Metal Band Guitarist, 51, Lashes Out At Former Bandmates

Metal fans are well aware of Mastodon, who have taken the genre by storm since their formation in 2000. The Grammy-winning band is currently touring with Coheed & Cambria, but without one of their founding members: Brent Hinds.
The band announced the guitarist's departure in a statement on Instagram back in March. "After 25 monumental years together, Mastodon and Brent Hinds have mutually decided to part ways," the statement read.
Since then, Hinds had kept pretty mum on the topic. But he recently posted some choice words about his ex-bandmates on Instagram—and in their own comment section, no less!

Mastodon posted a photo of the cover for their album Once More 'Round the Sun in honor of its 11th anniversary. Fans in the comments paid their respects to the album. "'Halloween' is definitely my #1 track on this record," one wrote, "definitely gonna miss B. Hinds though."
Perhaps Hinds has a Google alert set for his name, because without even being tagged in the comment, he found it and responded. "I want [sic] miss being in a shit band with horrible humans," he wrote. Ouch!
The fan ignored the dig and wrote back to Hinds, expressing his admiration. "Love the way you shred and write dude," he wrote. "Looking forward to whatever you got cookin."
Hinds does indeed appear to have something cooking. He has another band called Fiend Without a Face, in which he plays guitar and does lead vocals. They have a few European shows scheduled this summer, including one in Sweden in late June and one in Portugal in July. Despite only recently leaving Mastodon, Hinds has been active with his side-project for a while, releasing the band's only album back in 2017. Now that he has more time on his hands, perhaps we'll see another album soon.

Adopting a child is a life-changing decision for every parent. While this bold move brings you closer to completing your family, it comes with its own set of challenges. This is especially true for couples who have embarked on this amazing journey for the very first time. However, an Instagram video of parents meeting their baby following a successful adoption process will prove why it's all worth it in the end. Victoria Lawson and her husband shared their tear-jerking story of bringing a little one into their family, and it will certainly tug at your heartstrings. You must be willing to fully commit once you have decided to bring home a child and make them a part of your family. Raising a kid requires a great deal of devotion, love, care, time, and patience — something Victoria Lawson and her husband Zac seemed ready to give. Victoria shared a heartwarming video of how the parents' first meeting with their baby went shortly after adoption. The couple recently welcomed a beautiful girl, and the clip will hit you right in the feels. The mom revealed that they got a call about a nearly one-day-old baby in the NICU, and how it went after they said 'yes' to the adoption. The clips showed her and Zac breaking down into tears on their first encounter with the little one as she introduced her as Haven Nevaeh Lawson to the world. The pair stood in complete awe of their baby girl, while Victoria gently cradled her in her arms, and the dad emotionally looked down. Moreover, the video's caption explained that the parents spent days in the NICU with the baby post-adoption. It further stated how 'physically and emotionally' hard it has been, with Victoria expressing gratitude for having the opportunity to raise someone they can call their own. The couple has since brought Haven home, embarking on their parenthood journey and sharing several updates with their followers. Commenters pointed out how happy Victoria and Zac appeared after their first meeting with their daughter. 'Mother's love was evident in her eyes,' wrote one user, while another claimed they broke into 'immediate tears' and called the moment 'beautiful.' A third individual praised Zac for realizing his wife's importance 'in this first interaction' as he 'took a back seat' in the clip. The BBC said its news website reaches nearly 60 million visitors in the U.S. alone. Notably, the move comes as CNN, which is run by former BBC Director General Mark Thompson, gets set to unveil its 'first true news streaming service,' three years after the failed CNN+. Rebecca Glashow, CEO of BBC Studios Global Media & Streaming, said the move represents the next phase of the BBC's 'bold mission' unveiled more than three years ago. 'W'e're bringing more of the BBC's trusted, high-quality content together in one powerful, easy-to-access destination,' she added. 'Over the next few months, as we test and learn more about audience needs and habits, additional long-form factual content will be added to the offer for paying users. This is a major milestone and just the beginning of an exciting new chapter.' With a declining license fee and rising costs, the BBC has been under more and more pressure to generate commercial income via BBC Studios.
