The Scot and the brunette real estate investor have been on and off for a few years after first being linked in 2014.
However it seems that their red carpet love display is an indicator the pair are officially back on.
The loved-up pair held hands and hugged while flexing their muscles for photographers in a comical nod to Butler's character in the movie, Viking leader, Stoick The Vast.
After splitting with Morgan during the Covid pandemic, he said: "I went through a break-up during corona so I lost a loved one in a different way, and that's been very hard, much harder than I thought."
It's the second time in recent weeks the pair have been pictured together after she was the actor's plus one at a 45th birthday bash for actor Oliver Trevena.
Also on the red carpet was Gerard's actor pal and fellow Scot, Tony Curran who brought along his wife and daughter to the premiere.
Tony, who has starred in Doctor Who, Thor, Underworld, amongst others, gushed about his 'brother' Gerard on his Instagram page where he shared pictures from the event, saying: "
What a magical time, thank you for sharing such a special day brother!"
Gerard splits his time between LA where he has a home and Scotland where he is often spotted when he is home visiting family.
The One Show in last minute shake-up as Hollywood star pulls out of show due to sudden illness
In February this year the superstar was seen cheering on a team of more than 300 cyclists raising funds for motor neurone disease (MND) research in memory of rugby legend Doddie Weir.
The actor greeted the Doddie's Grand Tour team as they arrived at Glenalmond College in Perthshire.
Butler chatted and signed autographs with tour leaders Rob Wainwright, Mark Beaumont, Gordon D'Arcy and the rest of the teams.
More than 300 cyclists are journeying 800 miles across Ireland and Scotland to raise funds for the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation.

Paisley rocker Davey Pattison back on stage after battling cancer and brain lesion
He is making an amazing comeback on stage after a 'nightmare' year of multiple health battles. Paisley rock star Davey Pattison is making an amazing comeback on stage after a 'nightmare' year that saw him beat prostate cancer then spend more than four months in hospital with a lesion on his brain. And Davey admits that, when he was at his lowest ebb lying in a hospital bed unable to hold a conversation with anyone, he thought he was going to die. But the singer has fought back to recover from his life-threatening health problems and is performing with his band at Ivory Blacks, in Glasgow, on Friday, June 13. The lead vocalist was plucked from obscurity in the late 1970s after being invited to join legendary American guitarist Ronnie Montrose's newly-formed rock band, Gamma and spent the next 40 years living in California. Davey also went on to become the lead singer with the Robin Trower Band, recording solo albums and doing countless studio sessions making TV adverts for the likes of the Mattel toy company, Coca Cola and Taco Bell. After returning to Scotland several years ago to live in Paisley, he formed The Davey Pattison Band and gigged all over the country. That was until early in 2024 when he was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Davey successfully battled the cancer after going through 20 radiotherapy sessions at The Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre, in Glasgow. Davey revealed he took a lot of comfort and positivity from the doctor who first saw him at The Beatson when she said: 'We're going to fix this. We'll get rid of the cancer.' And after being told he no longer had prostate cancer, Davey thought he would quickly get back on stage and start gigging again – even after a bout of covid that made him unwell again. But these hopes were dashed when one day Davey was on the phone to a friend and suddenly started talking what he describes as 'gibberish', became confused and couldn't see properly in both eyes. He was immediately admitted to Paisley's Royal Alexandra Hospital where at first doctors suspected he had suffered a stroke. But an MRI scan showed this wasn't the problem. After several weeks of tests at the hospital, there was still no diagnosis and he was transferred to the neurosurgical unit at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, in Glasgow. And after several weeks there, further scans showed he had suffered a lesion on his brain. Davey explained: 'At first, I thought this must be a cancerous brain tumour caused by the radiation therapy I had for prostate cancer. 'But I'm told that although all brain tumours are a type of lesion, not all lesions are brain tumours and the damage to my brain had been caused by a temporary lack of blood flow to that area. 'It seemed to me that I was in hospital for an eternity and not knowing what was causing my symptoms really scared me. It frightened me more than being told I had cancer. At one point it crossed my mind that I was going to die.' As the weeks in hospital turned into months, Davey's speech and general health began to improve and a breakthrough came when an MRI scan showed the lesion had shrunk. Weeks later another scan showed the lesion had shrunk even more and finally, in February a scan revealed the lesion had completely disappeared and he was allowed home. As Davey became stronger, one of the first things he did was book a rehearsal room to run through a set of songs with his band – Jim Keilt and Euan Maxwell, on guitar; Alan McAuley, on bass; Mikey Grant on keyboards and James Nevans on drums. Davey said: 'Although the first rehearsal tired me out, by the time I had gone through another couple of sessions with the band, it was as if I'd never been away. 'Now, I can't wait to get back on stage at Ivory Blacks. After everything I've been through I'm raring to go and it will be a special night for me.' Davey also paid tribute to the care he received in both hospitals. 'I've had a nightmare year health-wise, but if I've learned anything from all the time I spent in hospital it's that we are so lucky to have the NHS,' he said. 'I cannot praise the doctors, nurses and other staff enough – they are very special people. They are a different class and I won't have a bad word said about the NHS.'

