Holiday goers rave over Tesco dupe of £1k Rimowa suitcases loved by celebs – they're under £30 and there's two colours

IF you're jetting off somewhere sunny this year and need a new suitcase, look no further than Tesco
The supermarket currently has a dupe of the popular Rimowa brand in stores, and for a bargain price.

You've probably seen the Rimowa suitcases rolling alongside your favourite celebs and influencers without even realising.
Stars like Zendaya, Cara Delevingne and Julianne Moore have been photographed with the stylish luggage before, but the Rimowa Classic Cabin will set you back a whopping £1,130 - and prices go up if you want a larger case too.
Luckily, one savvy shopper spotted the dupe on the shelves of their local Tesco - and you'll save hundreds.
Libbie Fitzpatrick took to TikTok to show off the find - and shoppers can even choose from gold or silver.
In the viral video she said: "Get yourself down to Tesco because they've just brought out Rimowa-style suitcases and they are stunning!"
The suitcases are priced at £65, but Clubcard shoppers can nab the luggage for just £27.50.
Holiday goers took to the comment section of the clip to rave about the find, as one wrote: "They've been reduced a while now, over two weeks!"
"I got the blue one a few weeks ago, they didn't have gold and silver then. Still prefer the blue.
"Suitcases are so expensive these days so these are a good price on the deal," another wrote.
But others weren't sure if plastic suitcases would be a good fit for airport chaos.
My daughter is never going to school because our eight family holidays per year are more important - parents who only take trips during the official breaks are 'utter muppets'
Meanwhile, others wanted to know if the suitcases were lightweight, "Please tell me it's light weight and won't take off my allowance," one said.
And another agreed: "I don't like hard style cases, they weight a bit more so you can't carry as much."
If you are on the hunt for a new suitcase that will stand the test of time, Captain Alexander York, who flies A380s for Emirates, shared his go-to bag that has yet to let him down.
The 40-year-old has been using the exact same suitcase for over a decade and knows which cases are more likely to end up being duds.
He told 9Travel: "I've been using a large hard case Samsonite for over 15 years and it's served me well."
Hard-shell luggage is rigid and usually made of plastic or metal, while soft-shell cases are typically made of fabric and are more flexible.
While he did not name a specific one, Samsonite said its hard-shell suitcases are typically made from "high-quality materials like polycarbonate or aluminium."
Alexander recommended hard cases over soft ones, despite their higher weight, as he believes softer ones are at a greater risk of damage.
He said: "I think bags with exposed wheels, or soft pouches are bound to be damaged, so I'd stick with the hard case."
Holiday packing tips
Jemma Solomon, aka The Label Lady has got 5 packing tips to help you get organised for your next holiday.
1. Write a list
Think about all the essentials you need to take with you; suncream, medicine, a few games for the kids, beach towels, and write everything in one list, which you can tick off as you add it to your suitcase.
Or for complete ease, try Google's AI app - Gemini - which will create a list for you and help you not over pack.
2. Involve your kids
Jemma said: 'My girls are getting older, they're 11 and nine, and they enjoy helping to pack. So I send them a list, and say 'this is what you need' and they follow the list.
'And then I give them a rucksack each - and say to them 'you can have whatever you want in there as long as it's not liquid', and they can take that on the plane. And that's their 'home away from home' items.'
3. Try a hack or two
She said: "I think they all work, but for different reasons - and you've just got to pick the right one for your trip.
"Rolling your clothes is really good to stop your clothes from getting creases. And if you're trying to get a lot of items into your case, it's a space saver.
'Packing cubes are great - for example, I'm going on holiday with my three kids and we're all using the same suitcase for our clothes.
"These handy compartments let you separate your clothes, toiletries and tech into designated cubes, maximising luggage space by keeping your items compressed and neatly stacked.
"I love taking them abroad with the family and it means my kids can easily take charge of their own items once we've arrived."
4. Decant beauty products
Do you really need to take full-size bottles of shampoo and conditioner with you? The beauty industry has evolved so much, you can now buy shampoo bars or sheets - which are much lighter and smaller.
Or, if you'll be popping to the shops when you're abroad, consider buying some items when you arrive.
5. Get organised before you come home
Jemma said: 'When you repack on holiday [before coming home], the trick is to separate clean from dirty clothes.
'Also pack it in some form of order - so lights, darks, colours for items that need washing, or if you wash your clothes by person in the household, piles for each person.
"Then you can put it straight into the washing machine. Do it straight away, don't leave it."

