‘There's Still Time to Invest in Snowflake Stock,' Says Five-Star Analyst
Although Snowflake (SNOW) shares have already climbed over 35% this year, UBS believes that the software stock still has more room to grow. Following Snowflake's annual Summit in San Francisco, UBS upgraded the stock from Neutral to Buy and raised its price target from $210 to $265. Despite being late to the upgrade, analysts led by five-star rated Karl Keirstead said that Snowflake's performance has only started improving in the last few quarters, and that the broader AI-related investment cycle is just beginning. Confident Investing Starts Here: Easily unpack a company's performance with TipRanks' new KPI Data for smart investment decisions Receive undervalued, market resilient stocks right to your inbox with TipRanks' Smart Value Newsletter Indeed, UBS noted that Snowflake is one of the companies benefiting from the need for 'AI-ready' data, along with Palantir (PLTR) and Databricks. The analysts also pointed out that more software companies like Salesforce (CRM), ServiceNow (NOW), and SAP (SAP) are moving into the data space, which they see as evidence of the growing demand for data. As a result, UBS believes that Snowflake investors haven't fully priced in this growth potential yet and that there's still time to invest before the full AI boom happens. Separately, Morgan Stanley kept its Equal-weight rating and $200 price target despite Snowflake's strengths in data security, ease of use, and multi-cloud capabilities. While the analysts led by five-star rated Keith Weiss praised the company's role in secure AI integration, they remain cautious about the stock's high valuation, which sits at about 55 times the expected free cash flow for 2026. Nevertheless, it is worth mentioning that Snowflake's expansion into data engineering and AI has significantly increased its market opportunity and might justify its premium valuation. Is SNOW a Good Buy Right Now? Overall, analysts have a Strong Buy consensus rating on SNOW stock based on 34 Buys, six Holds, and zero Sells assigned in the past three months, as indicated by the graphic below. Furthermore, the average SNOW price target of $225.03 per share implies 6.4% upside potential. See more SNOW analyst ratings

'Lackluster' WWDC Ahead: Apple Stock (NASDAQ:AAPL) Gains as Strategy Questioned
Consumer electronics giant Apple (AAPL) has been having a bit of a rough time of late, down from the juggernaut it once was, but still very much a part of most people's lives. And with the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) coming up on Monday, difficult questions about Apple's future are being asked. And so far, investors like what they hear, if only somewhat, as Apple shares notched up fractionally in Friday afternoon's trading. Confident Investing Starts Here: Easily unpack a company's performance with TipRanks' new KPI Data for smart investment decisions Receive undervalued, market resilient stocks right to your inbox with TipRanks' Smart Value Newsletter Apple Intelligence has not exactly reached the levels that Apple was hoping for, and this after a year in play. Many of Apple's competitors in this field have made substantial advances, but Apple remains a technological laggard. And with Eddy Cue, Apple's head of services, noting that users '…may not need an iPhone 10 years from now,' that represented a combination of events that definitely did not look good for Apple. But with the WWDC about to fire up in earnest, the focus is shifting to Apple's AI plans, and what it is looking to do now. With that very real possibility that Apple's hardware dominance could be on thin ice, hearing Apple's next moves in the market will be vital to ensuring that shareholders remain interested. However, Samik Chatterjee —who has a five-star rating on TipRanks—with JPMorgan noted that, right now, investors are expecting a 'lackluster' event. What Should Appear The news is difficult enough for Apple right now, but what will it likely roll out at the big show? Reports suggest that a new naming convention for iOS will emerge. While iOS was previously on iOS 18, it will not go to iOS 19. Rather, it will instead go to iOS 26, reports note, as the new convention requires the iOS be the year instead of the version number. Apple is also reportedly planning a major shakeup in the way its software looks. Some figure that it will change to better reflect the Vision Pro's operating system, though there are certain doubts as to how that will work, exactly. Apple may also uncase another app for social gaming, as the Game Center could use a bit of a replacement. But one thing that will likely not show up at WWDC, reports note, is any kind of new hardware. And if this is the case, that 'lackluster' projection of Chatterjee's might be dead-on. Is Apple a Buy, Hold or Sell? Turning to Wall Street, analysts have a Moderate Buy consensus rating on AAPL stock based on 16 Buys, nine Holds and four Sells assigned in the past three months, as indicated by the graphic below. After a 1.9% rally in its share price over the past year, the average AAPL price target of $228.65 per share implies 12.83% upside potential. Perplexity AI Reports Explosive Growth as Users Look for Browser Alternatives
Perplexity's AI-powered search engine is growing quickly, with CEO Aravind Srinivas reporting a 20% month-over-month increase and 780 million queries in May, according to TechCrunch. Speaking at the Bloomberg Tech Summit, Srinivas said that the platform could hit 1 billion weekly queries if growth continues. He also argued that internet users are looking for fresh alternatives to legacy browsers like Google's (GOOGL) Chrome, and that integrated search tools in a browser can drive even higher engagement. Confident Investing Starts Here: As a result, the company is preparing to launch Comet, which is a new agentic search engine that can help complete tasks for users. In addition, Srinivas noted on X that Comet will soon include features such as meeting recordings, transcription, and search, although these will not be available in the initial release. Nevertheless, Perplexity is working hard to polish the product, with a release expected in about three to five weeks. It is also worth noting that Perplexity is backed by investors such as Nvidia (NVDA) and Amazon (AMZN) founder Jeff Bezos, and is reportedly closing a funding round that would value it at $14 billion, up from $9 billion in December. Moreover, the search engine recently added a new feature that allows in-chat purchases via PayPal (PYPL) or Venmo. Still, despite Perplexity's growth, Google still dominates the market with about 90% global market share, followed by Microsoft's (MSFT) Bing at around 4%. Which Stock Is the Better Buy? Turning to Wall Street, out of the stocks mentioned above, analysts think that NVDA stock has the most room to run. In fact, NVDA's average price target of $172.36 per share implies more than 21% upside potential. On the other hand, analysts expect the least from MSFT stock, as its average price target of $514.27 equates to a gain of 9.2%. See more NVDA analyst ratings Disclaimer & Disclosure Report an Issue