Lifeline Paisley charity marks National Volunteers' Week
Paisley Buddies who dedicate hours of their time to the Star Project took part in the Rhythm to a T session to celebrate National Volunteers' Week. A message of solidarity sounded loud and clear last week as anti-poverty volunteers took part in a drumming session. Paisley Buddies who dedicate hours of their time to the Star Project took part in the Rhythm to a T session to celebrate National Volunteers' Week. An incredible 60 volunteers pledged 6,420 hours, or 917 working days, of their time to the Paisley charity in 2024, bolstering the charity's ability to build a resilient community in the midst of the cost-of-living crisis. Star hosted an afternoon of celebration and gratitude last Thursday to recognise the phenomenal contribution people make to their lifeline projects. Volunteers had the opportunity to spend time together and share in the incredible session offered by Rhythm to a T, a Paisley-based drumming facilitator that runs drumming groups specifically to help with mental health and wellbeing. Anna Gibb, senior development worker at the Star Project, said: 'We are incredibly grateful to all our wonderful volunteers. 'The time and dedication they give to Star Project cannot be underestimated and we wouldn't be able to run all our different services without them. 'The skills and experience each volunteer brings to their role makes Star Project a richer, more inclusive place, and we cannot thank them enough for their hard work.' As part of their celebration event, volunteers were gifted vouchers for free haircuts at Haus of Seisay Hairdressing Academy. A fellow charity, Haus of Seisay strives to provide career opportunities in hairdressing for care experienced young people. Star Project has been at the forefront of tackling the impact of poverty, deprivation and associated stigma since its creation in Paisley in 1999. It, with the support of its volunteers, delivers successful group, individual and community activities and supports that build resilience through themes of wellbeing, connections and creativity. Volunteers work across the daily drop-in, Paisley Men's Shed, Community Fridge, Pantry Plus and the Board of Trustees. When asked why they chose to volunteer with Star Project, one volunteer said: 'Star is my second family, I don't know where I'd be without them, to me, Star is a place of safety, friendliness and inclusion.' Another volunteer added: 'I love volunteering at Star because it is such a welcoming atmosphere and it helps me feel good about myself'.

Hidden gem documentary that inspired 90s comedy legend free to watch on BBC iPla
BBC iPlayer is secretly home to one of the most influential documentary films of the 1990s – and barely anybody in Britain knows it's there. Three Salons At the Seaside – directed by Philippa Lowthorpe – was first aired in 1994 and, over 40 minutes, followed the story of three real hair salons in Blackpool. Focusing on the staff and customers at Vanity Box, Tricia's Hair Salon, and Mary's Way, Three Salons At the Seaside has been retrospectively celebrated as a touching time capsule of 20th century Britain. The documentary was thought to be lost to history, only surviving in bits and pieces on YouTube, but the BBC uploaded the entire thing to iPlayer in 2022. Renewed interest in the documentary film inspired a 2022 American parody called Two Hairdressers in Bagglyport, which starred none other than Hollywood actress Cate Blanchett. But most importantly, its resurrection encouraged Stockport-born comedy writer Craig Cash – of The Royle Family, Early Doors, and Gogglebox – to reveal that his writing partner Caroline Aherne had been a huge fan. Together, Craig and Aherne – who died of lung cancer in 2016 – co-wrote The Royle Family, which ran for three seasons and numerous specials between 1998 and 2012. Set in Manchester, The Royle Family was situated inside the home of the titular TV-obsessives, who were played by Ricky Tomlinson, Ralf Little, Liz Smith, and Sue Johnston, alongside on-screen couple Craig and Aherne. It won several awards during its run and is often celebrated as one of the best British sitcoms of its time – it drew in 10 million viewers at its peak in 1999. Speaking to the Radio Times in 2023, Craig said: 'We took inspiration from real life and our families. We watched the documentary about hairdressers, Three Salons at the Seaside, which we thought was hilarious. 'Sometimes people get bogged down in plot and narrative at the expense of character and dialogue. For us it was all about the pauses, how people really are.' In particular, viewers have noticed that Hilary – a hair stylist and administrator working at Vanity Box – bears a striking resemblance in appearance and personality to one of Aherne's characters, Mrs. Merton. The Mrs Merton Show ran between 1993 and 1998 on the BBC, and some estimations put the average viewing figures at somewhere between seven and eight million. On Facebook, Paul Davies thought aloud: 'I wonder if Caroline Aherne took a little bit of the spirit of these wonderful ladies for her Mrs Merton character.' Many fans of the documentary cite its peaceful atmosphere and honest portrayal of northern working class life as reasons for repeatedly watching it year after year. Others have cited that it reminds them very precisely of the world before reality TV and social media, and even in the days before widespread internet usage and Sky TV. Karen O'Mahoney said on Facebook: 'There's something so heartwarming about [Three Salons At the Seaside]. Hard to believe it's only 30 years ago, feels like another age.' A scene which has stuck with viewers focused on a 'funeral bag' that Vanity Box handed out to its customers whenever they were having their hair done in order to say goodbye to a friend or relative. The women in the salon would be given the funeral bag by Hilary upon their arrival at the salon – the clutch bag contained a small amount of money and a complementary mint. Fiona Botham commented: 'I love the kindness of the funeral bag with a bit of money and a mint. The hairdresser owner seems such a lovely woman.' In 2022, Three Salons At the Seaside was officially named by the Grierson Trust charity as one of the finest British documentaries made in the last 50 years. More Trending As for the status of each of the three salons – Mary's Way closed down some time between 2008 and 2012 according to Google Maps, while the shop unit that used to be home to Tricia's was renovated for housing in 2016. However, the Vanity Box is still going strong, with Google reviews from as recently as nine months ago still thanking the staff for their dedication and hard work at the centre of Blackpool's community. The short film's creator, Phillipa Lowthorpe, went on to direct episodes of Netflix hit series The Crown and the long-running BBC wartime drama Call the Midwife.
