-watching through the floor-to-ceiling windows and a more intimate setting. Between the two areas is an open-plan kitchen, which has significantly increased the venue's capacity and ensured it can open for breakfast for the first time. 'When we first came down to The Rocks, we thought how great it would be to one day serve up bacon and eggs at Sydney's oldest pub,' said co-owner Steve Speed. 'Going out for breakfast is such an Australian tradition, so we're thrilled to now offer it at this iconic location, whether you're enjoying it as part of your hotel stay or passing by.' You can also sit down for all-day dining in the original pub, the new Bistro 1828 and the alfresco area outside. 'We are a historic venue with a large and loyal customer base, so it was important that we didn't change it up too much,' Speed continued. 'All the pub classics people know and love, like our beef and Guinness stew, fish'n'chips, nachos and burgers, are still here, but we've also added some new dishes too, like fresh salads, pastas and shared starters, with a Sunday roast coming soon.'
