West Coast Eagles skipper Oscar Allen has been praised by the AFL community following his post-game interview.
The Eagles snapped their winless streak after taking down St Kilda at Optus Stadium with the victory coming in the wake of Adam Selwood's shock death.

News of the 41-year-old's death on Saturday left the AFL world in deep mourning — coming just three months after twin brother Troy took his own life.
Adam played 187 games for West Coast and was famously part of the Eagles' 2006 premiership win over the Sydney Swans.
The Eagles delivered in style to honour the club icon as they secured the 16.12 (108) to 12.8 (80) win.
Following the win Allen issued a plea to anybody who may be struggling with mental health issues to please reach out.

'We've lost a legend of our club and we just want to send all our love and support to the Selwood family,' Allen said.
'Mental health is such a massive thing in society at the moment, I've had my own mental battles this year and have been so fortunate to have such a great support crew around me to have my back through everything I've gone through.
'I just urge anybody out there who is struggling with anything, please reach out. Helplines, friends reach out to each other.
'We're heartbroken and we just want to offer all the love and support we can to the Selwood family in this time.'

News of Selwood's passing left the AFL world heartbroken with more tears flowing after his final act for his twin Troy was revealed.
Fans flocked to donate money to a charity program Adam had set up in support of Troy to raise money for a mental health charity.
In a heartbreaking set of circumstances, Adam Selwood recently said his plans to take part in next week's HBF Run for a Reason — in support of the zero2hero charity — was one of the things that 'kept him going' after his brother's death.
The Run for a Reason half marathon will continue to take place on Sunday, May 25, and Selwood will be in the hearts of many that run the course in Perth.
In a touching twist, more than $4000 was donated to Selwood's zero2hero campaign on Saturday night — taking his total money raised to more than $25,000.
Selwood originally set out on his half marathon journey aiming to raise $10,000 — but the exercise has touched the hearts of many more people than may have been expected.

Braith Anasta has warned that the Lachlan Galvin signing could disrupt the Bulldogs' momentum and will likely result in a major backline reshuffle. The 19-year-old's contract saga has dominated the rugby league news cycle for several weeks before it finally came to a head last week when he signed with the Bulldogs on around $750,000 a season. Many expected Galvin to make his debut in the Easter Monday clash against the Eels, but the teen phenom has instead been named outside the 17. Although a late change could be on the cards. His arrival at Belmore had many speculating he would take the spot of No. 7 Toby Sexton, who has been a revelation in 2025 and is a large reason why the Dogs sit pretty at the top of the NRL ladder. But Anasta told that he believes Bulldogs coach Cameron Ciraldo has other ideas and instead representative centre and current Dogs five-eighth Matt Burton will shift to fullback, with Galvin handed the No. 6 jersey and fullback Connor Tracey playing off the bench or dropped to reserve grade. 'I think Galvin is a 5/8 not a halfback,' Anasta told 'I know many are saying he will play seven but the Galvin signing isn't a short-term play. Where he fits their system right now is tricky. 'I'm sure the Dogs would have spoken to him openly about where he could potentially play but there isn't an obvious spot for him to come into. I would think they will most likely give Sexton the next few weeks to see if he continues to knock it out of the park. 'If he does they have two options, play him (Galvin) off the bench for the year or if not I don't mind the idea of playing Burton at fullback. If it was up to me I'd be doing that before anything else so as to not interrupt the team as much. 'I could see them really having success with Burton at fullback along with Sexton and Galvin in that spine but again a lot of it really rides on Sexton.' If Galvin is to be a late inclusion, he will likely be met with a mixed reception from fans, coming up against the team he turned down, the Eels. While Tigers fans also feel aggrieved by his decision to exit the club and his return to the joint venture will almost certainly result in him being booed and jeered every time he touches the ball. That reaction is nothing new to Anasta, who in his playing career had a mixed reaction after he joined the Roosters, due to the fact he was a Rabbitohs junior. So ahead of Galvin's possible debut, the player-turned-Fox League pundit passed on some words of wisdom to the teenager. 'My words of wisdom with anything like this is you've made your decision now and have to just back yourself,' Anasta told Canterbury Bulldogs signing Lachlan Galvin. Lachlan Galvin is pushing to be a late inclusion. 'He (Galvin) sounds like a really switched-on kid with a high footy IQ. All I'd say is block out the noise as it's really irrelevant. 'What people think, feel all their opinions about you are irrelevant unless they're the ones closest to you like your family, friends your boss and your coach. 'Because everyone's always going have an opinion and not everyone's always going to agree with the decisions that you're making in life but it doesn't matter. It really doesn't matter as long as you know you're confident in your own ability, confident in the decision you make and you work hard. 'For Galvin, the sky is the limit, the decision to leave has been made, he can put all that behind him and look forward to playing footy.' ‘No test?': AFL world unloads on Lachie Neale, Dayne Zorko high shots
Brisbane Lions stars Lachie Neale and Dayne Zorko both suffered heavy head knocks in Friday night's clash with the Crows in Adelaide. James Peatling was swiftly reported for a sling tackle on two-time Brownlow medallist Neale, while Zorko slammed his head into the turf after a fair collision with Alex Neal-Bullen. Both premiership players appeared shaken up after the heavy contact on a wet night in Adelaide, but neither seemed to go for Head Injury Assessments, much to the surprise of those watching on. It is standard practice for players to undergo assessments on the sideline for any head-high shots, yet Neale and Zorko played on after doing their best to shake off the heavy contact and clear their own heads. Garry Lyon added: 'Dangerous tackle being paid here against Peatling, who has the job on Lachie Neale. 'Do they take him off and look at it or not? Probably doctors would be looking at that now.' Just minutes later, two-time All Australian Zorko became airborne after contact from Neal-Bullen and the back of his head met heavily with the pitch. 'He looks a bit sore Zorko, that was a great effort by Neal Bullen coming from the left of screen,' Crows great Mark Ricciuto said. 'Zorko hit his head as well but unfortunately just bad luck in the contest that one.' 'I think he's in trouble, he was reported by the umpire for that dumping tackle on Neale,' Fox Footy's Jon Ralph said at halftime. 'I think the extreme dumping motion there, as his head hits the ground, means he's likely to miss one week. 'It's excessive force, there's more than one action in a vulnerable position. They're the things (Match Review Officer) Michael Christian looks for.' Nathan Buckley and Jordan Lewis both agreed Peatling was in trouble. But the fact neither player appeared to get any treatment from club officials was curious to those watching on. Sports writer Ronny Lerner wrote: 'Surprising that Neale or Zorko haven't left the field yet for HIAs. They clearly clutched their heads after they hit the ground hard.' One fan replied: 'Agreed they either need a HIA or they're playing it up.' Another fan asked: 'Neale gonna get that checked out we reckon?' A fourth joked: 'Adelaide's game plan … give concussions.' A fifth stated: 'Wait, what … no concussion test for Neale? Just got his temporal lobe smashed into the ground enough that an infield report was made.' Another tweeted: 'So if Neale hit his head then why isn't he getting checked over?? Double standards for stars?' Many also felt 24-year-old Peatling, who started his career with GWS before moving to Adelaide, could prepare for some time on the sideline. 'That's a suspension. 2 actions, cya later. Neale better do a HIA too,' was one comment on X. 'Reported for rough conduct. Yeah. Fair enough. That's a bad tackle,' said another. 'RDO for James Peatling coming up,' wrote another. 'That's going to be a little holiday for Peatling,' was another comment. In a low scoring contest, the Lions kicked the only two goals of the first quarter before Adelaide fought back, with the visitors holding an eight-point lead at halftime.
