Love Island: Ben is slammed for saying Shakira 'needed to be humbled' as her place in the show is put at risk - before he FORGETS bombshell Toni's name
Love Island's Ben Holbrough was slammed by viewers during Tuesday night's episode for saying that Shakira Khan 'needed to be humbled'.
The taxi driver, 23, made the comments to bombshell Toni after she stole him from Shakira on the opening episode.
As Toni and Ben then sat down for one of their first chats Ben then quipped to her: 'You humbled Shakira, she needed that I think' - in reference to her now being at risk of being dumped.
Toni quickly hit back: 'I don't want to talk about her I want to get to know you!'
Shakira is now single and must be selected by one boy in tonight's recoupling or she will be going home.
Later in the chat with Toni Ben then had a slip of the tongue as he accidentally called her Tori instead - much to her disgust.

Shakira sparked a feud and was warned to 'keep it PG' as she flirted with the boys in scenes on Tuesday.

The construction project manager, 26, is currently vulnerable from being dumped from the Island following the entrance of bombshell Toni.
And it would seem the other girls are feeling the pressure to keep hold of their men as Shakira kick starts her day of grafting.
As Dejon checks in with Shakira, Meg watches on with worry, and tells the group: 'I don't have my man, Dejon's gone - that's it!'
Meanwhile, Shakira is heard saying to Dejon: 'That was a lot, it was intense, I was trying not to shake like a leaf. I've got a busy day ahead of me by the looks of it!'
Later, Dejon and Meg head to the Terrace, with Dejon keen to reassure Meg.
He tells her: 'You haven't got anything to worry about, you're my favourite, one thing about me is I'll always be honest with my feelings.'
The next morning Toni offers Shakira a pep talk and explains: 'Just so you know, it wasn't personal, I'm rooting for you...who else are you interested in?'
'Everyone!' Shakira replied.
Toni continues: 'I'm telling you, I believe in you, you're not leaving.'
Shakira added: 'I know the boys are attracted to me on a surface level, but it's about whether we click.'
Toni advises: 'I think today we'll find out, don't be afraid to talk to people…I'm telling you, nothing's locked in place - I'm only safe today.'
Shakira wastes no time and asks Harry for a chat on the terrace, with her teasing: 'Haza you little minx!'
Harry replies: 'It's day two come on let's keep it PG.'
Putting the effort in to find a new connection, Shakira then pulls Conor for a chat and he tells her: 'You surprised me, you came in with massive energy, but I feel like you're not like that, you're chill and smart.'
Shakira admits: 'I love the Irish accent, it's sexy! I've never dated an Irish guy.'
She also catches up with Blu telling him: 'I think it's good cause it gives everyone a kick up the bum…I think you've got a good vibe…you're very calming and I don't have to put on a bravado.'
The work doesn't stop there as she also pulls Tommy by the pool telling him: 'I think it's best I try to get to know everyone.'

