Massive rallies in Dhamar under title "With Gaza & Palestine ...Against Killers & Arrogant Powers"

Saba Yemen02-05-2025

Dhamar - Saba:
The province of Dhamar witnessed massive public rallies on Friday under the title "With Gaza & Palestine... Against Killers & Arrogant Powers."
Participants in the marches, which took place across 38 squares in various districts, reaffirmed the steadfast stance of the Yemeni people alongside the Palestinian people and their continued support through all available means.
They also emphasized the failure of the American-British aggression to break the will of the Yemeni people or deter them from their supportive position toward Palestine, including their operations in solidarity with the oppressed in Gaza.
The demonstrators praised the strikes by the Yemeni Armed Forces deep into the occupied Palestinian territories, the enforcement of a blockade on Zionist maritime navigation, and the targeting of American warships and military vessels.
They reiterated their commitment to the path of jihad in the cause of God, standing with Palestine, and their full authorization to the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badruddin Al-Houthi, to take the necessary measures to support the Palestinian people in their resistance against the Zionist occupation and confront American aggression on Yemen.
A statement issued during the rallies—on the anniversary of "The Cry Against the Arrogant Powers," marking the first practical step in launching the Quranic project—highlighted the early beginnings of the Quranic march, the confident steps taken with divine trust, and the magnitude of challenges, plots, and conspiracies faced, which were shattered by God's power and faded before this great project.
The statement stressed the importance of "reflecting on the fruits and results Yemen has achieved today, the divine promises fulfilled, and the manifestations of the unique and exceptional faith-based stance in support of Gaza—all of which strengthen the Yemeni people's confidence in the correctness of this wise Quranic path." It affirmed that "the Quranic project is the straight path leading to the good outcomes promised by God to the righteous, while other paths of misguidance have only produced the shameful reality of a two-billion-strong Muslim nation that, with all its states, armies, wealth, and people, fails to deliver even a single loaf of bread or a single pill to besieged Gaza."
The statement called on "the people of the nation to sincerely return to the path of the Holy Quran, raise their voices in disavowal of God's enemies, activate economic boycotts as effective weapons and practical steps—measures we have tested, witnessed, and recognized in value, as has the entire world."
It pointed to Yemen's unwavering stance with Gaza and Palestine against the killers and arrogant powers, asserting that "America, with its support for the Zionist enemy and its aggression against Yemen, will not prevent the mighty warriors from aiding Gaza—it has already failed in this, and the mujahideen of our Armed Forces have delivered successive blows, the latest being the strike on its aircraft carrier Truman and its warplanes."
The statement clarified that "the Yemeni people, through their honorable and unparalleled tribal rallies and marches today, are delivering blows to the American-Zionist enemy."
It further affirmed "the continuation of tribal rallies in support of the oppressed Palestinian people and the general mobilization, relying on God with unwavering resolve—unshaken by enemy propaganda, massacres, or blockades. Our Quranic and faith-based stance will not shift toward weakness or hesitation, God forbid, but will only grow stronger. And in God, let the believers place their trust."

Yemen's Houthi rebels fire missile at Israel in first attack since Iran-Israel war

Yemen's Houthi rebels said they launched a ballistic missile towards Israel on Saturday, marking their first attack since the 24 June ceasefire between Israel and Iran, which followed a 12-day war. Warning sirens sounded in several areas across Israel before the military said the missile was 'most likely successfully intercepted.' In a statement, Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree said the group had targeted 'a sensitive Israeli enemy site in the occupied area of Beersheba' using a Dhu al-Fiqar ballistic missile. He said the strike was carried out in retaliation for what they described as the 'crimes of the criminal Zionist enemy' against civilians in the Gaza Strip. Israel has faced mounting international condemnation for its attacks on civilians, particularly near aid distribution centres. Gaza's health ministry says more than 500 people have been killed near aid points since late May, many shot while trying to access food. Humanitarian organisations, including Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders), have described the aid mechanism, backed by Israel and the US, as 'slaughter masquerading as humanitarian aid.' The Houthis, backed by Iran, began launching missiles and drones at Israel after it began its devastating war on Gaza in October 2023. The International Court of Justice has found a plausible risk of genocide, while aid and rights groups have explicitly described Israel's campaign as genocidal. The group has said it will halt attacks once a truce is reached and Israel ends its military onslaught against the besieged population. It paused strikes during a two-month ceasefire earlier this year but resumed them after Israel escalated its war on Gaza in March, unleashing fresh attacks on residential areas and aid distribution sites. According to Gaza's health ministry, Israeli forces have killed 56,331 Palestinians and injured 132,632 others since the war began. That includes 6,008 killed and 20,591 wounded since Israel resumed large-scale bombardment on 18 March. Israel, the US, and the UK have carried out a series of airstrikes on Houthi-controlled territory in Yemen, including ports and the airport in the rebel-held capital, Sanaa. Saree said Houthi operations would continue 'until the aggression against Gaza stops and the siege is lifted.'