Sabrina Carpenter takes savage swipe at ex Barry Keoghan as she announces new single

SABRINA Carpenter has made a not-so-thinly veiled jab at her ex Barry Keoghan with the announcement of her new single. The Taste singer, who is known for her playful and sexual lyrics and stage show, teased her new single yesterday with a cheeky clip of her hitch-hiking in bum-exposing shorts. 6 6 6 Now she's revealed the name of the song – and made it known it was about someone in particular. Taking to Instagram, she captioned the clip: 'this one's about you!! 'Manchild' is out this Thursday 6/5 8pm EST♥️ special 7' vinyl available now'.' A teaser of the vinyl also revealed the words: 'Inside of your head when you've just won an argument with a man.' While Sabrina didn't explicitly say it was about Irish actor Barry Keoghan – who is set to play Ringo Starr in the upcoming four-part Beatles biopic film series – fans wasted no time in believing it was about the pair, considering their split last year. Sabrina and Barry were first connected in September 2023, making their first public appearance together at Grammys after-party in February 2024. They later attended the MET Gala together, with Barry being seen on the side of the stage throughout some of Sabrina's performances. The actor, who shot to fame in Saltburn and Banshees of Inisherin, later had a starring role in her music video for Please Please Please, which depicts the story of a woman deciding to ignore warnings for a potential romance, but begging her love interest not to embarrass her. However, in August, The Sun on Sunday confirmed Barry had been dumped by Sabrina for the first time after she grew tired of his party lifestyle. A source said at the time: 'Barry acts like an idiot when he is drunk and Sabrina was getting increasingly frustrated. 'He has always been a party animal and Sabrina was fed up with his antics. She is soaring in the charts and is putting herself first as she gears up for her tour next month.' Romantic dinners, racy shoutouts and sexy video cameos - a timeline of Sabrina Carpenter & Barry Keoghan's relationship While they later reconnected, they officially ended for good in December. It was believed that a combined pressure of her skyrocketing fame and tour schedule, plus his workload and party lifestyle, ultimately made the relationship unviable. A source told People: "They are both young and career-focused, so they've decided to take a break." 6 6 6

I turned my drab kitchen into a home using £12 bargain from Temu – people can't believe how good it looks

