Charles & Dean to adopt purpose-built NETSOL platform

Yahooa day ago

NETSOL Technologies, Inc., a global provider of enterprise software, announced that Charles & Dean, an independent finance broker based in the UK, is expanding its use of NETSOL's Transcend Marketplace, according to a press release.
The firm has selected NETSOL's Link portal, a multi-channel origination solution designed to support both broker and dealer operations.
The new platform replaces Charles & Dean's existing broker management system. According to the company, the move is intended to streamline operations, improve regulatory compliance, and enhance the customer experience as they scale.
NETSOL's Link provides configurable portals for brokers, lenders, and dealers. It includes tools for quoting, proposal submission, compliance tracking, and API integrations with lender systems. The system is designed to reduce administrative effort and support faster decision-making.
Before adopting the new platform, Charles & Dean said they faced increasing complexity in managing separate workflows across business channels. 'We needed a scalable solution that could support growth and maintain compliance across broker and dealer operations,' said Tom Perkins, Director and Co-Founder of Charles & Dean.
NETSOL said implementation is nearly complete and expected to go live in the coming month.
'We're pleased to support Charles and Dean as they expand their use of our platform,' said Najeeb Ghauri, Founder and CEO of NETSOL Technologies. 'Their decision reflects a need for flexible technology to support growth and evolving regulatory demands.'
Jason Hurwitz, Sales Director at NETSOL Technologies Europe, said the adoption of the Link portal shows the need for origination tools that can be tailored and deployed quickly. He added that the platform is intended to help firms 'unlock more business volume' while keeping processes streamlined.
"Charles & Dean to adopt purpose-built NETSOL platform" was originally created and published by Leasing Life, a GlobalData owned brand.

Lawmakers backtracking on July 1 deadline for NC budget

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Top North Carolina lawmakers say they likely will not have an approved budget by the end of this month, backtracking on previous hopes of having it done by then. Senator Phil Berger says you just need to look at the two budgets from the House and Senate and you'll see hundreds of differences that need working out. 'My sense is we've got to resolve the issues with reference to revenue package before we can have productive, substantive discussions about a full budget on those other issues,' Senator Berger said. On the House side, there's no real urgency. 'We don't feel a pressure here really to pass a budget by July 1, again because of the prior changes in the law, the money continues on just like it was under the prior budget,' Representative Destin Hall said. That means even without a final budget, state employees still get paid, and the government continues. But top Democrats say the state needs a budget and it's not up to them anymore. 'We actually have Republicans running both the House and the Senate, they have the override here, and yet we don't actually have a budget, so this is infighting between Republicans,' Senator Sydney Batch said. If there's no final budget by July 1st, Senator Berger says lawmakers will likely take a break and then come back. Democrats take issue with that if it means Hurricane Helene relief is delayed. 'We're going to go home and take a break, and they never take a break from not having a house, not having any food, not having a school for their kids to go to,' Senator Batch said. But that may not be the case. 'The sense within the Senate is that if we do adjourn at the end of the month without a budget and plan to come back at a certain time, there are some things with reference to Helene recovery that we'll probably need to do before we leave town,' Senator Berger said. Representative Destin Hall also says they do have a commitment to state employees and teachers to get them raises in a timely manner, so he's keeping that in mind as well. Why Waste Management stock has been anything but trash

Shares of Waste Management, Inc. (WM) — which does business as WM — are trading near an all-time high. WM CFO Devina Rankin sits down with Julie Hyman to uncover the so-called "why behind the high," sharing her insight into why this trash stock has proven to be a treasure for investors. To watch more expert insights and analysis on the latest market action, check out more Market Domination here. For people who aren't that familiar with WM, sort of big picture, tell us what an investor can expect from the company. My my sort of impression of your industry generally and you guys specifically is pretty steady business, right? Everybody needs their their trash removed, both residential and commercial, and business that probably generates a good amount of cash. Yeah, that's a great synopsis, but I would say is we're an essential service and that means that we're resilient. We do well in any economic environment and any political administration. So, when people are looking for a safe place, we're often thought of one of those places to park money in uncertain times. What I would say is we go beyond that, though. We're also a growth engine and that growth comes from strong execution from top line to bottom line, in terms of how do we grow our markets organically? How do we grow through price cost optimization, leveraging technology in order to optimize our cost to serve? And thinking about scaling our business, both in our core, but then also in things like healthcare solutions and renewable energy. Um, and um, I want to show folks a chart of the revenue growth you guys have had over the past decade or so by um year, as well as EBITA growth. And again, it has been that that pretty steady growth that we've been talking about, but within that, um, what would you say looking forward are going to be the biggest areas of growth for the company? You mentioned medical, for example, I know you guys recently completed a big acquisition in that, uh, in that business. Is that where investors can expect that sort of growth to be a little more supercharged? Yeah, so I think it's important to look at our history and put our history into really solid context for purposes of where we go from here. Um, what we have done generally over the last decade is grow EBITA. Our target has been five to seven percent annual EBITA growth over the last 10 years or so, and we've meaningfully outpaced that. Our EBITA growth in the last three years has been 9% on average. And when we think about what lies ahead, it really is a supercharging, and that supercharging comes from that core solid waste growth that we've, you know, had a consistent track record of being able to generate. And then the strong integration of the healthcare solutions business, the Stericycle acquisition that we completed in November of 2024, um, that integration is off to a great start, and it's really scaling WM's expertise in materials management to a new segment of the economy. On top of that, we are a sustainability leader. That means that what we do goes beyond picking up your waste from the curb and taking it to a landfill. We're the largest recycler. We're also the largest generator of renewable natural gas from landfills in North America. So, those things are creating economic value and environmental utility, which we think will spur incremental growth over the next 10 years.
