Eason Chan's daughter Constance to release new song on 26 June
25 Jun - Eason Chan's daughter, Constance Chan recently announced that she will be releasing her first single under Warner Music.
Sharing the good news on Instagram, Constance, who recently signed with Warner Music Hong Kong, posted a short clip of her recording her song, and captioned it, "my new family<3".
She also revealed that the first song, an English song titled "doll" will be released on 26 June on all platforms. The song is co-written with songwriter and producer Ernest Choi, known for his work with Faye Wong's daughter and singer-songwriter Leah Dou.
The promotional photos were shot by Hong Kong photographer Issac Lam, who noted that although Constance was likely a bit nervous at first, she quickly became comfortable and natural in front of the camera, showing no signs of being a first-timer.
Warner Music also posted the announcement on its IG Story, and wrote, "Welcome to Warner Family."
Constance has also switched her personal social media account from "private" to "public", officially beginning interactions with fans.
The young singer shared that "doll" is more than just a song, but a heartfelt reflection of her personal experiences. She wrote it during a period of emotional turmoil, using the metaphor of a doll to express the feeling of being manipulated or controlled.
The music video (MV) will be released that same night at 9.00 PM.

Saturday Morning Webtoons: TEARS ON A WITHERED FLOWER and ALL COLORS OF SNOW
Good morning, fellow WEBTOON readers, and welcome to this week's installment of Saturday Morning Webtoons! This is where we shine a light on two WEBTOONs we are thoroughly enjoying. These stories have captivated us, chapter by chapter, each week, and we couldn't pass up sharing them with you! So grab your favorite snacks and an electronic device and settle into these sensational stories. DISCLAIMER: The following posts may contain spoilers for the WEBTOON series Tears on a Withered Flower and All Colors of Snow . RELATED: 10 Best WEBTOON Series Released in 2024 Tears on a Withered Flower Tears on a Withered Flower WEBTOON Original Series. We are heading back into the romance category on this week's installment. Kicking things off is GAE's Tears on a Withered Flower . The story follows Haesu, a young woman struggling in her marriage. After working so hard to clear up his debt, only to learn he cheated with a coworker, her life starts to spiral. During this, she is drawn to a mysterious man named Taeha, who has been desperately seeking her attention. But could he be hiding something that she's too desperate to see? We love a good WEBTOON series, but there is something about those that fall into the mature category. Tears on a Withered Flower doesn't shy away from the intensity this story brings. Haesu and Mincheol's relationship is herendous from the moment we meet them. Having the opportunity to see both perspectives enhances our understanding of the subject. The series is still new, but it has already captured our hearts. We want the best for Haesu, and at this point, there is a chance neither gentleman will fit the bill. Tears on a Withered Flower updates every Thursday. Readers can find it on the official WEBTOON page. RELATED: 5 Tyrants that WEBTOON Made Me Fall in Love With All Colors of Snow All Colors of Snow WEBTOON Original Series. Our second series, Ah Ai Maria's All Colors of Snow , falls into the romance category as well. The story follows Eugene, a young girl living in France and a part of high society. But that isn't where she wants to be. She wants more than balls, operas, embroidery and all that comes with being a lady. Eugene wants adventure. She wants to see the world and experience everything it has to offer. And after a fateful encounter with a mysterious Count, all of Eugene's might come true. But so may her nightmares. We enjoy a good historical romance, but we love one that also features drama and suspense. All Colors of Snow meets all of these things and never takes itself too seriously. We love the attention to detail, along with updating things like the dialogue to fit the normal flow of this century. While this series is a new original, it did spend some time in Canvas, which is where we first fell in love. No spoilers here, but readers are going to be over the moon with this series. We suggest not waiting to dive in, start early and read it often. All Colors of Snow updates every Wednesday. Readers can find it on the official WETBOON page. Book Review: THE ROM-COM COOKBOOK

Isao Takahata Exhibition In Tokyo Is Both Poignant And Fascinating
The legendary Isao Takahata finally has a comprehensive exhibition of his work in anime, and it is both poignant as it is fascinating. Takahata was one of the co-founders of Studio Ghibli, along with Hayao Miyazaki, with whom he often collaborated. While Takahata sadly died in 2018, his work is very much with us, as this exhibition shows. Much of Ghibli's early output was cemented through Takahata's involvement and steady hand. He was a producer on both Nausicaä and Laputa, and his expertise is also very much present in the pre-Ghibli but still amazing Future Boy Conan. Being a very talented director and screenwriter in his own right, Takahata would also mark out his own career in anime. For many, though, it's his 1988 film, Grave of the Fireflies, that many really know him for. Dealing with the horrific reality of children attempting to survive the Second World War in Japan, it's a truly harrowing tale. Isao Takahata is a legendary figure in anime. So, this exhibition has an enormous amount of ground to cover, which it does with respectful thoroughness. From how Takahata started out in anime, to his work on early famous anime movies and popular TV shows, you really get to see how diligent and capable Takahata really was at managing these productions. FEATURED | Frase ByForbes™ Unscramble The Anagram To Reveal The Phrase Pinpoint By Linkedin Guess The Category Queens By Linkedin Crown Each Region Crossclimb By Linkedin Unlock A Trivia Ladder From Heidi to Anne of Green Gables, Takahata cemented himself as a genuinely wholesome and thoughtful anime director. I also feel that, along with Yoshiyuki Tomino, Takahata's contribution to Future Boy Conan is what makes it so remarkable. So, if you're in Tokyo and want to pay your respects to Takahata's impressive body of work, this exhibition comes very much recommended. The Isao Takahata Exhibition is now open to the public at the Azabudai Hills Gallery in Tokyo. Tickets start at 2,000 yen (or around $14 at the current exchange rate) and it will run until September 15.