A SAVINGS-savvy homeowner shared impressive before-and-after snaps of her kitchen after nabbing a Temu bargain. Tracy Davies rid herself of her unsightly tiles with a handy £12 fix. 3 3 Using peel-and-stick tiles from the bargain website, she completely transformed the space. "From painted tiles which I absolutely hated to stick on times from Temu," she wrote on the DIY On a Budget Official Facebook page. "A massive improvement," she added. Tracy's bog-standard white square tiles have been covered with large, marble-style tile stickers, which give the kitchen a modern feel. Fellow home hackers were shocked by the difference the simple solution made. "Would love to do this, looks lovely," one wrote. "These look great, I'm going to look into getting these," another said. "I also used the stick on tiles to cover up ugly tiles in my kitchen," a third wrote. The good news is that the stickers are easy to apply, and no grout is needed. I wanted a panelled room but wasn't going to spend loads so risked it & bought £36 strips from Temu - I saved a fortune If you want to give your kitchen or bathroom some TLC, Temu offers a huge variety of stick on tiles in different colours and styles. Amazon Dunelm and B&Q also sell packs of tile stickers. The tiles on Amazon range from £8 to £20, while at Dunelm prices start from £18. It's not just stick-on tiles that have home fixers jumping for joy - there are even self-adhesive wood panels to add a little extra style to any room. Betty, a content creator from the UK who is currently renovating her home, used dado rails to panel her hallway - and it left many open-mouthed. But while many were stunned and thought the DIY project was incredibly 'impressive', others thought it made Betty's home look 'dated'. Alongside her short social media clip, the brunette, who often shares beginner-friendly DIY tips and tricks online, beamed: 'This is your sign to panel your hallway.' She then added: 'If you're going to make one update to your hallway for maximum impact then let it be this! 'This has to be the panelling project that I'm most proud of (mainly because I finally tackled those angles).' Betty claimed that 'preparation is key' when it comes to panelling, as she pre-marked each location to ensure it looked neat once complete. She later revealed that she got the dado rails as part of a traditional stair panelling kit from Roomix. As well as adding panelling to her hallway, which Betty coated in Dulux Egyptian Cotton paint, she also painted the top of her walls in the shade White Mist from Dulux.

Liverpool star will NOT be part of potential Florian Wirtz deal as Reds prepare record bid with negotiations with Bayer Leverkusen ongoing

A Liverpool star will not be part of any potential deal for Florian Wirtz as the Reds prepare a record bid for the midfielder. Liverpool remain in negotiations with Bayer Leverkusen over a deal for Wirtz. Bayer want £120million and Liverpool are at £109m but Wirtz has made it clear he wants the move. The Germany star has been convinced by Arne Slot 's clear plan of where he will play in Liverpool's set-up as a No 10. Should the Reds accede to Bayer's demands, Wirtz would become the most expensive signing in British football, overtaking the £115m Chelsea paid Brighton for Moises Caicedo. Some reports had suggested that a Reds star would be part of the deal, but that won't be happening, with a cash-only deal on the table. That player is Harvey Elliott, who has suggested his future could lay away from Anfield. If that is to happen, however, the destination won't be Leverkusen. Richard Hughes, Liverpool's Sporting Director, has proposed a package to his Leverkusen counterpart Simon Rolfes with easily attainable performance-related bonuses, such as Champions League qualification but the clubs are yet to agree a final fee. Former Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag was appointed Leverkusen's new head coach last week after Xabi Alonso departed to take charge of Real Madrid. Ten Hag has been out of work since being sacked by United in October but has wasted little time in looking to the Premier League to reshape his new squad. It's widely been accepted that Wirtz won't be part of that squad, but a deal with Liverpool is yet to be agreed after the player himself made it clear he wanted the Reds instead of Manchester City or Bayern Munich. 'I think it's been a lot more difficult for me because I obviously had that injury at the start,' Elliott told Liverpool Echo in April. 'But at the same time, you need to be here for the team, work as hard as you can and when the opportunities come on the pitch. 'A lot of times this season it's almost been [coming on] when we've been losing or drawing, so it is about trying to change the game, try and turn it around and have a positive impact. But, you know, any minutes for Liverpool are amazing.' 'I hope that I can push on. This is my team, I am committed to them and it's just a situation that is always going to have a lot of talk, I just need to think about what is best for my future, my career and as much as I want it to be here.' If Elliott is to leave, though, it will be in a separate deal to the one involving Wirtz. Arne Slot has also spoken to Rayan Cherki but the midfielder was viewed as a back-up option to Wirtz. Liverpool are also aware of interest from Al Nassr for winger Luis Diaz but have yet to receive an official approach. Wirtz, meanwhile, has taken to social media to hit out at the German press after one reporter suggested the forward would be looking to take Alexis Mac Allister's No 10 shirt should the move go through. 'Who says I want the 10,' Wirtz posted to his 3.3million Instagram followers. 'I respect players.' He added: 'Don't believe everything what's written,' accompanied by a clown emoji.
