Creation of data-driven hits:
Regional music is no longer constricted to that region:
Resurrection of Legends:
It is no surprise that AI has entered the music industry along with the hundred other industries it has blended itself into, where it has made itself inseparably interwoven. The music industry is one that has always been a dynamic integration of tradition and evolution. With AI, the music industry has the potential to turn into a technologically driven ecosystem, serving both opportunities and obstacles.AI has extended its digital arms into all the little aspects of the music industry, from creation and production to writing, not to mention the way it is consumed and experienced. Not only has the integration of AI made music recording, writing, and production as a whole efficient, but it has also increased creativity.AI tools, with their ability to analyze vast amounts of data, identify patterns, and predict trends, have transformed music production by reducing the need for costly high-end studios, professional sound engineers, and expensive instruments. With the rise of AI-driven platforms like AIVA , Amper Music, and Soundraw, musicians now have access to studio-quality tools at the click of a button. This accessibility significantly lowers the costs traditionally associated with live sessions and high-budget studios. As a result, this innovation has made music creation far more accessible to independent artists who previously faced challenges in producing high-quality content quickly. To ensure their creations are marketed effectively for maximum impact and sustained momentum, artists increasingly rely on AI tools. These technologies not only make music creation accessible to emerging artists but also support trend analysis , helping them identify the sounds that will resonate with their target audiences.Considering the previously mentioned abilities of AI tools, it opens the doors wide open for data-driven hits. Here the AI tools analyze data across a multitude of different platforms, identify patterns and trends, and analyze niche audiences and general public preferences, which can help artists create hits with much less time consumed in the process. This method reduces expenditure once again, although what makes it stand out is that it minimizes commercial risk. The data analysis is done with the sole purpose of determining if this particular piece of music will be perceived in a manner that garners the optimum kind of attention upon release.Via the means of AI-powered recommendation engines, regional music is transformed into global music with smarter and more effective targeting. For instance, the AI-driven recommendations on Spotify, YouTube, and Apple Music analyze the user's listening patterns, choices, and dislikes. These systems further track the user's mood and engagement time to garner results with precision. This method stands in direct contrast to merely relying on genre preference or language labels. Therefore, Malayalam folk music will no longer be constrained to the Malayalam-speaking region; rather, if these songs' emotional tones or rhythms match with American acoustic music, then the Malayalam folk music will be recommended to the users living in the latter-mentioned region as well. This expands its reach, overcoming the so-called 'impenetrable' language barriers.AI, joined with its infamous resurrection capabilities, can revive musical legends for a wholesome night of tribute. For instance, The Beatles completed their new song, 45 years after their debut into the industry, with a significant amount of help from AI. It was used in this case to isolate John Lennon's vocals in an old demo he had recorded before his passing. This song also possessed feature parts recorded by the late George Harrison, which was also made possible thanks to AI's involvement. There are several other tribute-dedicated sites that create immersive concert-like experiences of the departed musical legends, such as the 'Elvis Evolution,' created for the musical legend Elvis Presley. To conclude, AI in the music industry isn't merely a trendy hashtag but rather a transformative wave. It doesn't just change the way we listen to music but also breaks down language and regional barriers.

Arjun Kapoor expresses his deep fondness for Shah Rukh Khan: ‘I think he is even way ahead of AI'
Arjun Kapoor began his journey in the film industry as an assistant director on the sets of Kal Ho Naa Ho. It was there that he had the rare opportunity to observe and interact closely with superstar Shah Rukh Khan, an experience he holds very dear. Recalling that memory on the Raj Shamani podcast, Arjun shared how profoundly it impacted him. The actor said, 'I was completely enamoured by the way he is. Some people are touched by Gods, some people have larger-than-life personas, they really transcend generations. I think the brain he's got, it's very unique and peculiar. I think he is even way ahead of AI. Just the way he understands, he has human compassion. He is meticulous, yet also has all the time in the world to be sits with you and looks you in the eyes while speaking…But at the same time, his awareness is so high that he knows exactly what else is going on around him).' The Browser Company launches AI web browser ‘Dia' in invite-only beta
Dia, a new AI web browser developed by The Browsing Company, was launched in beta on Wednesday, June 11. The browser provides users with an in-built AI interface. It is currently available for use by invite only. 'Dia gets more personalized with every tab you open. This is 100x more context than ChatGPT, automatically. And we believe it changes what's possible with AI,' Josh Miller, the CEO of The Browsing Company, said in a post on X. With Dia, the company is looking to enable easier access to AI tools without visiting sites like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Claude. Existing Arc members will also be able to access Dia. Current Dia users will further be able to send invites to other users, the company said. For years, web browsers have been the main way in which people access and use the internet. However, the rise of AI has posed an existential threat to traditional web browsers, prompting companies to race toward integrating AI directly into the browsing experience. Dia is a browser that is built on top of Chromium, the open source browser project led by Google. The browser interface looks familiar with a URL bar for users to type in their search queries. However, this URL bar can also serve as the interface to prompt an in-built AI chatbot. This chatbot can carry out searches on the web and summarise uploaded files. It is also capable of automatically switching between chat and search modes, according to a report by TechCrunch. In addition, Dia appears to have screen awareness as users can ask questions about the tabs that they have open. The AI chatbot can also generate a document with text based on the content from those tabs. Dia becomes more personalised with more use, as per the company. 'Every time you open a new tab, Dia's memory automatically takes notes for you […] These notes are encrypted & stored locally. We don't take notes on sensitive pages like banking,' Miller said. It also has an opt-in feature called History where users can choose to give the browser access to seven days of their browsing history in order to receive more personalised answers to their search queries. Another feature on Dia called Skills provides short strings of AI-generated code that can serve as shortcuts for various settings. Last year, The Browser Company launched a web browser called Arc. While it gained popularity among a select group of users, the firm could not scale the browser effectively with its complicated interface acting as a barrier for mass adoption. Since then, the company has reportedly been working on developing a browser with AI at the heart of it. Other companies have also sought to integrate AI features into their web browsers. For instance, Google recently announced that it is bringing Gemini to Chrome users in the US. This is in addition to AI Mode and AI Overviews in Google Search. Opera Neon, on the other hand, has started giving users access to AI agents capable of autonomously building mini-applications and carrying out other minor tasks on their behalf.
