Simon travelled to Eton back on the hunt for medals following a stunning hat-trick back in April.
He made the trip to contest the UK Athletic League Premier Division for Glasgow Jaguars.
Competing in the Premier Division means that Simon is taking on the fastest athletes from across the UK.
Heading into the weekend, he was keen to test a new race plan in the 100 metres.
After a steady start, he was soon into his running, working through the phases before crossing the line in a season-best finish.
His performance did not go unnoticed and his learnings were put to good use as he was selected to anchor the 4x100 metre relay squad later in the day.

Joining Glasgow's fastest quartet, Simon exploded into action as the baton got to him with 100m to go.
Okiti was soon at top speed, mixing it with some of the UK's top sprinters.
Undeterred by the company he was rubbing shoulders with, he powered the team home, stopping the clock in a time that took them to the top of the Scottish rankings and the third fastest relay time in history.
Simon's season now progresses toward Grangemouth, Cardiff and Derby in the coming weeks.

More changes at Man United as Dave Brailsford scales back role with the troubled club
MANCHESTER, England (AP) — Manchester United's soccer operations are undergoing yet more change with one of its key figures Dave Brailsford scaling back his role with the troubled club, a person familiar with the situation told The Associated Press. The person spoke on the condition of anonymity because the information has not been made public. Brailsford, who was credited for his role in British cycling's spectacular Olympic success in recent years, was a key component of billionaire Jim Ratcliffe's United overhaul following his minority investment in the club last year. But things haven't gone to plan, with the 20-time English champion suffering its lowest finish in the Premier League era last season — 15th — and recording its lowest points total and highest number of losses. Brailsford, who is also sporting director for Ratcliffe's petrochemicals firm INEOS, will remain in that role and also as a United director. However his day-to-day involvement will be reduced, the person said. It is the latest in a slew of changes at United over the past year since Ratcliffe paid $1.3 billion for an initial 25% stake in United, assumed control of its soccer operations from majority owners the Glazer family and vowed to bring the good times back. In that time there have been high-profile hirings and firings, as well new lows on the field and job cuts. Former manager Erik ten Hag went in October — just three months after being handed a one-year contract extension. Director of football Dan Ashworth left the club less than six months into the job and following lengthy negotiations to pry him away from Newcastle. Omar Berrada was lured from Manchester City to become CEO and Jason Wilcox, formerly director of City's academy, became technical director. They remain in position as two key members of the leadership team above coach Ruben Amorim. ___ James Robson is at ___ AP soccer:

Manchester United make first bid worth up to £55m for Brentford's Bryan Mbeumo
Manchester United have submitted an opening offer to sign Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford. The proposal values Mbeumo at £45million plus £10m in add-ons, which is some way below the kind of fee it would take for Brentford to consider selling their Cameroon international forward. But talks are ongoing as United work to reach an agreement for a player targeted by head coach Ruben Amorim to strengthen his attacking unit. Advertisement Mbeumo, 25, has a year left on his contract at the Gtech Community Stadium — plus an option to extend by 12 months — but is keen on moving to Old Trafford if the clubs can strike a compromise. The Athletic previously reported that the 25-year-old wanted to join United and that the Old Trafford club were set to open talks with Brentford as they pursue an agreement to sign the forward this summer. He enjoyed a breakout campaign in 2024-25, scoring 20 goals and adding eight assists as Brentford finished 10th. Thomas Frank has been open that the club would be open to selling Mbeumo, but only if their valuation is met. 'If the right price — and that's going to be expensive — is coming, then I'm sure the club will be open to it,' Frank told Sky Sports last month. A versatile attacking player, Mbeumo is comfortable playing both out wide or through the middle. He has made 242 appearances for Brentford since joining from French side Troyes in 2019. He has scored 70 goals and provided 51 assists in that time. He also has been capped 18 times by Cameroon and he has scored four goals. Manchester United are in the market for attacking reinforcements this summer after registering just 44 league goals last term, second-worst outside of teams who were relegated. Matheus Cunha will arrive from Wolverhampton Wanderers while they held a strong interest in Ipswich Town's Liam Delap, before he ultimately opted to join Chelsea. ()
