Recap on the trendy messaging accessory
Once upon a time, the baseball cap was a humble shade-provider, shielding foreheads from the sun and bad hair days. Twice upon a time, it was a style statement, made by anyone from rappers wearing it ulta to Kareena Kapoor. Third time around, thanks to Style-Bhai Don , the cap is the new t-shirt: portable message board. No longer confined to MAGA fashionistas, messages like 'I'm with Stupid' and 'World's Okayest Brother' are all the rage now on a curved brim. The cap has become the canvas of choice for manifestos, endorsements, and that blend of irony and sincerity only achievable in headgear. Trump wore a white variant with his favourite slogan at the G7 summit this week - only to be capped by Steven Crowchild of the indigenous Tsuut'ina First Nation with his resplendent feathered headgear.Unlike t-shirts, caps don't wrinkle when you flex your beliefs. Although they may get you in a tangle, as it did K-pop singer Jungkook when he had to issue a public apology last week in Japan for wearing a cap with the words, 'Make Tokyo Great Again', a phrase frowned upon because of its use by far-right Japanese figures. Cap messaging should reach new heights with 'Make Baseball Caps Boring Again', or that favourite of fashion-forward nihilists, 'Meh'. Who knows what would have happened with caps bearing 'Simon, Go Back!' and 'Talk Less, Work More'.

Iran Israel attack highlights: Trump approved Iran attack plans behind closed doors, report claims
Israel Iran attack news highlights: The conflict between Iran and Israel entered its sixth day with full force as both the nations traded missile strikes on Wednesday. Track live updates of Iran-Israel conflict here. As the conflict escalates, Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei stated that Israel has 'made a huge mistake' and will be 'punished' for its attack on Iran. Meanwhile, Israel has launched fresh attacks against Tehran. ...Read More US President Donald Trump on the other hand, stated that iran has 'no air defence systems and are defenceless' as he hinted towards strikes against the country. During the early hours of Wednesday, sirens sounded across Israel twice within an hour as Iran launched strikes, said the Israel Defence Forces. Sirens sounded again in northern Israel due to a hostile aircraft infiltration. The strikes come even after United States President Donald Trump asked for 'unconditional surrender' by Iran. Trump also said that they know the location of Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei but will not kill him, at least for now, adding that the US does not want missiles shot at civilians, or American soldiers. 'Our patience is wearing thin,' said Trump. The conflict between Iran and Israel is now seeing more active participation from the United States as it is deploying more fighter jets and other warplanes to the Middle East, Reuters reported citing three US officials. Trump also met with his National Security Council on Tuesday afternoon after leaving the G7 summit a day early to discuss what is happening in the Middle East. However, the details of the meeting are not yet known. Ever since Israel took Iran by surprise and launched 'Operation Rising Lion' against it by attacking its nuclear and military sites on Friday, Iran has lost several key commanders considered close to Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who now finds himself isolated. The loss of senior Revolutionary Guards officials—those most trusted by the Supreme Leader—has created a significant strategic vacuum, reported Reuters citing five individuals familiar with the inner workings of Khamenei's circle. Iran Israel conflict | Key points The conflict between Iran and Israel started after the latter launched a series of surprise strikes against Iranian military and nuclear infrastructure under 'Operation Rising Lion' last Friday. Israel justified its actions by saying that Iran was very close to building nuclear weapons which puts Israel's security in jeopardy. United States President Donald Trump has also maintained that he does not want Iran to have nuclear weapons, a stance echoed by the G7 leaders who were hosted in Canada. The US is getting actively involved in the Middle East conflict as Trump said that they have 'complete and total control of the skies over Iran' on Tuesday. Though US forces have not launched any offensive against Iran yet, they are positioned in defensive positions in the region. So far, Iran has reported 224 deaths because of the ongoing conflict while Israel said 24 of its civilians have been killed.

