Brandon Graham injury update: Will Eagles pass rusher play in Super Bowl LIX?
Brandon Graham is back at Eagles practices and doing more than looking to stay in shape with intense cardio. Graham has said all the right things about taking his return one day at a time, and just 96 hours away from kickoff in New Orleans, the legendary pass rusher is set to log his sixth straight day of work since having his practice window opened.
Last week, following a session closed to the media, Lane Johnson said that Graham was at Philadelphia Eagles practice 'flying around' and 'talking mess,' which is a clear indicator that he'll be involved in Super Bowl LIX.

According to Jordan Schultz of Fox Sports, Graham remains on track to play in Super Bowl LIX, continuing his plan to retire at the end of the season.

According to Olivia Reiner of the Philadelphia Inquirer, Graham participated in team drills in practice last week for the first time since his Triceps injury.

Graham suffered a torn Triceps late in the second half against the Rams in Week 12, ending his regular season after 11 games.
Graham had two tackles, one sack, two tackles for loss, one pass defended, and three quarterback hits in the win over Los Angeles. Graham finished the 2024 regular season with 13 tackles, 2.5 sacks, one forced fumble, a 75.7 grade from PFF, 13 QB hurries, and 19 QB pressures.
The 35-year-old Graham is third on the Eagle's all-time sack list (75.5) and tied with Seth Joyner for second in team history in forced fumbles (21). Graham broke Chuck Bednarik's record for the most seasons played with the franchise (15).

GAINESVILLE, Va. — Joaquin Niemann was once again the man to emerge from a crowded leaderboard to claim victory at LIV Golf Virginia. The Chilean shot an 8-under-63 to earn his sixth LIV Golf win, which is the most of any player. On the team leaderboard, Crushers GC earned its eighth LIV win, which is the most of any team. Crushers GC has now won back-to-back team trophies after finishing first at LIV Golf Korea last month. Captain Bryson DeChambeau, Paul Casey, Anirban Lahiri and Charles Howell III have made up the Crushers since the team's inception. The individual leaderboard was jam-packed with superstars, including HyFlyers GC captain Phil Mickelson and DeChambeau, but also featured past major champions looking to win after long droughts. Smash GC's Graeme McDowell and RangeGoats GC captain Bubba Watson were both in contention until the bitter end. The veterans in the mix played well enough, but Niemann showed once again that he's nearly impossible to beat on Sundays when he's in the mix. Lahiri, who was the 36-hole leader, suffered yet another heartbreak. He finished in a tie for 2nd after shooting a 3-under-68. The runner-up was the fifth in Lahiri's LIV Golf career. Martin Kaymer, the 18-hole co-leader, shot a 1-under-70 to finish tied for eighth — his best finish ever on LIV Golf. Ben Campbell of RangeGoats GC set a LIV Golf record for consecutive birdies made in a single round with seven. The Kiwi birdied the 13th hole through the first hole and ended up shooting a 62. Lee Westwood also shot 62 to match Campbell's low round of the week. Westwood's 62 tied his career-low round on LIV Golf. Thomas Pieters of 4Aces GC shot an 8-under-63. Jinichiro Kozuma and Brendan Steele also had impressive Sunday performances and each shot 7-under 64's. Who won the Bryce Huff trade between the San Francisco 49ers and the Philadelphia Eagles originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The San Francisco 49ers agreed on a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles to bring edge rusher Bryce Huff to the Bay Area in exchange for what was initially reported as a "mid-round" draft pick. Advertisement We now officially know the exchange included a conditional fifth-round pick that could turn into a fourth based on Huff's performance with the 49ers. Judging by both teams' situations, you could argue that they both came away winners here. San Francisco was facing a mass exodus of quality defensive players this offseason and needed help on the edge opposite of Nick Bosa. For Philadelphia, they were clearly not in favor of keeping Huff after a letdown season resulted in him being a healthy scratch in the Eagles' Super Bowl win. What do the grades say? Pretty similar. ESPN believes both teams benefitted equally and earned a B+ in the deal. Advertisement On the San Fran side, Seth Walder writes: "This is a pretty reasonable play for San Francisco. As poorly as Huff played last season, there's still plenty to like in his history, and his pass rush win rate remained solid despite his struggles. "Though that shows Huff slowing down, it's still a better-than-average get-off for an edge rusher." The best part of the deal for the 49ers is the cost financially. Huff had restructured his contract with Philly to make this work, allowing San Francisco to just under $8 million for the year. Philadelphia is stuck paying more, but the restructure is much more beneficial than being responsible for his three-year, $51.1 million contract without the player. The Eagles benefit as they get to unload a player who did not meet on-field expectations last season and be rewarded with a high Day 3 draft pick. Advertisement "From 2020 to 2022, Huff recorded a 26% pass rush win rate at edge -- a top-10 number at the position had he qualified ..." Walder continued about Huff's 10-sack season that earned him that contract ahead of last year. "His win rate fell to a career-low 19% (which is still higher than average), but the sacks weren't there (2.5) and his playing time dipped before he missed time in the second half of the season to have wrist surgery." The Eagles still have a loaded roster and this departure shouldn't do too much to their pass rush depth with them bringing back a collection of formidable pieces in Nolan Smith Jr., Azeez Ojulari and Joshua Uche. Plus, Philadelphia gets to save a bit of cap space by shipping off some of Huff's contract. Everything seems even right now, but that's the funny thing about grading trades with over three months until the season starts. Things can happen one way or another to cause drastic reconsideration for the true winner here. Advertisement The Niners are banking on reuniting Huff with defensive coordinator Robert Saleh (his head coach during his career-year with the New York Jets in 2023) will pay major dividends. Advertisement The only way that those talks and comparisons end, is if Coleman ends up being a star in his own right. And that is precisely what the Florida State product is working to be. 'I demand greatness from myself, and I love to know my coaches demand the same amount of greatness, and we're on the same page about it," Coleman said via Dom Tibbetts of WKBW. Coleman was not bad in his first season in Buffalo. He recorded an impressive 19.2 yard-per-reception average. That was one of the largest in the NFL last season. Despite his obvious deep-threat abilities, Coleman caught just 29 passes while battling multiple injuries. Advertisement If Buffalo is going to take a jump as a Super Bowl contender, they will need their second-year receiver to reach a new level of his game that he hasn't shown yet. Part of that will be focused on staying healthy. Coleman missed four games due to injuries last year. The other part, though, is with his consistency. The 22-year-old needs to be more consistent with catching the football (7% drop rate), and finding ways to get open. Coleman has all the tools to be successful with the Bills. It will be up to him, though, to see just how good he can be. And from his comments this week, it's clear that Coleman knows exactly what he needs to do.
