Would Porteous return 'rock the boat' or does he have 'untapped potential'?
We asked for your views on Ryan Porteous' possible return to Easter Road following reports linking the defender to Hibs. Here's what some of you said:Paul: Hopefully he learned a bit more about defending, a good addition to the squad. Does this mean Rocky Bushiri is on his way out?Kenny: Step backwards. He's too slow and gives away silly free kicks and penalties. He wouldn't improve the team.Scott: If Rocky doesn't sign bring him back. Always gave you everything and was good for winding up the opposition. He needs to play to get a sniff of the Scotland squad.Darren: I'd take Porto back in a heartbeat. That lad has untapped potential.A wee cuddle from SDG is the perfect medicine to get his Scotland career back on track and become a Hibees legend.David: The return of development boys to Easter Road has worked well in the past, but I remain unconvinced that Ryan Porteous has requisite maturity yet to consistently be the seasoned pro needed in defence.Brian: No thank you. He's a bomb scare. Not sure he would be a good influence in the dressing room either, I'm surprised David Gray is looking at him.Ross: It would be good business for us, it increases the competition, though I feel he is better than what we currently have. Squad depth will be key next season.John: If he can cut out the rash tackling and play they way we know he can, then yes. If he is still jumping into tackles he can't win, then no. In Gray I trust though.Darren: I don't want him back at Hibs. He agitated for a move away and in the end I was glad to see him go. He would not fit in with the current ethos at Hibs, he is far too self centred.Ian: There is a good balance in the team and dressing room at the moment, but feel Porteous might rock the boat a bit, and not in a good way. He left, leave it that way.

Coleen Rooney proved she was still queen of the WAGs as she stepped out on Saturday looking effortlessly stylish ahead of the Soccer Aid football match. The TV personality, 39, cut a chic figure in a light grey blazer and coordinating trousers, which she paired with a fitted white T-shirt as she made her way out of the The Hilton Hotel where she had just visited husband Wayne Rooney. Coleen added some blue and white chunky trainers to her look and accessorised a pair of tasteful diamond stud earrings, while tucking her brunette locks behind her ears. Co-founded by pop star Robbie Williams in 2006, Soccer Aid is an annual charity event that brings together international sporting legends and top celebrities for the world's biggest charity football match. The Manchester United legend will join the likes of Tyson Fury - who will serve as Wayne's co-manager - and former One Direction star Louis Tomlinson. At the time, Wayne said: 'Tyson and I are taking it incredibly seriously – we'll put on a show for you!' Wayne previously managed the UNICEF team in 2020, and will be joining fellow footballers Gary Neville, Paul Scholes, Kaylyn Kyle, Jermain Defoe, Jill Scott, David James and Harry Redknapp as returning players. Coleen's stylish appearance comes days after she let loose with her family at popular theme park, Alton Towers. Coleen shared pictures of the fun-filled day out to her Instagram with the caption: 'Alton Towers is always a great half-term trip! We had a fantastic time as always... thanks for looking after us (Alton Towers)'. But as well as one or two wholesome pictures of the couple with nine-year-old Kit and seven-year-old Cass, Coleen also included pictures of herself and Wayne enjoying the rides, smiling while clinging onto the rollercoasters for dear life. Wayne managed to crack a smile throughout - even if his grimace couldn't match his wife's beaming grin. Coleen added some blue and white chunky trainers to her look and accessorised a pair of tasteful diamond stud earrings, while tucking her brunette locks behind her ears As she held onto her pink phone, she smiled as she made her way, after no doubt giving her husband some words of encouragement ahead of his big debut for the charity match Coleen has enjoyed a career resurgence, winning the hearts of the nation as she came runner-up on last year's I'm A Celebrity... The influencer was also able to share her sense of 'relief' after Rebekah Vardy was ordered to pay her a £1.4million settlement following their years-long Wagatha Christie legal battle. Breaking her silence at the time, Coleen insisted that 'time and money should have been put to better use' in a scathing public message. She wrote: 'The ruling yesterday in my favour finally brings this claim to an end, it's a relief and brings closure for my family and I. 'Throughout this long process, I am grateful that the judgements have consistently gone my way. 'However, as I have always maintained this claim did not need to be made or run for as long as it did. 'The time and money should have been put to better use. 'I want to thank my legal representatives, management, friends and family for their guidance and constant support. 'Thanks also to the public and many well wishers who have been in touch with such kind messages. 'This episode is not something I ever wanted in my life however I am thankful for the way my family and team have dealt with it. We look forward to moving on with our lives.' Coleen must also pay Vardy a total of £135,097.50 in costs under the terms of court orders from 2024, which will be set off against what Rebekah must pay.

Man United should KEEP Antony, insists club legend - despite £86m flop revealing he hit 'rock bottom' at Old Trafford
Manchester United legend Edwin Van der Sar has called on the club to offer flop Antony another chance at life at Old Trafford. The 25-year-old struggled at United and failed to live up to the £86million fee the Red Devils paid Ajax for his services in 2022, providing just 12 goals and five assists in 96 games. He also endured a torrid time on a personal level and even revealed that he considered retirement while at the club. Antony is contracted until 2027 but was unable to fit in under either Erik ten Hag or Ruben Amorim and was duly sent out on loan in January. However, at Real Betis the Brazilian was rejuvenated, and went on to become one of the club's stars of the second half of the season. He scored 14 times in 26 games in just five months with Betis and earned rave reviews from fans and players alike as he earned a recall to the Brazil national team. Van der Sar, who won four Premier League titles and the Champions League in his six-year stint at Old Trafford, believes his former side should give the winger a second chance at proving himself. 'They're on the right track by signing a more experienced striker, maybe with another one on the way,' he told The Sun. 'The two players they signed in the winter break were good, so they should be fine if they give faith to the manager. 'Maybe [Alejandro] Garnacho's going to go, I would say bring Antony back, but I'm not sure if that's realistic.' Antony's performances at Betis even led club legend Joaquin to joke that he would kidnap the forward to keep him at the club. Despite Van der Sar's suggestion, a return to United appears unlikely for Antony. After returning to the Brazil squad, he admitted he 'hit rock' bottom at United. 'I started to doubt, even in myself,' he said. 'But, my family always told me to stay calm, because the process is painful and people must accept it. Today, I understand it better after everything I went through. I am grateful for that experience. 'I was hitting rock bottom without any hope, despite continuing to do my part for the club. Antony has been widely tipped to leave the club this summer, having joined in Ten Hag's first transfer window for £86m, and has so far failed to deliver on that price tag.