Cal review – grieving Helen Mirren superb in compassionate Troubles romance
Pat O'Connor's Northern Irish movie from 1984, adapted by author Bernard MacLaverty from his own novel, holds up very well for its rerelease; better in fact than most of the movies and TV drama made about and during the Troubles. It has an unhurried, thoughtful and very human quality; Helen Mirren won the best actress award at Cannes for her performance here and in fact it is very well acted across the board by a blue-chip cast. Mirren plays Marcella, a woman from a Catholic background, married across the sectarian divide to a reserve police officer murdered at his parents' farmhouse by an IRA man who had bullied a bewildered local guy into being his getaway driver; this is Cal, played by the gauntly intense John Lynch. Cal lives with his widowed father; a gentle performance by Donal McCann, who was Gabriel Conroy in John Huston's The Dead. But as the only Catholics in a Protestant neighbourhood, they are burned out of their home by loyalist gangs. Having quit his job at the gruesome abattoir, Cal gets a job labouring at Marcella's farm and is allowed to live in an outbuilding; Marcella's fiercely Protestant brother-in-law and mother-in-law (excellent performances from Ray McAnally and Catherine Gibson) take pity and almost a shine to the poor, put-upon Cal. And Cal, despite or because of being secretly complicit in the murder of Marcella's husband, and intensely aware of her loneliness and ambiguous nameless yearning, falls deeply in love with her. There can't be many movies about love in which the principals don't so much as kiss until an hour and a quarter into the running time. What leads up to the main event is an observant, bleak, sometimes mordantly funny and compassionate account of everyone's melancholy existence; it then becomes an almost Hardyesque romance of the countryside as Cal initially gets a job potato-picking and is ferried out to the fields with all the other hired hands in the back of a van. Having nothing to do most of the time, Cal is always being chivvied into doing 'jobs' for his overbearing mate Crilly (Stevan Rimkus), who is in awe of the local republican hard man, Skeffington (John Kavanagh). There is one black-comic scene in which Cal has to be the driver when, to boost IRA coffers, Crilly robs a cinema showing Superman III. There is much ambient detail to notice, including Sinn Féin posters showing the face of Martin McGuinness. (Could anyone have guessed that 28 years later he would be shaking hands with the queen?) Lovers of classic 80s British cinema will appreciate that a tough RUC man is played by Daragh O'Malley, who would go on to play the dodgy guy shouting 'perfumed ponce' in a Camden pub in Withnail and I. Most of all, Mirren and Lynch's love scene is a model for how to show sex in a grownup, candid, non-exploitative way; this was a career highlight for Mirren and an outstanding debut for the young Lynch. Cal is in UK and Irish cinemas from 13 June.

Sydney Sweeney and her younger brother head out for Echo Valley London premiere
brought her rarely-seen younger brother to the European premiere of Echo Valley and the following afterparty at London 's BFI Southbank on Tuesday night. The actress, 27, look glamorous at the event in a halter neck baby blue gown, with a flowing tulle train, before changing for the afterparty. Sydney stars opposite Julianne Moore in the psychological thriller which explores how far a mother - played by Julianne - will go for their child. Family date: Sydney Sweeney took her younger brother as her date to the European premiere of Echo Valley at London's BFI Southbank on Tuesday night For the afterparty, Sydney changed into a satin Miu Miu champagne-coloured dress, that clung to her slim figure and displayed her cleavage. Her little brother Trent looked smart in a leather blazer, black trousers, and aviator shades. The siblings were joined by Trent's girlfriend, Samayre Soto - with the couple looking loved up as he sweetly kissed her cheek. Samayre dressed in an edgy black corseted satin dress which exposed her toned midriff and impressive collection of tattoos. Trent is Sydney's only sibling. He enjoys a life away from the limelight and rarely makes appearances on the red carpet. However, the brother-and-sister have frequently shown their very strong bond, including on Instagram. In 2020, Sydney touched on their relationship, as she discussed whether it was similar to the sibling rivalry depicted in her film Nocturne. She said: 'Not so much the competitive side, but I roughed him up and tried to push him to do more.' After a few minor acting gigs in his childhood, Trent ultimately decided to not pursue an on-screen career. In 2020, he began military training for the United States Air Force, with Sydney showing her support on Instagram at the time by posting several throwback photos of the pair as kids. In a sweet tribute, Sydney captioned the post: 'My little bro leaves for basic training tomorrow. Wishing you luck, bud. When the going gets tough just remember your sister is tougher than you.' Trent has also shown his support for Sydney from the start of her huge Hollywood career by previously promoting her Netflix series Everything Sucks! and protesting its cancellation. In 2019, he shared a throwback selfie of the pair as he voiced his pride at her Screen Actors Guild nomination for her performance in The Handmaid's Tale. He wrote: 'I know this is an old picture and I already posted it, but I wanted to congratulate my sis @sydney_sweeney on being nominated for a SAG award and wish her the best of luck.' The sibling outing comes after Sydney opened up about how she and Trent had to live in a Holiday Inn for nine months after her parents were declared bankrupt. She is now a multi-million dollar success story after making it with acting with roles in Anyone But You, The White Lotus, and The Handmaid's Tale. However, before hitting the big time her family faced several struggles when her mother, Lisa, a criminal defence lawyer, and her father who worked in hospitality, were declared bankrupt. In 2013 when she was 16, her parents who are now divorced, sold their home in Washington, with the family of four living in a one-bedroom hotel room for months. Just a baby: Sydney and Trent pictured as children eating dinner on a makeshift table which appears to be an ironing board Speaking to The Times about her tough childhood, Sydney said: 'We lived in the Holiday Inn in Burbank [northwest LA] for eight and a half months but it felt like my entire life. 'We were sharing a one-bedroom hotel room, no kitchen, no balcony. A pull-out sofa bed, where my dad and brother slept, my mom and me in the bed.' Detailing how her and Trent coped, she said: 'My brother and I tried to make the best of it - we would joke around and say we were in The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. 'We'd run around the different hallways and find stairwells and make friends with all the staff and they would make us grilled cheese.' Sydney now boasts an incredible property portfolio after finding her own financial success thanks to her movie and TV work.

