Tennis star Lois Boisson's joke about her body odor, explained

Tennis star Lois Boisson's joke about her body odor, explained Lois Boisson came into the 2025 French Open as a relative unknown, a 22-year-old ranked 361st in the world coming into the Grand Slam who had been ranked 152nd back in 2024. But the Dijon, France native has made a splash in front of the home crowd, making it to the quarterfinals after winning her first three matches, including a three-set upset over No. 3 seed Jessica Pegula. Which brings us to something about Boisson you might not know, or maybe you've seen some jokes online: there's a lot of talk about body odor. Where did that all come from? We're here to help you out: Who is Lois Boisson? As we mentioned, she's a 22-year-old French native who became the lowest-ranked player in the French Open quarterfinals in 40 years. What's with the Lois Boisson body odor jokes? Let's go back to April. She was playing against Harriet Dart in the Rouen Open and defeated the British tennis player, but not before Dart was overheard asking the umpire this: "Can you tell her to wear deodorant? She smells really bad." How did Boisson respond? With some humor: Did Dart apologize for the comments? Yes. Via Reuters:

Nicola Peltz Beckham Sets The Record Straight On Claims She 'Cut Brooklyn Out' Of Her Film

Nicola Peltz Beckham is speaking out about reports that she cut husband Brooklyn from her first film. Last year, Nicola made her directorial debut with the drama Lola, which she also starred in. In the lead-up to its release, the Transformers: Age Of Extinction star admitted that her famous husband was 'really upset' that a cameo scene he shot wound up on the cutting room floor, after she previously claimed his attempts at an American accent left her 'laughing so hard' in the editing room. However, in a new interview with Glamour, Nicola maintained that Brooklyn is still in the film – you just have to look hard for him. 'Just to be clear: No, I did not cut Brooklyn out of Lola!' she insisted. 'He wanted to shoot this scene where he and a friend stumble out of a strip club – it was supposed to be subtle. Instead they crawled through the scene like it was a comedy.' 'Apparently, I also looked into the camera too much,' Brooklyn noted, while his wife said that he also sounded 'way too British', meaning he 'just didn't fit' in the finished product. 'Honestly, he is in Lola; you just have to look closely,' she added. He had one line, 'Hi', but he kept saying it in a British accent and he was staring directly into the camera. 'I was like, 'oh God, we have to move on, good lord'. So, Brooklyn ended up on the chopping block.' Meanwhile, during the same Glamour interview, Nicola spoke out about the 'fake news' of which she is often the subject, amid widespread reports of a rift among the Beckham family.