Euro-Med Monitor: Dangerous Israeli escalation in Gaza amid unjustified International silence

Gaza – Saba: The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor stated on Saturday that the Israeli entity is escalating its genocide crimes in Gaza amid ongoing unjustified international silence. In a statement, the Monitor reported that the Israeli army has recently intensified its direct and deliberate attacks on Palestinian civilians, with an increasing focus on targeting shelters and displacement tents, according to the Palestinian news agency "Safa." It noted that Israeli warplanes today launched a series of violent airstrikes on densely populated residential areas in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City, killing more than 23 civilians, including children and women. The Monitor emphasized that Israel's escalation is part of a systematic policy to undermine the foundations of life in Gaza, within the framework of a genocidal campaign aimed at eliminating Palestinian existence and depopulating the Strip. It further pointed out that the increasing intensity of Israeli bombardment coincides with continued mass killings of starving Palestinians near aid distribution centers, which the army has imposed in central and southern Gaza. The statement stressed that all relevant countries and entities must uphold their legal , moral responsibilities and act urgently to stop the genocide in the Gaza Strip. With American and European support, the Israeli army has continued to commit genocidal crimes in Gaza since October 7, 2023, resulting in the deaths of 56,412 Palestinian civilians, most of them children and women, and 133,054 injuries so far. These figures remain non-final, as thousands of victims are still trapped under rubble or in the streets, unreachable by rescue and medical teams. Whatsapp Telegram Email Print

Calls for forming "Protection Committees" in Palestinian villages in West Bank

Gaza – Saba: Voices from elites, politicians, and activists rose on Saturday, emphasizing the need to provide protection for Palestinian villages in the West Bank and activate "night guard and protection committees" to prevent Zionist settlers from escalating their attacks and violations. According to Quds Press agency, these calls came after an increase in attacks by Zionist settlers targeting several Palestinian villages and areas, resulting in the martyrdom of many Palestinians and severe damage to property. Abu Jeesh, a leader in the Palestinian People's Party and a member of the Factional Coordination Committee in Nablus Governorate, stated, "The settlers' attacks are barbaric, and their escalation requires a plan to confront these crimes and protect Palestinian rural areas." He stressed the necessity of activating "protection and guard committees" around Palestinian villages, towns, cities, and camps to confront these criminal gangs. Abu Jeesh added, "After the increasing frequency of settlers' attacks against the Palestinian people and the green light given by the Zionist political level and the extremist criminal Ben Gvir, it is imperative for all Palestinians to unite, stand together, and break the silence. There is no choice but to confront these criminal gangs." He also called for "the necessity of providing international protection for the Palestinian people, who are being slaughtered and killed," asserting that "the world is turning a blind eye to the crimes committed against the Palestinian people." He continued, "If this aggression were against other countries, the world would be in an uproar. Yet, despite the Palestinians suffering for many long years, condemnation and denunciation do nothing to alleviate their plight." Concluding his remarks, he said, "We are an unarmed people living under an unjust siege, and it is the duty of freedom-loving people around the world to act to save the Palestinian people from the extremist enemy government. We are not a testing ground." Whatsapp Telegram Email Print