David Beckham announced as guest editor of Country Life magazine after years of reading 'every issue from cover to cover'
It was only last month that David Beckham charmed the King through his love of gardening. And now he will continue to put his green thumb to use as the former footballer is announced as the latest star to guest edit Country Life Magazine. The father-of-four, who is tipped for a knighthood in the King's birthday honours list, is known for being a staunch royalist and has swapped the football pitch for the countryside in recent years. The one-off edition is said to feature Beckham's best-loved recipe, as well as his rural champions, and the craftsmen and women who have helped to shape his home in the Cotswolds, together with an insight into how the countryside has come to play an increasingly important role in his life. King Charles has twice guest-edited Country Life to mark his 65th birthday in November 2013 and his 70th in 2018 when he was the Prince of Wales. In 2020, the Princess Royal masterminded a special issue to commemorate her 70th birthday, while the Queen, then the Duchess of Cornwall, took the editorial reins in 2022 to mark her 75th birthday – and produced a record-breaking sell-out edition. David Beckham said: 'I am honoured to have been invited to guest edit an edition of a magazine that I have always admired and read. I am really looking forward to working with the editorial team to produce an issue that will celebrate what the countryside and the great British landscape means to me and my family.' David, 50, and Victoria Beckham, 51, bought their £12m Cotswolds mansion in 2016 and he has since developed a love for beekeeping and growing vegetables. So proud of his work, Mr Beckham even presented the King with a jar of honey he harvested at home when the pair met at the British Fashion Council Foundation Impact Day 2023. The ex-England captain last month chatted with King Charles at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in London, with their bond reportedly growing close in recent years through their shared love of gardening. The 76-year-old monarch was heard congratulating the former England footballer on his landmark celebrations – and asked the star whether he had received their present. Standing outside the Highgrove stand run by the monarch's charity, the King's Foundation, Beckham – who is now an ambassador for the organisation – greeted the sovereign warmly and said: 'Your Majesty, it's so nice to see you.' Astonishingly, Charles then appeared to ask whether he had received the birthday present that he and his wife had sent. 'You got it, didn't you?' he asked. 'It was incredible,' beamed Beckham. 'Thank you, it was very kind.' Camilla then added: 'Nice to see you again, glad you got the roses.' Earlier this week it was revealed the former footballer is to be awarded a knighthood on the King's Birthday Honour's List after being snubbed for years. The former Manchester United and England star, who recently celebrated his 50th birthday, will be confirmed as a 'Sir' when the list is released next week. Mr Beckham, who played for his country 115 times and was captain of the England football team for six years before he retired from the game in 2013, has long been a fan of Country Life, a fact he lost no time in telling Editor-in-Chief Mark Hedges when they first met nearly two years ago. Mark Hedges recalled: 'As soon as we were introduced, David told me how much he loves Country Life. He reads every issue from cover to cover and it's been a great companion to him as he's developed his own life in the countryside. 'I'm absolutely delighted that David has agreed to guest edit the magazine, especially as it will be my 1,000th issue since I became Editor. 'I know he has a deep love of the countryside, which has grown since he retired as a professional footballer, although he is, of course, still extremely busy as a businessman and an ambassador for a host of causes, such as UNICEF and The King's Foundation, as well as being co-owner of Inter Miami CF in the US and Salford City Football Club in the UK. As someone who is passionate about the countryside, I'm excited to see what his special commemorative issue will bring.'