‘Pope don't preach': DYK the Pope and Madonna are related? Fans demand a collab
It's not a practical joke or another crevice of the internet which seems to have found itself a bout of meme virality. It's as factual as it gets. Pope Leo XIV, who commenced his papacy on May 8 this year, is in fact a distant relative of none other than THE pop icon across ages, Madonna. How? As per a tracing project orchestrated by The New York Times, the Pope's lineage reveals him having had relatives in Italy, Spain and France, some of whom later relocated to Quebec in the 1650s. Louis Boucher de Grandpre in this regard, was one of his distant Canadian relatives. The Madonna connection seems to have revealed itself from this link. The puns and throwback references were endless of course: "Like a Prayer!", "Pope and Pop artist", "Reconciliation appointment or exorcism?? 😂", "papa does indeed preach", "they look like twins!", "Pope dont preach" and "Madonna - Like a Prayer ft Leo XIV" to quote a few. But things don't just stop here with the superstar Pope. Pope Leo, also happens to be related to Justin Bieber — and Angelina Jolie, and Hillary Clinton and Justin Trudeau! And these revelations are all a result of the Pope's lineage being traced. But coming back to the Pope and Madonna being related, the OG Material Girl actually has some significant history when it comes to the Pope. About three years back, she had publicly asked Pope Leo's predecessor, Pope Francis, to meet with her in lieu of discussing the three excommunications she had received from the Church. Her 'plea', shared in May 2022, read, "Hello @Pontifex Francis —I'm a good Catholic. I Swear!. I mean I don't Swear! Its been a few decades since my last confession. Would it be possible to meet up one day to discuss some important matters ? I've been ex communicated 3 times. It doesn't seem fair. Sincerely Madonna". Well, Pope Leo may just end up delivering Madonna from evil, given their kinship!

Who is Kirara Asuka? Japanese adult star linked to Ju Haknyeon's controversial exit and another idol
The K-pop world witnessed two major scandals break on June 18, 2025 — the first involving former NCT member Taeil, who admitted to all charges of special quasi-rape during his initial court appearance, and the second being THE BOYZ removing Ju Haknyeon from the group following his meeting with a former Japanese AV (adult video) actress. However, Taeil's admission to sexually assaulting an intoxicated woman alongside two non-celebrity acquaintances last year was seemingly overshadowed by Ju Haknyeon's encounter with Kirara Asuka. His departure from THE BOYZ has since reignited public interest in Asuka — not only because of her recent link to the K-pop idol, but also due to a similar incident from her past. Who is Kirara Asuka? Kirara Asuka, born October 2, 1988, in Tokyo, rose to fame after debuting in Japan's AV industry in 2007. Following a successful run of over a decade, she stepped away from adult films in 2020 to focus on life as a social media influencer. She later made appearances in mainstream media, including roles in Ultraman Ginga and related specials. Asuka reportedly met Ju Haknyeon during a late-night gathering in Tokyo on May 29. The incident has brought renewed attention to her dating life, especially after Chosun Biz highlighted her previous relationship with a younger YouTuber who had publicly spoken about his disability. Ju Haknyeon removed from THE BOYZ So what is Ju Haknyeon's connection to Kirara Asuka? According to eyewitnesses, the two were seen drinking and behaving intimately throughout the evening in Tokyo — a sighting that caused a storm of backlash from Korean fans. One Hundred Label later announced that Ju Haknyeon would be leaving both the group and the agency following the reports. He had already been on hiatus since June 16, and the company cited the "severity of the issue" in its decision to terminate his contract. 주학년 더보이즈 탈퇴 및 전속계약 해지 안내 Kirara Asuka's past link to another idol resurfaces An old tabloid report has resurfaced online, once again drawing attention to Kirara Asuka's past connection with a K-pop idol. The article, originally published by Shukan Josei eight years ago, claimed that Asuka and Hey! Say! JUMP's Inoo Kei were spotted together on what appeared to be a romantic getaway in Singapore. The two were reportedly photographed spending time at Marina Bay Sands, including sharing a jacuzzi. At the time, Inoo Kei's agency, Johnny & Associates, denied the rumors of a relationship. They stated the pair had first met at a friend's dinner party and that their encounter in Singapore was purely coincidental. Asuka's agency backed the explanation, while she herself remained silent on the matter. Now, almost a decade later, Asuka finds herself at the center of another idol-related controversy — and comparisons are inevitable. But this time, the fallout has been much more severe, sparking intense backlash and far-reaching consequences.
